Seeing Sibylla fall over once more, Timea took a step closer to her, about to offer her a hand up, but kept from doing it when Sibylla admitted defeat. "What--", Timea began to say with a voice that carried confusion, but cut her sentence short when Sibylla's legs began fusing together. At first, Timea looked on with curiosity, but looked more disturbed when she could hear the bones rearranging.

When Sibylla's metamorphosis was complete, Timea stared at her for a moment, then with concern, asked, "...Are you quite all right? That sounded ever so painful."

"Where are you from then? I am also from a far away land, and I was hoping to find a way back to the mainland."

Homer meekly walks into the tavern, looking quite out of place. He looks for a bar, or a place where the drinks were served.

Homer would find a bar, with a few people drinking at it. Some of the patrons would stare at him as he entered and approached the bar.

[hr]

"We're from Calibeth, on the mainland. What about you?" the hunter asked.

"Yeh, fahne." Sibylla replied to Timea nonchalantly. "Why's Miss 'Ah-turn-inta-giant-birds' havin'a hard time with this?" She ribbed.

"Well, I don't quite have my bones broken when I change into things", Timea answered after a short "hmm". She paused briefly, then added, "I've also never seen a gorgon change the structure of their body, but it was mostly that snapping noise that worried me."

With that said, Timea paused again, to indicate a change in subject. "Since there's nothing to worry about, let's see what we can find, shall we?" With that said, Timea turned around and approached the nearest local person, giving them a small wave upon approach. "Excuse me?"

You follow Homer into the tavern and sit down beside him by the bar, ignoring the stares he, and possibly you as well, are getting. You then try to get the bartender's attention to order some drinks.

The bartender would approach Shara and Homer, and take their orders. The list of drinks would consist largely of different types of beers, rum and vodka.

[hr]

The cart would pass through the streets and eventually stop near the water, in a small market. The group would be told to move, while the cart driver started unloading fish onto a stall.

[hr]

"A different world? How did you come to be in our world, then?"

[hr]

The person Timea had approached would look up, eyeing the two women curiously. "What is it?" he asked.

Suddenly realizing people were leaving the cart and going somewhere, Speedy jumped off.

A loud BANG was heard, then only a little burning trail would be seen, leading into the tavern.

Homer had a Hamster on his head.

"I was wondering if you could tell me about the ocean", Timea stated, not caring too much about the look she and Sibylla received. She thought she would have a better chance of learning about the oceans when asking around the actual dock areas, but wanted to keep Heno talking to the two pale figures within earshot, in case they said something interesting.

"I also have some other questions, mostly regarding the mainland. But let's start with the sea separating here and it."

"Okay. What do you want to know?" the man asked Timea, wondering what sort of questions one would have about an ocean.

"In the small village to the south, I heard a story about some kind of curse resting on the waters. Something about a tale of a ship that sailed out without a charm to one "Kuvita", and ended being... deathly afraid of water. So much that the sailor ended up dead from dehydration.", Timea retold, having no trouble recounting the name mentioned by the fisherman. "Would you say this is fact, or simple superstition?"

"It's not a curse. Kuvita is the God of the Sea, and he doesn't like people crossing the water without proper respect." the man stated. "As for that story, I heard the same thing. Might be a legend, could be true. Nobody's in a hurry to test it out."

[hr]

Hearing Heno's statement, the two robed figures smiled. "Then we may be hunting together quite soon." one of them stated, this one sounding more feminine.

You begin to order drinks, when you are interrupted by the bang and subsequent appearance of a hamster on Homer's head. You look at it for a few seconds, then shake your head and order a cheap beer for yourself and small beer for Homer.

OoC: Small beer (Silly name, I think) is basically beer with very little alcohol in it.

"Well that sound like a great idea, ya! No experience in hunting though. Say, do either of you know where I could find job on boat to mainland?... Or where I can buy passage on boat to mainland?"

At the man's answer, Timea let out a "hmm", momentarily glancing towards Heno and the hunters as they spoke, then looking back to the man. "Well, would this apply to the entire sea, or just stretches of it? And is this 'wrath' saved for simply humans?" she asked, then let out a small laugh. "I have trouble picturing birds carrying around charms to this god when flying over. Do they die in droves?"

Timea still wasn't sure what to think of the story, but like the locals, wasn't very keen on the idea of testing the story's merits.
