Utarra - Day 4 - 14:46​

Looking around further, Timea didn't think much of the great kilts, them resembling garbs she had seen in India, to some extend. She did wonder if there was something to the patterning on them. Timea also noted the general mood the people were in, and added asking about this to her to-do list.

"You see, then, you couldn't rightly say looks shouldn't matter. They're an important part to great many creatures, integral even. For better, or for worse", Timea commented, speaking casually.

At the docks, Timea noted a building resembling the library she had found on Kaisir, and began approaching it. She didn't know if this building was indeed the library, but figured it was possibly, and that she could ask for directions, if it wasn't.

"I can say they shouldn't matter. I know that they do matter. For other people. I've gotten enough bad reactions from people who lacked basic conversation skills because they could not read in my face whatever normal people read in other people's eyes." Anik said.

"Oh. I was mistaken. I thought your gauntlet was sky metal." Robin explained to the guard. "Isn't this place more accepting of magic than Calibeth?"

"I hope so too, he's a big dumb meanie, and I don't like him." Hillary said with a hmph. "But I promise, Timea is probably tired if she had to fly all the way here." Hillary nodded while her head rested on Anik's arm, rubbing back and forth against it. "So, lets see..."

"OOOOOOH! We are sailors that is our way, we ride the waves all through the day. Come with and you will see, that we ain't weaklings who sip their tea~" Hillary started singing, not overly good at singing, but having that childish whimsy to it that made it alright. She would continue some more, getting about 4ish lines more before she started stuttering as she couldn't remember the words anymore.

Anik laughed. "That's how I expect a sailor's song to go. But what do they have against tea?"

Timea considered countering Anik's comment, but assumed it would just lead to the conversation going in circles. Instead, she let out a "hmm", and followed this up by asking, "a thought experiment: Assume nothing had eyes, and adapted accordingly; how do you think people would act?"

The building Timea approached was, clearly, some kind of library, as it contained a large number of papers, books and other such things stored in a back room. The wooden floor would prevent Timea from entering the building, but there was an open window she could use to speak with the clerks in the back room from outside.

"Firstly, it's not a gauntlet." the guard replied, raising his arm and waving the stump around. "And secondly, it is sky-metal, but it's not a weapon. And yes, sorcery is accepted here. But that doesn't mean the ability to perform it is common here. We need sky-metal for that very reason."

"I asked the captain what tea was actually, and he said it was a fowl drink that nobody should like, and stuff." Hillary replied. "But later one of the other sailors said that the captain liked this one girl, and she dumped tea on his lap, and told me not to say anything about it to him. So I didn't." Hillary added, then looked up to Anik's face her head rubbing on Anik's arm to indicate the move. "You gotta promise not to say anything to him too alright, otherwise the nice sailor man could get in trouble. You gotta Anik."

Utarra - Day 4 - 14:47

"Hmm. I have never really thought about that. I assume I would be considered normal then. And half of my 'charm' wouldn't work, but I think I would be happy with the trade. As for people in general ... I don't know. Either there would be a lot less pride, less caring about beauty, and more caring about the inner values ... or it would just be the same, only with a focus on other things. Like how beautiful a voice sounds, or how smooth their skin is. Probably the latter, knowing humans." Anik said, after a short time of thinking. Realising they stepped before a building, she waited for Timea to speak with the people inside.

"I won't tell him, I promise. I wonder what he did that the girl dumped tea on him, though.
So ... are you feeling tired? Or do you want to do something before going to bed?" Anik said, as they were approaching where Timea was sleeping, outside the city.

"I asked, but the sailor guy said I was too young for that. I thought that was a silly reason, but he was nice so I let him keep that a secret." Hillary said innocently. Hillary would shake her head at the talk of sleeping. "Not quite yet, I had lots of sleep on the boat actually. But I dunno what I wanna do..." Hillary said, although given Hillary's closeness along the walk, maybe she wanted hugs.

"Right. So sky metal lets anyone cast sorcery?" He was quiet for a second. "Also I can go back and get... that if you want."

Utarra - Day 4 - 14:48​

"Oh, the latter. Undoubtedly!" Timea said with a small laugh. "Although I think it would be likely scents would be the main focus of attraction. Largely based on personal experiences. I do like my scents~" she added, speaking more jokingly at the end of her sentence.

After saying this, Timea looked the building over, noting that this indeed seemed to be the library. "Anyway. This is the library, so I'll be asking for the map, now."

Timea then approached the window, stopping three paces away from it, and looked inside. Seeing the clerks, she called out, "Excuse me? Could someone help me?"
She didn't explain why she didn't enter through the front door to Anik, partially because she expected Anik to have gotten an idea of how heavy she was from feeling her density when she rode Timea, and partially because she expected to have to explain it to the clerks.

Utarra Area - Day 4 - 23:07​

Timea was sleepingin a ditch she dug, hugging the flaming blanket between her arms and legs, holding it close to herself. She was still in her reptillian humanoid form.

Utarra - Day 4 - 14:48

Anik murmured a "yes", as she had forgotten about scents, even though they were also one main part of attraction about others for herself. Knowing Timea had not been able to get on a ship because of her weight, she did not question her asking the people inside from outside. She wondered if she should ask for a map that could be felt, but considered the existence of such highly unlikely, and so instead turned, and made clicks to get a full 'view' of the area. Having realized that the Vesh'Rah they spoke to earlier had a slightly different heart than the hearts of Calibetheans, she wondered if she could sense how many Vesh, and how many humans, were in the area.

Utarra Area - Day 4 - 23:07

"Here we are." Anik announced, while stopping near Timea. Now she could finally do what she wanted to earlier, but waited to do. Carefully placing her sword on the ground, she rubbed her head against Hillarys, and hugged her. Giggling, she said: "You feel just like my gloves."
Then she yawned.

A clerk approached Timea, looking over her with a similar expression of curiosity as the last person she had spoken with, before saying, "How can I help?"

"Exactly. It still requires some practice to be a master, but anyone can start." the guard replied. He held up his hand, which was holding his metal hand, to indicate he already had it. "Get what?" he asked, in case Robin was referring to something else.

"Interesting... Where did you learn?" Robin askes, gears turning in his head. He noticed the guard holding the metal hand. "Oh. Nothing, sorry."

Utarra Area - Day 4 - 23:08

While Hillary's demeanor was pleasant, she was still a bit unnerved from the fighting and everything. It was visible on her 'heart' of sorts. However when Anik gave Hillary the thoughtful hug, it seemed to dispel nearly all of those feelings. Similar to how Hillary had felt lonely when she'd left Timea that one time after the first meeting with Anik and later she felt better when she was reunited, so too did she feel better now with the hug. Hillary didn't say anything for a good few moments, but when Anik told her she felt like a glove, Hillary looked down at herself. "I guess I am." Hillary giggled quietly, squeezing her hands as she looked at the various stitches flex across her knuckles.

Now that Hillary was looking at her surroundings more, she spotted Timea. "Anik, who's that with Timea's blanket?" Hillary asked, not recognizing Timea initially given her scaly appearance.

Sibylla was following along with Anik and Hillary, figuring it was best to not get separated from them. Since the two were very pointedly not paying her any attention, on account of both of them reasonably hating her, pretty much the only indication she was still around was the constant, low-pitched groaning she gave off, and occasional complaint that there wasn't any food in the immediate vicinity she could shove down her greedy gullet. "Kin ah eat that?" She asked as she pointed at Timea sitting in the ditch, also not recognizing her, though for different reasons other than appearance, obviously. "If'n nobudy sez nuthin' ah'm gunna et it."
The boat ride was probably not terribly kind to her, as she was looking noticeably more slender than usual. Not that anyone in the immediate vicinity would notice, as they either hated her guts or were asleep.

She was obviously fairly frayed around the edges, her hair and clothes messier than usual, and had thick bags under her eyes. For the moment she was wearing the cloak she had been given, assuming the animal folk would have her lynched for trying to bite their style or whatever with her ears and tail.

Luminara impatiently waited to talk to the guard. [color=FF0080]"You're supposed to be a bit more entertaining, that's for sure."[/color] She answered Cybil.

The employer was looking out his window sitting in his chair annoyed with a annoyed expression "I feel like my men don't know what I hate him for."

I?m sorry how hard is it to get a dinosaur from an old geezer, a blindfolded woman, Batman sidekick, the floor, two little girls, two layabouts, a bird, a mentally damaged knight and an insane man wearing a bicycle helmet! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH? yell before smashing his desk. "get over there and do not fail me

Utarra Area - Day 4 - 23:08

Anik was kind of shocked by nobody recognizing Timea, until she thought it over. "No, you can't eat that! That's Timea!" she said, assuming Sybilla meant Timea. She let Hillary loose, clicked and walked over to where her bag was stored. "I'm sorry, I did not even ask if you needed something." she said. Searching through her bag, she brought forth supplies fit for an evening meal: Bread, Cheese, Meat, and wine. She carefully placed it on the ground. "You can eat what I have left, for now. Tomorrow we should go hunting again."

She yawned again. "I have to keep watch, so we can play a game, or something. What do you want to do?" she asked both of the girls.
