Utarra Area - Day 5 - 07:14

"I know." Anik said weakly. "I did not want for you to see this." While she did not take down her hands, she also showed no resistance to Timea trying to move them out of the way.

Timea would not be able to see much, as Aniks eyes, and her lacrimal glands, were still covered by her blindfold. She would only see the blindfold darkened at the bottom side, and the trail of blood, like a trail of tears, running down her cheeks, into the corners of her mouth and beyond.

"I must never cry." Anik said, very quietly.

"She's just a persona you made?" Robin asked. "Why not craft a new one, reinvent yourself?"

 

[Slenn]

EMily was huddled in silence, folding her knees against her face.
"Damnit..." She said in a muffled voice against the fur of her coat.

Winona made a sad sigh and brought herself over to EMily, who was sniffling.
"I completely screwed up. I thought I could handle myself under those conditions and I couldn't."
<color=green>"Oh dear... don't be so hard on yourself. These abilities are completely new to you, and you didn't mean to harm anyone." She said calmly over the emotional stress.
"But I ended up hurting people, anyway!" She said, raising her voice, tears streaming. "These abilities were taught to me by Markus, a person who was claimed to be the legendary healer and psychic, and could cure mental disabilities with his thoughts alone! I thought I could handle it since I was already experienced with using non-mental abilities in Photon Form as well as experience with biofeedback. And apparently was wrong." Her face was now encapsulated by her knees and her arms shrouding her head, but not before pounding her right fist on the ground.

"Damnit..."

Utarra Area - Day 5 - 07:14​

Timea blew a small sigh as she looked Anik's face over. She didn't say anything in response to Anik softly spoken statement, not hearing what exactly had been said.

"This can't be good. ... I'll need to see what's causing this", Timea mentioned, moving her hands to the blindfold, and hooking her index fingers beneath it, at the bottom. If she wasn't stopped, Timea would lift the blindfold up.

"Was she... Based off someone?" Robin asked.

Utarra Area - Day 5 - 07:14

Timea was not stopped, although Anik had a body posture like she did not want this to happen at all. Still, Timea would be able to see what was underneath.

From a first glance, Anik's eyes just looked like they were permanently closed, as her eyelids were down, and did not move at all. Under the new blood, trickling down under her eyelids, there was still a crust of old blood, probably from a few times where tears were about to be shed, but were not. If Timea would look really closely, she could notice that her eyelids were not elevated, like they would be, if there were eyes underneath.

"Now you know." Anik said, as powerless as say can be.

Utarra Area - Day 5 - 07:15​

Timea was observant, and did notice the shape of an eyeball being missing. Noting this, Timea recoiled, not so much by what she saw, but the thoughts that came where she wondered how Anik lost her eyes. Recomposing herself, Timea shook her head. "How long has this been this way?" she questioned.

Utarra Area - Day 5 - 07:15

"It's been ... 15 years?" Anik said, answering very shortly, and only exactly what she was asked, to block out every memory from around this time that was not the subject of a question. All strength having left her limbs, for now, she just sat there, like a broken puppet.

Utarra Area - Day 5 - 07:15​

At Anik's answer, Timea thought for a moment, wondering why, after that time, the wound still hadn't healed. Thinking something abrasive might be stuck in the empty eye sockets, Timea asked "Can you open your eyes?"

While concerned for Anik's physical well being, Timea felt very little pity, and did nothing to try lift Anik's spirits.

 

[Silence]

Utarra Area - Day 5 - 07:15

"What eyes? And no." Anik answered, the second part answering the actual question, if she could lift her eyelids.

Utarra Area - Day 5 - 07:16​

"I didn't know how else to say it", Timea admitted, a little more sympathetically. After this, she paused, and continued speaking more factually. "I might be able to stop the bleeding, but without being able to see what causes it to begin with, the treatment stops at that."

After giving the report, Timea pouted her lips, and shone a bean of sunlight onto Anik's face, speeding up Anik's natural healing processes by a factor of 50.

"She's certainly that..." Robin noted.

Utarra Area - Day 5 - 07:16

"I don't bleed if I don't cry." Anik said, thinking Timea a little bit slow-witted, as she seemingly did not notice the connection between the crying and the blood, and as she probably could have lifted the eyelids herself. But not really wanting this to happen, Anik did not mention it.

The healing process would lead to the blood to become a crust, which did probably look pretty creepy. As her body was built this way for 15 years, a natural healing process would do nothing to close up the original cause of blood tears. And Anik suspected this, but did not mention it more.

At least the fake sunbathing felt good, and Anik stopped crying.

 

[Slenn]

<color=green>"C'mon EMily, get yourself up. You want to at least make up to her."
EMily did so slowly. Her arms were folded over her stomach as if she was about to vomit. She wasn't though, but she felt nauseous from the guilt of the whole ordeal. When EMily came over, she didn't face her since she didn't want to startle her again.

"Hey ummm... I apologize. I didn't quite know what to expect. I was given death threats, and I thought I could handle the situation in Photon Form. I didn't expect a reaction of great magnitude. And now I have a lot to learn."

Madeline didn't respond to EMily at first, but did flicker briefly. She struggled to her feet and stood facing EMily, though looking away from her. [color=FF0080]"I should be the one to apologize. I know I brought this on myself. But I can't just... forgive what you did to me. Not yet."[/color]

"If you weren't yourself, I see no reason to apologise." Robin said to EMily and Madeline.

Utarra Area - Day 5 - 07:16​

At Anik's comment, Timea let out a soft "hmm", thinking there had to be more to it than that. After shining the sunlight onto Anik, she did nothing for a moment, she did nothing, only checking if the bleeding had stopped. Once she had confirmed this, she said "I'm not sure that's all there is to it, but it's something for another time to check. But, the bleeding has clotted, and that's all I can do, for now", she reported. She had thought to try and lift the eyelids, herself, but with the crusts being in place, thought doing so would do more harm than good, and elected to wait until they fell off.

"Now, back to the original matter... I'm not going to forgive you because you're sorry. This is not so easily forgiven. ... But, you too, deserve a second chance. And I'll try to help you conquer these... urges, in the future.", she commented, leaning back, and blowing a sigh at the end of her sentence. "What do you feel, when this bloodlust comes over you?"
