Utarra Area - Day 5 - 07:26​

"There isn't really enough burnable material around here to get a good fire going, so we'll skip that part for now. You can use the fire on the knife you have", Timea commented, then blew a soft sigh. "I honestly don't like relying on... magic this much, but options are ever so limited around here."

 

[Silence]

Utarra Area - Day 5 - 07:26

"Alright." Anik said, and took out her knife. She then held her hand out, so Timea could place the meat there.

Cybil was still just groaning and unresponsive on account of still having her face smashed in.

Sibylla groaned impatiently as she waited for Timea and Anik to cook enough meat for her to eat. "Ya'll use magic all tha time though?" She commented to Timea, confused by her statement.

 

[Slenn]

She sighed out of disappointment.
"So I see... Well, despite what you tell me about long term effects, there will be a great deal more that's learned in just a few decades." She gave a witty smile. "Don't ever doubt the human imagination and the cornucopia of things it can discover through science. If you ever get back to to your world, remember there's so much more in the universe than magic. And you have that power to change the situation for the better." She said heartily.

She certainly looked a whole lot happier and bolder.

Utarra Area - Day 5 - 07:26​

Timea looked to Anik's hand as she extended it, a bit confused what she wanted, at first, but it dawned on her quick enough. "Oh, you would better sit down next to the meat, and hold the knife over it, moving it back and forth. There's too much of it to just handle, in-hand", she pointed out.

Looking to Sibylla, Timea was about to comment on her groaning, when Sibylla spoke. "What? No I do not, Sibylla" Timea responded. "Well... I suppose I do in keeping this blanket around... , but my hand was forced, in this regard. I wouldn't even consider if the sun hadn't died."

 

[Godzillarich(aka tf2godz)]

The Doctor put Cybil down on the ground put some pieces of wood and rocks on the ground and used his screwdriver to create a little campfire. "don't worry I made this campfire so it won't burn down your establishment" the doctor told the innkeeper. The doctor then looked at Cybil "are you okay?"

 

[Silence]

Utarra Area - Day 5 - 07:26

"Oh. Right." Anik said, and clicked a little bit, to find the position of the meat. She felt it as well, memorizing the position, so she would not roast snow instead. She then used the dagger as told, moving it back and forth above the meat. She did this until she thought the smell indicated it was ready.

While doing so, she listened to the conversation about magic, wondering herself what Timea would consider magic, and what not, as her natural abilities seemed to be magic at first glance.

"Today we have to walk on top of a mountain, did I get this right?" she asked, in between. And after the smell of the meat made her mouth water, she said: "Is the meat ready, now?"

The innkeeper stared at the Doctor making a campfire inside a wooden building filled with people and alcohol, then walked out and stamped the fire out. "Get out of my inn. And you should probably find a healer for your friend."

Femesh Daer

The sounds of machinery that were, indeed, unfamiliar to the people of Femesh Daer attracted their attention, though none of them did anything about it, as they assumed whoever was in there was doing something supported by the military. A pair of guards assigned to the building would have a look inside out of curiosity, however.

"where can I find one." the doctor asked.

Robin tolled his eyes at the Doctor making a fire, then stepped up to the inn owner. "Sir, I deeply apologise. We've had a long, tiring, confusing day and our friend was in the snow for quite a while. I can offer compensation if you would like."

 

[Chungus]

Utarra Area - Day 5 - 07:27​

"We won't have to climb it, no. The shrine is built at the foot of the mountain. But, the area would be more jagged than it is around here, I think", Timea answered. "Although I don't know this for certain, I didn't take a good look when arriving."

When asked if the meat was ready, Timea turned off the flames of her blanket, and crouched down besides the pieces, making a cut in them to see how they looked beneath the surface. After checking, she answered, "The sides are, but the thickest parts of it will need to go for a little longer. You can cut these for Sibylla and yourself, though. I'll finish my piece, myself."

 

[Furioso]

The guards would see the golem robot, looking the same as usual, but the smaller robot that Yeager had first demonstrated to Caedryn was next to it, noticeably different. Before, the golem robot dwarfed the crab-like robot, but now the crab like one was nearly the same height, with its arm and leg components looking much more bulky than before, especially the legs, which had brown pillar type objects sticking out of the "tops" of them. On the head of the crab-bot, where Yeager had before mentioned there was a lot of room to work with, was a strange tower that moved independently of the lower body.

Yeager was standing next to it, gleefully walking around the robot, inspecting it.

Utarra Area - Day 5 - 07:27

"Good. Should not take too much time, then." Anik said. "At least I got the right shoes, now."

"Alright." Anik said as she was told to cut the meat. She first wanted to hold the meat with her hand, to cut it, but her reflexes set in shortly after she moved her fingers there. "Damnit!" Anik called out, but was quick to cool her fingers in the snow, preventing more problems. She then proceeded to cut the meat in slices with her knife, which led to all of them getting a good roast inside.

Being done, she said: "Sibylla, you can come over. We are ready to eat." before carefully pronging one piece for herself. She proceeded to blow against it, trying to cool it off a little.

Cybil still didn't seem very interested in talking. If one had to hazard a guess as to why, it might have something to do with how her face looked like it was in excruciating pain.

"Ah mean like how ya'll turn inta birds and make sunlight and whatnot." Sibylla replied to Timea. Hearing food was available, she quickly slithered to Anik and accepted what was offered. She wolfed the meat down with little regard to how hot it was.

Utarra Area - Day 5 - 07:28​

Timea watched with some minor concern to Anik's hand as she cut her fingers, but did nothing, finding the injury wasn't severe enough to warrant her help.

Once Anik finished cutting the meat, Timea ignited the flames of the blanket again, and continued the roasting for herself. "Remember, Sibylla - don't eat so fast. It's not good for you", she called out on seeing how Sibylla ate, then tied the blanket back around her hips, and began cutting the meat for herself. "To answer your question; What I do isn't magic, it's a natural ability. No unnatural outside force is required, it comes as natural as breathing. ... Why, most of it is breathing."

"I don't need your money, I need you to get out." the innkeeper said, before giving the Doctor directions to a healer.

One of the guards entered the building, while the other stayed outside, and approached Yeager, staring at the crab-bot curiously.

Utarra Area - Day 5 - 07:28

Sibylla would have most of the meat for herself, as Anik did only eat the one slice, which was fat enough. Anik listened to the conversation while slowly eating, wondering about how Timea did breath all kinds of elements. Which led to an idea she would say when she was finished with her meal.

"Timea, did you touch sky metal before?"

Robin sighed, noting the directions for the healer and leading the group out, scanning the city and heading that way.
