As Timea flew over the lake, she would see a group of seals on the edge of the ice. As she got closer, she would spot a hole in the ice, and a few seals swimming in the water underneath it.

Pelanna Area - 18:25​

Timea noticed the glow of Anik's fire out of the corner of her eye, and turned her head to look closer. Seeing there weren't three flashes, however, knew it wasn't anything she needed to return for, and so went on.

Flying further, Timea noticed the seals, and spent a moment looking curiously at them, not sure what to make of them. While looking, she banked to the side to avoid passing over them. After, she focused again, and flew so she would come down in-between the largest collection of the seals on the ice, and the hole. She then dived at them, trying to snatch two of them up in a swoop when low enough to do so.

The cube would be unable to classify Cybil, her genetic material being far too bizarre to compare to nearly anything else.

After The Doctor fell over unconscious, she clicked her tongue and started walking off, once again resuming her search for any way to possibly kill time in the town.

Robin noted the cube's results, then levitated the Doctor behind him and followed Cybil.

Veketta - Day 6

Robin would be able to find a smith's shop, now visibly open, in the commercial area of the city. As he walked around, the floating, unconscious Doctor would get him a few strange looks.

Cybil would find a few inns and bars, and a variety of shops and stalls whose wares she could browse.

Timea would be able to successfully grab on to two of the smaller seals. As she got close, she would be able to estimate the seals to be between 2 to 4 metres in length, and when attempting to lift them would find them to weigh around 1000kg each.

Pelenna Area - Day 6 - 18:27​

Timea was happy to get a good catch, pleasantly surprised by how heavy the seals were. Due to the amount of meat on them, Timea considered letting one of the seals go, but decided against it, as keeping them both meant she wouldn't need to hunt again, the next day. The encumberment of dragging one of the corpses around, Timea considered worth the effort.
The days of going by on sub-optimal amounts of food had weakened her, but Timea could still manage flying both seals away without much more trouble than being slowed down.

With the fire hurting the seals, Timea put them out of their misery as she flew, by forming a hole in her foot, and shooting out a small lightning stream on the seal held therein, repeating the process with the other seal once the first was put down.

Some three minutes after leaving Anik, Timea returned to her, slowing down on the descent, dropping her catch nearby, then landing on the road. She let out a "phooh!" and returned to her reptillian humanoid form. "That turned out to be ever the catch!" she announced happily.

Pelenna Area - Day 6 - 18:27

"That was fast!" Anik exclaimed, surprised. "Now, what have you caught?" she asked, interested. "Something heavy, it sounds like."

Robin noticed the odd looks, and decided to move the Doctor closer to himself so it would appear he was carrying the unconscious Time Lord. He entered the now open smithy, looking over the available armour.

Pelenna Area - Day 6 - 18:27​

"Come feel it, they have quite the meat on them", Timea answered, moving closer to her catch, but not so much that the heat would start to sear them more. "And I got more than one, too! I did really get lucky, today. With this catch, I won't need to go hunting again, tomorrow."

 

[Silence]

Pelenna Area - Day 6 - 18:27

"Nice." Anik said, happily, as she would have asked to feel it herself, if Timea had not said it. She moved towards Timea and the catch, took off her gloves and started to feel a seal.

"My, that's a big mass. Where's the head, even?" she asked.

Pelenna Area - Day 6 - 18:27​

If she felt over the seal's back, Anik would feel the texture of the thick skin being different, burned by heat. A second, localised burn may also be felt, this being the electrical burn from being electrocuted.

"Further to your right, Timea answered, looking at Anik feeling the shape of the seal. "These were strange creatures. They look like they belong in the sea - having limbs like a fish I caught earlier - but I caught these on the ice. I don't really understand why they would do that.

Do you have clue as to why this is?"

 

[Silence]

Pelenna Area - Day 6 - 18:27

Anik did indeed feel over the back, and at least assumed some of it was burning, although she did not know what else was natural, and what not.

When Timea said that the head was further right, Anik felt it, indeed wondering herself about the strange creature, which did not seem to have a neck, but had a beard. Stroking the beard a little, she said: "Maybe these are the seals? But I don't know why they would look like this, either.

Maybe they are part time on land and part time in the water?"

She kept on feeling, finding the front fins.

Pelenna Area - Day 6 - 18:28​

"That has to be it. I can't really see why, though. It couldn't be for food... ", Timea commented, and soon after, followed it up by saying, "oh well. Speaking of food, I'm going to start preparing one of these."

Walking over to the seal Anik wasn't feeling the shape of, Timea gave a silent prayer to her prey, beginning to gut it, there after. "Are you still hungry, Anik? You can have some, if so. There is enough."

 

[Silence]

Pelenna Area - Day 6 - 18:28

"Why? Maybe they do eat fish?" Anik said.

When Timea stated she could have some, Anik exclaimed: "Oh! I forgot the last parts of rabbit near the fire. Shouldn't I eat this before?" She stood up, and went back to the fire, finding it by sound. She felt for the rabbit parts, and found them after a while of searching.

"I hope it is not burned." she stated.

Since there was apparently nothing else in the town to do that she didn't find utterly reprehensible, Cybil browsed the wares of every single shop.

Pelenna Area - Day 6 - 18:28​

"Yes, you should. Never waste any food", Timea answered Anik's second question, answering the first while Anik was searching for where she left the hare. "They almost certainly do eat fish, their breath smelled like it. And they have pointed teeth. But they couldn't get food on land, moving like they do, which is what I meant."

When Anik mentioned she hoped her meal hadn't burned, Timea stopped what she was doing, and looked to it to judge what kind of state it was in.

 

[Silence]

Pelenna Area - Day 6 - 18:28

The rabbit skin was very dark on the one side, while the other side was not really cooked. Anik tried to feel it, but could not really make out enough of a difference to say for certain, because of the heat. She also sniffed it, which led to similar results.

"I need some expert eyes here." she said, and held some parts up, to show them to Timea.

"Anyways ... maybe they like it on land? Or the water is too cold, long-term?" she added to Timeas speculation, while Timea was looking.

Pelenna Area - Day 6 - 18:29​

"Hmm. No, that's still perfectly edible. At most, the skin will be a bit on the crunchy side. However, the side currently facing away from you is still undercooked", Timea pointed out, returning to the gutting work afterwards. "For the future, if you're not side when something is ready, you can cut a bit off to "see" what it's like under the surface."

After saying this, Timea paused, to indicate a different subject. "But, yes. Both of your theories are plausible. Whatever the case, I wonder if some of these creatures were turned into Vesh'Rah, too."

 

[Silence]

Pelenna Area - Day 6 - 18:29

Anik wrinkled her nose when she was told she might have to try badly cooked food, but, like so often, did not complain, thinking she had no choice after all. She sat herself down, holding the part Timea had said was undercooked towards the fire.

"Well, there are a lot of strange creatures. But do you think these could even be turned into human-like people? With the ... things they have for hands. What was it, that the Vesh'Rah looked like? Wolf, Bear and Fox? Did not someone tell you about all the types? Or ... they also said that the moon goddess created people from all the animals here, right?

... so I don't know, at all. We might find out, later."

Pelenna Area - Day 6 - 18:30​

"It seems unlikely, but I don't rule it out. Stranger things have happened. The types are wolf, bear, aa type of cat I don't recognise, and another. This last one may be a fox, I don't know. I've never heard of that name, before.

But speaking of what we may learn, I think I saw a glimpse of what the Goddess wanted us to find, on the way here. It was lines of differently coloured lights in the sky, and where the lights met, I could see moving images."
