Anik thought while listening to Timea, realising what she had said a second after wanting to answer: "You don't know what a fox is? ... wait, what? Moving images? Why did you not tell me? This could be important!"

Her voice sounded quite upset.

Timea stopped what she was doing, and looked to Anik with a somewhat confused expression, not expecting Anik to react the way she did. "Because I'm hungry, and wanted to secure a meal, first. Besides, the site is still a distance away. We should rest before travelling further. Going there will have to wait."

"But you said you already saw something! What did you see?

You could have just told me that. I can wait for us to find more, and to go there, but ... you could have just told me what you saw."
Anik said, first sounding more upset, but then trailing off, more tired.

She sniffed on the rabbit meat, and bit in it, only to find out she needed to wait a little bit longer. "Annoying." she commented.

Timea was quiet for a moment, then blew a small sigh. "You are right, I should have. I'm sorry. It wasn't very thoughtful", she said sincerely, then paused before answering Anik's question. "I could see what looked like a battlefield, and people using magic to create storms and blazes. I didn't see the features of the people, however. The last thing I saw in them were large sailing ships, warships, most likely."

"Thank you." Anik said, her voice still sounding a little down. She waited for a bit, thinking, then said: "Maybe it showed what happened to the original sun god, Calibeth? His ships going down. And it's also good to know that they mostly fought with magic. Water and ... storm magic. Does that exist?"

She tried the meat a second time, this time deeming it good enough. As she ate, she turned her head towards Timea. "I just don't like being excluded from something like that."

"Hmm? Original? ...There were multiple Calibeths? Where ever did you hear this?" Timea questioned, continuing the gutting work, finishing shortly after speaking. Collecting the guts, Timea took the stomach and entrails, moving a short distance away from the seals to empty their contents.

She didn't respond to Anik's last comment, but felt fairly ashamed.

"I meant his descendants, which seemed to have kept the sun on the sky, even though Calibeth himself was missing. And does apparently not live, as the death of the crown prince was enough to bring the sun down." Anik explained.

She finished eating, throwing the bones of the rabbit behind her, still with some angry force.

"I did hear of lights in the northern skies before, where I came from. I did not know they could show pictures, though."

Veketta - Day 6

Robin would find very little in the way of armour in the shop, most of it being gauntlets and other arm protection, with a few helmets made for Vesh'Rah heads.

[hr]

Cybil would find various types of food in the shops and stalls, ranging from fruits and vegetables, to meats and even a variety of baked goods such as small cakes, with moon-like designs on them. She would also find jewelry, both sky-metal and normal metal, bone charms, wood carvings and so on.

[hr]

The clan leaders looked up at Broodwing, then sighed, one of them quietly saying, "First humans and now this... thing? What is going on here?"

Broodwing would see that the brown wolf had returned, though he remained quiet.

Robin picked up one of the metal gauntlets, testing its weight, then looked to the smith. "How much for a gauntlet or some custom work?"

Cybil, still being in a very bad mood, decided to buy some cake, hoping it might help make her forget how much she hated pretty much everything about her life at the moment. Then she ate her cake.

"Are you sure?" Timea asked, a little confused. "That doesn't really match with what we know. The sun had to be Calibeth Himself, as when it fell, I saw a metallic sphere where it had landed. This was almost certainly sky-metal, which we know to be the remains of dead gods. Rather than vanishing, I think it's more likely Calibeth simply retreated to the skies, after this naval battle."

Veketta - Day 6

Robin would find that the gauntlet was clearly fitted for Vesh'Rah which, due to the various physical differences between them and humans, would not fit him, or any human. "The price of custom work depends on what you want." the smith stated, glancing up at Robin.

[hr]

The cake would probably help Cybil feel better, due to it being fairly sweet.

[hr]

"We don't need your help." one of the bears replied.

"We had this metal sphere. But ... I did not think of it as truly a god. If you think of it exactly this way - maybe you are right. So you mean he got back into the sky, but his descendants still made sure that he did stay there?

Maybe my speculation was false, then. I do not really understand what is going on with the gods. Et did not seem to be made out of sky metal, though. I ... just had thought of this theory as false."

"But ... thinking about it, your version does make more sense." Anik said, confused as well.

Timea was surprised the orb was able to be retrieved, having expected it to be under a mountain of rubble after the temple collapsed.

"Well, you don't look like you're made out of bone, but you do have them. A similar principle could apply to the gods", Timea stated more jovially, but continued to speak with a normal tone, afterwards. "But yes, I do think this is how it went. Obviously, I couldn't say for certain, and we may never know, now. I question how relevant this naval battle was in the great scheme of things, however."

After clearing the stomach and entrails of waste contents, Timea walked back to the rest of the organs, and began roasting them. After a moment of this, Timea asked, "Say. What were the Fennyr and elves like? How did they live?"

"If you saw it, maybe it is quite relevant, and we will find out more. I thought about this before." Anik said.

Leaning back, feeling comfortable lying in the snow, she started to tell about the elves: "We went to a huge ... no, mountainous tree, where some elves lived on the ground. They said they had been banished, or at least their ancestors. I do not really know how they did live, I think they had to hunt for food, or grab what fell from the tree.

After drinking some weird potion, we were able to climb up inside the tree - this took a long time. The elves up above only ate what the tree ... their god ... gave to them. They seemed to have lived quite well, aside from that the eldest people, highest up in the tree, got a lot more food than the rest.

I do not know if they had any other conflict aside from the banished elves, which had to hunt, and even eat other elves, previously, because they did not have enough food. The rest just went out to the branches, and collected whatever was lying there, having fallen down from upper branches. They did have a kitchen, to cook the things, though.

Aside from that ... they did not really wear clothes, aside from some leaves. I don't know if that is relevant. I asked about it, because I was interested."

"But what are Fennyr? I never heard the word."

Listening to Anik's retelling, Timea tried to get a mental picture of the elven city, but couldn't form a very clear one. She wasn't surprised a portion of the elves had been banished from the upper tier, having heard of a civil war back on Kaisir. At the mention of cannibalism, Timea was a little disturbed, although more about the events that lead up to it must have been like, than the act itself.

"The Fennyr are the people native to Fennwynd, the swamp in-between Calibeth, and the Whitewood Forest. There is some contact between these people and Calibethians, the latter purchasing tea from them, but I don't know what these people look like, other than that they're not human", Timea explained. "You've had to have passed through Fennwynd on the way to the forest. Did you sense any people?"
