After being answered, Timea was quiet for a bit, allowing Anik and Hillary to get more answers in, while going over information already given. While doing so, Timea glanced up to the sky, still seeing the moon, then back down to Akatarra. A little confused about this, she thought things over more, then asked, "If I might interject; Are you really here? Or is what we're seeing here like these images above us?"

"Yes, we can't grow them back. It's why we need to be careful, when cutting things. But ... alright. I'm just not used to people being able to do that.
Strawberries are little, and smell sweet, and have little dots on them. And if you bite into them, they are really soft - if they are ripe - and really really sweet. They are like candy, only that they are not made, just grow in the nature.
Oh, and they are red, I think." Anik answered Hillary.

"Alright. So ... maybe you can answer us why the god Et was not willing to give us any specific answers. I mean, we don't have much to go on right now. Not even a hint why we got here, only that it was not mortal magic. But that was something we assumed, before.
Could Calibeth have been responsible for that? Or do you know another god, who might have something to do with it? Trying to use us for something?" Anik asked the goddess.

When Anik described what a strawberry was, Hillary momentarily stopped. "Oooooh, those sound really good~" Hillary moaned. If she had been capable, she'd definitely be drooling by now. "They sound super good." With this being said, she continued her trek to the top of the glacier.

"No, I am not here. At least, not in the same way you are." Atarakka replied. "I assume Et didn't tell you things because he doesn't want you to know the answers. Calibeth bringing you here is a possibility, but I don't know if he is capable of that. The deity responsible trying to use you, however... that is almost certainly true. I can't see another reason why this would happen the way it did."

"I thought so", Timea said, mostly to herself. She glanced to Anik as she spoke, then back up to Atarakka. "He did specifically tell us to come here, and told me coming here would give some answers as to why we've been brought to this world, indirectly mentioning it's tied to your conflict with Calibeth. Why, I couldn't say, nothing we've learned here so far points toward that."

Thinking for a moment, Timea let out a "hmm", then asked, "I have a suspicion. But first; We've learned that you created the Vesh'Rah from the animals already roaming the land, but who created the animals as they were, originally?"

 

[Silence]

"But he did not contact us ... per se. Hmm.
So you think he did try to use us, and don't think he is capable of bringing us in this world. Is he allied with other gods, who might be capable of such a thing?" Anik asked.

"I don't know who, specifically, created the animals. Probably some other deity. Faotar, perhaps." the goddess said to Timea. She then replied to Anik, stating, "Both of us are allied with other deities. Whether or not they could be responsible for bringing you here, I couldn't say."

"I had the same thought", Timea said with a small nod. She waited until Atarakka had answered Anik, noting her theory on divine alliances proved to be correct, and after, asked, "Was Faotar always allied with Calibeth, or did this happen after you created the Vesh'Rah?"

Glacier - Day 7 - 07:28

"But ... you two are the most powerful gods after Et, right? So there either has to be one that has specialised in this world travelling thing, or ... Et or Calibeth did it? I don't understand!" Anik said, a little bit frustrated. "Also, are these gods countless, or could you name them, so we at least know about all of them? Gods who have an influence on this world, I mean."

"Faotar isn't allied with Calibeth at all, as far as I'm aware. And as for how many gods there are, probably more than I could count easily." Atarakka replied. "Et or Calibeth being responsible would make the most sense, to me at least."

"So the only thing we could do would be go back to Et, and ask what we can do. Which he won't tell us ...
but he said we should go here. So ... is anything here, what we can do, what would be important for this world?" Anik said, as she spread out her arms.

"Oh?" Timea began, tilting her head a little, quite surprised by the answer. "But if it's not for them being allies, why d-- ... Hmm, no, never mind. This would best be answered directly by Faotar."

Shaking her head, she asked, "I do doubt it was Calibeth that set this event in motion, however, considering it lead to His death. Unless getting people from other worlds to this one was less a deliberate act, and more throwing out a net, and hoping for the best when pulling it in. But I don't see any reason why he would be that desperate."

After saying this, Timea was quiet, and waited for Atarakka to answer Anik, though she didn't expect a major revelation to come in the answer.

Atarakka considered Anik's question for a few seconds, before replying, "What did he tell you to come here for? Maybe that can help me work out what you should be doing."

"To me, he simply mentioned going to Vesh would be continuing on the right path to figuring out why we're here. Continuing, because I suspected gods warred against one another, so it was implied that looking into this specifically was what we needed to do", Timea chimed in, adding, "I also asked if he could put a new sun in the sky - for personal reasons - To which he replied it wouldn't last with the moon being in the state it is in."

Anik thought for a while, then answered: "I did ask Et what happened, when the gods were first created. I suppose you are the best person to answer that. Do you know how and why you yourself were created? And what did happen, right after it?"

"Well, by that, Et probably meant the fact that my ability to act in the Calibethan Empire seems to be growing. Presumably, if Calibeth did return, it would be there, and I would be in a better position to defeat him. That, and some of the people of Vesh seem to be more outspoken about their desire to attack the Empire." the goddess said to Timea. She was silent as she thought over her answer to Anik, eventually saying, "The specifics, no. But I do remember forming from an infinite nothingness, alongside Calibeth. It was almost like he pulled me into existence, even though he himself was only just coming to be."

"And you two were hostile, right after? Or did something else occur, that began this conflict?" Anik added.

Since apparently nobody at all saw fit to possibly follow Cybil to the training grounds, and she didn't feel entirely confident with asking to train with random strangers, she used a practice dummy to work on her basic swordplay.

"What do you gods actually gain from extending your reach?" Timea questioned, crossing her arms.
"If you're capable of creating new lands and people at will, why even go through the trouble of taking what is already there?"

She gave no reaction to Atarakka's answer to Anik.

Robin had followed Cybil to the training grounds, wanting to examine the techniques taught there. However, he could not trai with Cybil and would probably be worse than the dummy, so he opted to sit on the sidelines and watch her instead.
