"He was hostile to me right after, yes." Atarakka replied. "We can only perform miracles and see what occurs in regions where we have control. As for why, it's about keeping the world safe. This world is, ultimately, a part of my own being, and I don't want Calibeth and his worshipers to control it. I suppose it's mostly symbolic, it doesn't actually affect our conflict after all. But I would feel bad ignoring the life that came from part of myself. Does that make sense to you?"

Glacier - Day 7 - 07:30

"So I guess ... we can only hope to get an understanding between the followers, not between the gods themselves." Anik said, half to herself. "Spreading the gospel of Et, or what have you, and try to minimize that of Calibeth ... honestly, I don't know how fit we would be for this task.

But now for a real important question: Are there strawberries on Vesh?" she added, not knowing if there was something she was missing.

As Anik spoke, Timea frowned a little at the mention of getting involved in politics, and looked quizzical at the mention of strawberries, not knowing what these were, or how it tied in to anything.

After Anik asked her questions, Timea spoke again.
"I can imagine the feeling, to an extend. I think it would be not unlike having a child", she mused, blowing a small sigh. "What you said brings up I have been wondering for a time, how, however. If a god might only see the goings on in the areas they have control over, why would Et be able to see things at all, when Calibeth had conquered that land?" she asked. "And also, if you and Calibeth are and were the brightest lights in the sky, but are less powerful than Et, why is his light so dim?" At the end of her sentence, Timea pointed up to the sky, emphasising her point.

"No, there aren't." Atarakka informed Anik. She then looked up at where Timea had pointed and said, "Et seems to work differently. I don't know how, specifically, though. That's something you'd need to ask him about."

Anik turned her head towards Hillary, and said: "Aww, I wanted strawberries."

Then she spoke between Atarakka and Timea: "These are all the questions I can think of right now."

Timea briefly glanced over to Anik as she spoke, then back up to Atarakka. "Hmm. I see", Timea responded. "I still have more questions. For one; when my companion contacted you, back in the temple, why did you instruct her to come here? And so cryptically?"

Unless there were any sort of interruption, Cybil would continue training for a couple hours. At that point she would get hungry and go off to get some food. She would then return and continue working, for lack of anything at all better to do.

"How deities can communicate with the people of the world is limited. Cryptic communication like that is all we can manage in most parts of the world, if anything. But places like this..." Atarakka made a sweeping motion with her arm to indicate the glacier and surrounding field of ice. "Somehow make it easier for us to manifest forms like this one."

Robin went up to Cybil as she resumed training. "Um... Can I ask for your help?"

 

[Drakmorg]

Cybil stopped what she was doing, pausing completely for a moment, only breathing in deeply and releasing it as a sigh. [color=9f2089]"What is it?"[/color] She asked, sounding annoyed as she held the training sword in a resting position.

"I would like to try and learn swordplay again." Robin told her. "I need to get use to melee, and you would have someone to train against."

 

[Drakmorg]

[color=9f2089]"Fine."[/color] Cybil replied. [color=9f2089]"I've got nothing better to do, and it's not like you could murder anyone with a sword that you couldn't by setting them on fire or electrocuting them. At least this way maybe you'll make people suffer less when you violently destroy them."[/color] She motioned with her head over towards the practice swords to imply she wanted him to get one and come back.

Robin cut out the middle man, grabbing one of the swords with telekenisis and bringing it over to him, shedding his coat and chainmail as it entered his hand.

Since I know absolutely nothing about actual swordplay, let's just say Cybil would teach Robin the absolute basics. She started with stance and posture before even getting to basic sword swings, refusing to move on until he had at least gotten the first part right.

"I see... . Strange. Another thing I don't understand is how this world was created. It came from your arm, but how can something that small give rise to all of this?" Timea asked, holding her arms out to the side. "More over, on its formation, was the world just barren rock, or did it had all the features seen today? And, how did other gods come from yourself?"

Robin quickly picked up the basics, but had trouble applying them for a while. He'd get there eventually though. "Where did you learn this?" he asked Cybil.

Cybil would refuse to teach Robin anything else until he had mastered practice of what she had already taught. [color=9f2089]"I just took lessons for a couple years. Nothing special."[/color] She replied.

"My body is larger than you might assume." Atarakka explained. "When it first formed, I didn't pay much attention to it. It took some time for its features to take shape. The oceans, for example, were created from the flowing blood, and that didn't cover the land instantly. As for how other deities came about from it, I don't know."

"Is this tied to your prediction?" Robin asked, repeating the basic poses until he could perform them right.

Only once Robin was capable of standing properly did Cybil start teaching him basic sword slashes, starting off with the simplest ones that could be effectively performed while standing still, or only having to take a single step. [color=9f2089]"What? No. What kind of question even is that? This is absolute basic swordsmanship."[/color]
