Village - Day 7 - 07:59
"Hmm. You could learn the theory behind it, but you shouldn't put it into practice while we still have plenty of meat, for now", Timea said, sounding mostly nonchalant about it.
She then let herself sink underwater more, pulling up a leg, and scrubbing between the toes. Once finished, Timea got a small smirk, putting the leg underwater again, and extending it to Anik, tickling at her side with the toes.
Village - Day 7 - 07:59
"We swim to catch the fish, typically. Or we just grab them through a hole in the ice." the woman explained. "The water temperature varies but, typically, yes, it's around this level. Some areas might be cooler, and others might be hotter, though."
The Ketra'Rah man then said to Timea, "It's better to learn the practice while you have food available, than when you're out of food and need to be successful to avoid starving."

Anik was about to respond to Timea, when the Vesh'Rah chimed in. So she answered instead: "Alright, thanks. You are really nice, I actually did not expect this, me being human and all." She smiled, then turned towards Timea. "Please, I want to learn. I promise I will eat what I catch, so nothing does go to waste."
As she was finished with washing everything but her face, she considered shortly, then said, to the others: "I will take my blindfold off. Don't be disturbed, please."
With that, she took it off, showing her closed eyes. Luckily she had washed her face before, so it did not show any blood. Having done that, she placed the blindfold behind her, on her other clothes, then shortly dipped her whole head into the water, coming back up some 15 seconds later. "Ahhh." she sighed deeply and happily again.

"A single unsuccessful hunt wouldn't equal starvation", Timea said in turn. She was surprised to hear the villagers swam to catch the fish, instead of using a tool of sorts. "And, a time of having little or nothing puts things into perspective, and makes a man appreciate what he has."
When Anik spoke again, Timea pulled her leg back, and looked to Anik for a moment, relenting. "Okay. I have no problems with this", she answered, after Anik finished washing her face. She then jokingly added, "But only because you said please~!" and moved closer to Anik, raising one hand above water and snapping the fingers of which, using the hand underwater to tickle Anik again.

Timea snickered at Anik's response, looking down to the surface of the water when Anik submerged herself, a small smirk on her face as she waited for Anik to resurface.
Being covered in scales, Anik's attempt to tickle Timea back wouldn't do anything. When Anik would resurface, Timea teasingly said, "no good~" and splash water onto Anik's face.

The Vetrine'Rah man shrugged, and said, "It's typically the wolves that dislike humans. Further north, it's more likely we'll have never even seen one."
"With that in mind, what type of human are you? Not northern, clearly, but... I've never seen a southerner, or anyone from Kaisir." the woman asked.
"No, but if you fail repeatedly because you don't know how, then you're in trouble. And you get weaker, which can make it harder to catch food." the Ketra'Rah man responded. "What I'm saying is, it's better to gain the skill before you need it, if possible."

Being splashed back, Timea turned her head to the side, and ineffectually shielded her head with a hand, letting out a small laugh herself at the play.
When Anik finishes, Timea moved back to the edge of the pool, and rested her arms on the ground again. "Maybe so", she said to the Ketra'Rah. "I just don't like the idea of taking a life, as just a learning exercise."
When Anik answered the Vesh'Rah, Timea rested her head on the edge, saying, "You don't very much look like the central Calibethan people, Anik. Their skin is grey, with white dots on it."

"Oh." Anik said, somewhat irritated. "I guess I forgot it when someone gave me a description ... or nobody told me, and I somehow guessed it. Wrongly.
Visual descriptions are not things I can remember well."
She smiled towards the Vesh'Rah again. "There you have it. I think I look similar to Kaisiri then, but not really the same. ... I smell differently, that I have heard. Calibetheans smell of earth, Kaisiri of water."

"My concern isn't so much the new kill goes uneaten, but more that parts of the old do; spoiling after being left in favour of the new. Although it can work the other way around, as well", Timea countered, then paused for a moment, giving a small shrug. "But, after consideration, that's not very likely. So it's fine."
Wanting to change the subject, Timea let out a playful "hmm", and asked, "Say, how about a small competition, Anik?"

"A test of strength. We position ourselves on opposite sides, with a flat surface between us, and place our an elbow on this. We then lock hands, and try to push the arm of the other down", she explained, not knowing what she suggested was called armwrestling, and so not giving the much simpler answer of just stating that.
Not expecting Anik to be capable of beating her, she suggested it just for fun.

"Armwrestling?" Anik answered, knowing exactly what Timea was talking about. "Well, I doubt I even have slightest of a chance, seeing how you can carry so much, but ... sure, why not? Where do you want to do it?"

"Is that what this is called in this language? Noted. Whatever the case, I had the idea to just do it here. I can stay in the pool, and you can lay down on your stomach, on the ground, with the blanket, so you don't freeze", Timea answered.

"Hmmm ... alright. Just a second, please." Anik said. Instead of getting out of the pool, she first took another dive into the water, feeling the ground with her hands, to get deep enough, then she came back up. She shook her hair a few times, and went through it with her fingers.
Then she got out of the pool, carefully avoiding the place where she had put her clothes, instead climbing out closer to Timea. Standing there, she quickly felt a chill, even though the temperature around the pool was still warmer than elsewhere.
She carefully turned around, so as to not accidentally trip, then said towards Timea:
"Now, where do you have put the blanket?"
