? - Day 7 - 07:55

As soon as they approached a road, Anik began her clicking again, having ceased it soon after getting off the glacier. Wanting to find the hot springs, she mainly tried to feel the temperature, and if it got warmer in one direction. If possible, she would also try to hear the water.

For a short moment she wondered if she should put on the veil, but she decided against it, wanting to wear less clothes soon anyways. And after all, it was just a village, there would hopefully not be much that could endanger them, even if there were hostilities.

Cybil had started practicing again on her own to kill time further down the range from the others.

Femesh Daer - Day 6

Rebecca began reassembling her handgun, and returned it to her holster. "I'll get to work on that now, then."

Village - Day 7 - 07:55

Anik, navigating by the temperature, would find herself heading to the western edge of the village. There, she would find the hottest temperatures coming from some pools of water and sheets of ice. They would be, for the most part, comfortably warm for her, rather than too hot for her to handle. She would also sense a few Vesh'Rah in the water.

Having seen the pools on her way to the village, Timea approached them alongside Anik. As she walked, she looked for a place where she could leave the seals, looking for a place where she could keep an eye on her supply - which could be a good distance away, given her visual range - but out of the way of any citizens.

She smelled the Vesh'Rah in the water, and said, "I smell some people in the pools. I do hope they will allow us to swim. And without a price tied to it."

"Yes, I hope so as well." Anik said to Timea. "I will try it with honesty. So ... see you in a bit, I guess. I really want to bath, now."

With that, she approached near one of the Vesh'Rah, in a hot (but not too hot) pool.
"Greetings. ... I guess you can see that we are not familiar with this place. But we have heard about these pools. Are we allowed to join you?"

"Of course, come right in." one of them replied, looking up at Anik. He then continued, "You should probably find somewhere to put your clothes down, though."

Timea would find a suitable area on the southern side of the village, where there was obviously very little foot traffic, due to the lack of footprints in the snow.

"Thank you." Anik said, smiling. "Is there a place where I could put my clothes? I thought I would just take them off right here, but I guess that's not the best option?"

"Nowhere specifically put aside, no. You could put them down where you're standing, but they might get damp from the snow. So, at the very least, you should put all of your clothes on your coat, so that's the only thing touching the snow."

"Alright." Anik said. While she really felt like jumping in, even with her clothes, she did undress slowly and carefully, for various reasons, putting her other clothes on the coat, like the Vesh'Rah had said she should. Like in other situations, she left her blindfold on.

Slowly sliding into the hot water, she let out a deep sigh, then let herself relax as much as possible, leaning her back against the edge of the pool.

After a time of being silent, she turned towards the Vesh'Rah again.
"So, thank you again, that I can use this pool. Do you often get visitors from other places?"

"A few people from the southern parts of the island come by every so often. But humans, no." a different voice responded. "What are you doing up here, if you don't mind me asking?" Anik might pick up on a slight wariness in the tone of voice.

Anik carefully considered what she would say, then answered: "We were trying to speak with the goddess. We ... are not quite from here. This world, I mean. You probably see it more in my companions. We were seeking answers, as to why we got here in the first place."

I should probably have waited for Timea to do the talking. she thought.

Taking notice of the spot, Timea dragged the carcasses southwards, and dropped them there. She had the thought to cover them in the snow, but didn't quickly realizing the snow would just melt before she would get anywhere with it.

With this done, Timea walked back to the pool, seeing Anik already in the water, glad to see there wouldn't be any problem. When she reached the pool, Timea untied the blanket. "Greetings", she said while doing so. When untied, Timea loosely wrapped the blanket around her head, like a hijab, then stepped into the water, letting out a happy sigh on doing so.

When Timea arrived, the Vesh'Rah present looked up at her, taking in her relatively unusual appearance. If Timea did the same, she would see the pool was occupied by two Ketra'Rah, one male and one female, and a male fox-like Vetrine'Rah. "I see what you mean by that." one of the Vesh'Rah said to Anik. "This must be one of your companions, I assume."

Anik smiled towards Timea, then said: "Yes, she is."
She relaxed a bit more again, then added: "It is a really nice place here. But I do wonder ... is this ice here even made out of water? It does not behave like the ice ... and water, where I am from."

Timea did look over the Vesh'Rah present, but not very carefully.

As one of them spoke, Timea wondered what Anik had said to , but answered, "that is correct" very shortly after Anik answered.

As Anik asked her question, Timea looked to the male Ketra'Rah, and asked, "yes, it is a nice place. But, if I might ask, why do you live out here? It seems ever so isolated?" She didn't actually feel much for the settlement itself, but added it, thinking it tied in to Anik's comment nicely.

While speaking, Timea began scrubbing her arms.

Cybil would just train, go off to eat, and possibly sleep for however long it would take to hear back from the Vesh'Rah leaders.

Veketta - Day 6

While Cybil was eating, she would be approached by a pair of guards, informing her that the ambassadors would be heading south at 2 in the morning, the following day, and that she should meet them at the parliamentary hall before then.

"I don't know what else it would be. It seems to be water, though." the Vetrine'Rah man said to Anik.
The male Ketra'Rah looked at Timea as he responded, "That's part of the reason why, actually. Living in the larger settlements, surrounded by farms and filled with people... we just find it a little stifling. That, and this is where most of us were raised, and so our families are here."

"I know the sentiment", Timea said with a small smile, which would likely look odd to the Vesh'Rah, due to the scaly lips not being very expressive. "But how do you sustain yourselves? I see no irrigable land, no life stock. So how do you get your food? Or lumber?"

"Alright. Where I am from, the water freezes to ice, if it is cold. But ... that does not seem to be the case here. How does it turn into water then, if not from heat?" Anik asked.

She smiled towards the other Vesh'Rah, who had answered Timea, trying to do an understanding smile.

Having relaxed in the pool for some minutes now, Anik started scrubbing herself as well, again. Tucking up her legs, she began with her toes and feet, then worked upwards. After a while, she stopped, trying to get a read on the Vesh'Rah if cleaning herself was even something she should do in this pool, or if it was purely for the purpose of relaxing.
