Utarra - Day 9 - 12:48​

With Anik starting to request additional weight, Timea looked down to her, about to grant the request, but kept herself from it when Anik changed her mind.

Once Anik finished doing the sit-ups, Timea pulled her arms back, and reverted their mass back to the default value. "Okay. Did it help you make you feel any better?" she asked.

"But it tastes good though Anik." Hillary said, letting her fingers already growing back from her eating them. "And my fingers are already growing back, so it's okay." Hillary said as she continued eating.

Anik would indeed feel Hillary was the same texture as the bread she was eating, and if she didn't know any better could have just taken some without realizing it. Hillary's body would now have a pretty spongy material, and would retain Anik's handprints for a brief time, Hillary not seeming to mind. Right before she would have removed her hand though, she'd feel Hillary's body stiffen up, taking on a different texture, which after a couple seconds, Anik would be able to determine Hillary was now wood. The change would be pretty swift, running like a wave across Hillary's body as the bread texture was removed along the way.

"Aww... That didn't last long at all!" Hillary sounded quite saddened the bread was all gone now.

Utarra - Day 9 - 12:48

"Well, my arms hurt. That's better than feeling stupid." Anik stated plainly without giving a direct answer. Her body was more relaxed now, however, even though it still had some tenseness to it, which she probably would not be able to get out of it until she was out of the city.

Utarra, Ship - Day 9 - 13:17

Anik curiously took in the sensation of Hillary switching textures, softly feeling it with her fingertips. Hearing Hillary quite saddened, she said: "Hmm ... I still have some bread left. You can have some more for now." At the same time she was quite relieved that it only lasted this short, as Hillary would not be able to overdo eating then.

Utarra - Day 9 - 12:48​

"Heh. That's better than nothing, I suppose", Timea responded. Standing up, she said, "Well, it's time to head off, then. Can you give me blanket back?"

Looking down to Anik, Timea noted most of the tenseness was gone, and wondered if it would stay the way it was, or gradually get back to what it was, before.

Vala - Day 8 - 17:03

The other guards shook their heads. "No. The walls and doors are too thick to hear through." one of the Calibethan guards stated.
"For humans, perhaps." one of the Vesh'Rah stated. "The Calibethan woman stated the royal family is in the process of preparing to dissolve the empire, due to the fundamental principle of its existence being gone. Sorcery will also be re-legalised, though that may just be a gesture of goodwill. She sounded rather pleased to meet with Vesh'Rah diplomats, too." None of the Calibethan guards present seemed too shocked by this news.
"As for agreements, it was mostly preparations for future diplomacy with the nations born out of the empire's former territories."

 

[Silence]

Utarra - Day 9 - 12:48

"Sure." Anik said, and wrapped herself out of the blanket after turning it off. Holding it out to Timea, she used one foot to locate her bag.

"So, we will meet back in Femesh Daer, I suppose? Best outside the city." she stated, to start their goodbyes for now.

Utarra - Day 9 - 12:49​

"That's right. I'll be waiting by the beach", Timea answered, after taking the blanket, in the process of tying it around her neck like a cape, but with the knot at the back.

"If you get anxious during the boat ride, I suggest doing the exercise that's a combination of stretching, and breathing, like you did earlier, or stretching a particular part of your body."

Utarra - Day 9 - 12:49

"I will." Anik said. Having located her bag, she felt for her coat, and put it back on.

"I guess I'll see you later, then." she added, and tried to poke Timea softly with one hand.

Thinking she still had some time, she began stretching herself a little already, to get the strain from the exercise out of her muscles.

Utarra - Day 9 - 12:49​

Not moving, other than moving her arms to tie a knot into the blanket, Anik was able to poke Timea. When poked, Timea smiled a little. "Safe travels. Watch out for sea monsters", she said, once she finished tying the knot, saying the second part of the sentence jokingly, although in a more dry manner than usual.

After, Timea moved to Hillary, and said her goodbyes to her, then began moving out of the city, turning on the fire as she went.

Utarra, Farms - Day 9 - 13:11​

After leaving the city, and moving to the area she had used as campsite, Timea turned into the giant bird form, covering the fire with a layer of hide again. She then took flight, flying through the trees, and moved back towards the farmland surrounding Utarra.

From as high up as her night vision would allow, Timea looked down to the farms, to see how many workers were present, and what areas had the most and least workers present.

Cybil appeared pleased by the news. Upon reaching the barracks, Cybil would immediately go to sleep, as the past few days had left her exhausted.

Femesh Daer - Day 10 - 00:30

After roughly 13 hours of sailing, Hillary and Anik arrived in Femesh Daer.

Anik, looking quite exhausted, let herself be led off the ship by Hillary, wondering, in between throbs of headache, if there were a lot of changes since she had last been here, having inspected what Yeager had done, but not having done anything about it herself.

Robin smiled. "Glad to hear things are working out well, for now at least." When they got to the barracks, he sat on a bed and started reading.

Utarra - Day 9 - 13:11

Timea would see quite a few workers in the fields, spread out relatively evenly and moving gradually away from the city. However, this meant that the areas furthest from the city walls had the fewest potential witnesses. Based on this, and past experience, Timea would locate some animals that would be easily taken.

Femesh Daer - Day 10 - 00:30

When entering the city, Anik would potentially hear the sounds of construction coming from the walls surrounding the city, and Yeager's other construction sites, as a lot of metal was being worked with. She might also pick up on a heart in the city not too dissimilar from Matilda's. A notable difference, however, would be less of a sense of justice, and a greater amount of patience.

Femesh Daer - Day 10 - 00:30

Wanting to buy some new supplies, and not knowing the way to the beach, Anik decided to head further inside the city. She took this as an excuse to investigate the strange heart she was feeling, as she was curious about a potential connection to Matilda.

If Anik were to search for the hearts of Yeagers Red Eyes, she would find that they had changed. True to his word, Yeager's promise that the changes were temporary were true. Their hearts were that of normal Calibethian people, with one difference. Where once there was a sense of loyalty to the Calibethian Empire, there was now a sense of loyalty only to Yeager.

Anik would sense the heart was in an inn near the centre of town, not too far from the jail Shara had been in, on the second floor.

While curious about what happened to Yeagers Red Eyes, Anik mostly did not have the heart to search for them specifically at this point.

She went to the inn. After hearing that it was, indeed, an inn, she was glad she could kill two birds with one stone. She asked the innkeeper for supplies, mostly cheese, bread and wine or beer, meaning a weak alcoholic beverage, she could carry in her bag. Having enough of meat for the time being, she did not buy any of it.

After asking for the way to the beach, so Hillary could take her, Anik went upstairs, and knocked on the door to Rebeccas room.

Utarra, Farms - Day 9 - 13:12​

Surveying the area, Timea spotted the best area to strike. Going into a dive, Timea quickly descended towards the far end of fields, and gradually spreaded her wings out more as she neared the ground, to slow down. When close enough to do so, Timea snatched up the largest animal she could find, then started to fly away, accelerating to 40km/h.

Slowing down when a fair distance away from Utarra, Timea killed the cow in flight, and landed in a spot in the woods where it would take someone two hours to reach going from the city, on foot.

After eating her meal, Timea took flight again, snatched up what remained of the carcass, and headed southwards, leaving Vesh. She had thought to ask Kaisiri sailors about what happened in Utaranna, but expecting Anik to do so on the ship, didn't bother.

Femesh Daer Area - Day 9 - 20:52​

Reaching Femesh Daer after a flight of four and a half hours, Timea landed on the beach, and reverted back to her default human form, not liking to be back in it very much. Certainly not feeling like forming head hair, she instead formed a soft pink hijab, with beige floral patterning at places.

With this done, and after tying the blanket around her waist, Timea buried the carcass, taking some 40 minutes, then began walking back to Femesh Daer. She noticed the drastic changes on her way, and knowing she had a lot of time to kill before the ship carrying Anik and Hillary docked, decided to see what happened.

When entering Femesh Daer from the beach, Timea would either approach the guard tower or Yeager's workshop, depending on which side she was coming from.

Day 10 - 00:33

After selling Anik the various types of food, all of which would be available in the inn, the innkeeper would give directions to the beach. He would also state that part of it was being used for a construction project, and so it would be unsafe to visit.

Rebecca opened the door to her room, and looked down at Anik, a little surprised to receive a visitor. [color=446ccf]"Uh... hi. What is it?"[/color] she asked, obviously sounding confused.

Femesh Daer - Day 9 - 00:33

Anik guessed that it was Yeagers construction project, and wondered what Timea thought of it when she saw it.

When standing before Rebecca, Anik scratched her head, suddenly more unsure of what she was doing in the first place. "Uh ... greetings. My name is Anik. I was wondering ... do you know someone called 'Matilda'?"

Her mind was working on how to explain that she went straight to Rebecca without telling her about the heart sense, which was not very easy with her head throbbing the whole time.
