"You did nothing wrong." Anik stated plainly. "This is all my fault.

... I guess violence is really not the way. But what else could I do? I hate this."

She clenched her first really hard, her nails digging into her skin. "How do I channel this anger? I really feel like punching something."

Camp, Day Seven, 5:40
Quan Chi sighed, thinking Shara to be short sighted and ungrateful, before beginning his own meditation to regain his power after hours of heavy spells.

Utarra - Day 9 - 12:41​

Hearing Anik's reply, Timea closed her eyes momentarily, feeling somewhat ashamed, and that she didn't handle the situation well, even if Anik said otherwise. At Anik's last comment, Timea opened her eyes again, a small, sheepish smile coming to her face, knowing very familiar with the feeling.

"Whenever I feel angry, I do the first breathing exercise I taught you: Breathe in through your knows, count to five, then breathe out through your mouth. Repeat this as many times as necessary", she explained. "This being a conscious action, it helps clear your mind."

She noticed Anik's nails breaking her skin, but did nothing about this.

 

[Silence]

Utarra - Day 9 - 12:41

"Always the breathing!" Anik sighed out loud, a little bit annoyed. She however did as told, breathing in and out.

Doing this for something like two minutes, she finally stopped. "Damnit." she said, but with a lot less anger in her voice.

"I guess it helped, but I don't exactly feel great now, either." she stated.

Utarra, Docks - Day 9 - 13:15

Some fifteen minutes before the ship would set sail, Anik and Hillary moved on it. After searching for the most secluded spot at the front of the ship and sitting there for a while, Anik asked a sailor for something to eat.

Utarra - Day 9 - 12:43​

"That's probably going to stay for a while, I'm afraid", Timea stated after Anik finished the breathing exercises. She was quiet for a moment, then asked, "hmm. Shall we go through the exercise routine, and make it more intensive? Maybe getting the blood flowing like that will make you feel better."

 

[Silence]

Utarra - Day 9 - 12:43

"Again?" Anik asked. "Well, sounds good enough to me."

With that, she got on the ground again to do push-ups. "Put as much weight on me as you can." Anik said, not considering that it might be quite impossible for her to move if Timea actually put all her weight on her.

Utarra, On dat Boat! - Day 9 - 13:16

Hillary would have followed along with Anik, looking at all the people that were coming along on the boat, happy to see more people. She'd follow Anik to the secluded place she'd found at the bow of the ship, but wasn't entirely happy she was away from all the other people. "Hey Anik, do you just want some quiet sleepy time or something, why didja go all the way over there?" Hillary asked, not accusing but more just wanting clarity.

Utarra - Day 9 - 12:43​

"That would crush you, so let's not make it quite that extreme", Timea answered, wondering if Anik said this due to a clouded mind, or actually not realizing how heavy she was. Not saying anything further, Timea crouched down besides Anik, and shifted the mass in her arm, spreading this out across her torso. She did it somewhat slowly, finishing by the point Anik had done five or so push-ups.

When finished, Timea laid her forearm across the length of Anik's back. Having made it heavier than the last time, it weighed some 40kg. "Tell me when you want me to change the weight."

Vala - Day 8 - 17:03

After almost an hour and a half, the diplomats emerged from the office, looking considerably more relaxed and a little surprised. They would then be led by Calibethan guards to some rooms in the building, obviously used by the higher ranking members of the military or members of the royal family. Cybil and Robin, as well as the Vesh'Rah guards, however, would be given directions to the barracks after seeing where the diplomats would be staying.

Utarra - Day 9 - 12:16

The sailor would get Anik some bread and meat for her to eat. If Anik asked about the cost, he would tell her food was free for people on board.

Utarra - Day 9 - 12:43

"Of course." Anik said, not caring that she was contradicting herself. When feeling Timeas arm on her back, Anik did some twenty push-ups, and even though she already began to sweat, said: "More. Put more weight on me."

Utarra, Ship - Day 9 - 13:17

"I just can't deal with all of these people right now." she said, smiling towards Hillary. "I feel kind of exhausted. But if you want to sing a song with the sailors or something, you can do it. I will just stay here for now."

After, she thanked the sailor for bringing her food, and ate it slowly, enjoying the bread especially, after not having eaten something like it for days.

Utarra - Day 9 - 12:44​

Timea did as requested, and shifted more mass back to her arm, bringing the weight up to some 70kg, over the course of three seconds. Although not very noticeable with the scaled hide, and especially with Anik's mindset at the time, Anik might feel movement happening under the hide, as the mass was added.

When finished, Timea placed her free hand on her, watching the strain in Anik to judge how well she took the weight, having some doubts Anik knew her own limits.

"Okay, well I'll stick with you for now, and maybe in a bit I'll go talk with some of the nice sailors." Hillary said as she watched Anik nom the bread. "It looks like you're really enjoying that though!" She mused, happy to see Anik enjoying herself.

 

[Silence]

Utarra - Day 9 - 12:44

Anik struggled a bit to lift the full 70 kg, but managed to do it after a few seconds. Not wanting to stop, instead planning to exhaust herself, she started doing more push-ups, even making grunting noises while doing so because of the strain.

She did this until either her arms gave out under her, and she plumped on her belly, or until Timea stopped her from going this far.

"Alright, thanks." Anik said, with a bigger smile, in between chewing. "Yes, it's really nice to have some bread again, instead of just meat. Can you actually taste this? I wonder what would happen if you ate some bread."

"Well I can't really taste stuff when you got it Anik." Hillary giggled softly, but moved closer to the bread Anik had. "Well I'd probably turn into the bread if I ate it, but if it's little I could probably change faster." She stated, looking at it more closely. "It looks pretty good~"

Utarra - Day 9 - 12:46​

Watching Anik continue to push herself further, Timea felt stronger Anik would wear herself down, instead of stopping at a sensible point, knowing for certain when she would start to turn red, and her arms started trembling. Still, she didn't stop Anik from pushing herself to the point of exhaustion. With there being little chance of it resulting in something dire when she would board the boat, Timea decided that the pains Anik would feel later would make for a good lesson in the value of knowing limits.

Looking to Anik carefully, Timea managed to keep her arm up as Anik collapsed. Lowering the arm, Timea let Anik have a minute to catch her breath, then asked, "Shall we continue with the rest?"

As she spoke, Timea felt her stomach rumble again, opting to leave and go steal something to eat, soon.

Robin looked pleased as the diplomats came out with none of them dead. As they were escorted to the barracks, he asked the others "Did anyone hear what they agreed on?"

 

[Silence]

Utarra - Day 9 - 12:46

Even though Aniks head was bright red, and she was still a little out of breath, even after a minute, she answered: "Yes ... Let's do it. I don't need my arms for the rest."

With that, she turned on her back to do sit-ups. "Weight." she stated simply. When she heard Timeas stomach rumble however, she added, more concerned: "Can you still go on? I won't be mad at you when you leave to find yourself something to eat."

Utarra, Ship - Day 9 - 13:17

Anik laughed as well. "Yes, I did not mean it in this way. I wondered if you are able to taste it. But it seems you can. So - " She broke off a little part of the rest of the bread, and held it out towards Hillary. "you can have some to try. If you turn into bread ... she giggled a little, imagining it. "but can turn back fast enough, this should not be a problem."

Utarra - Day 9 - 12:46​

"I can go on for a bit longer. I'll help you do this set, but I'll be leaving, after that", Timea answered, moving behind Anik's head as she spoke, without standing up. There, she took a moment to consider what the best way to make it harder for Anik would be.

Settling on a way, Timea changed the mass on both arms around so both had some 15kg to them, shifting the rest back to her torso. Then, Timea placed her arms over Anik's shoulders, with the hands stopping a little above the collar bone.

"Okay~" Hillary said as she leaned over and took the piece of bread with her mouth. Hillary would change over to bread rather quickly from this, and wouldn't harm Anik in the process. With the bread now removed, Hillary would sit back down next to Anik and stick her fingers in her mouth, and letting out an "Mmmm."

"This bread stuff is kinda good Anik! It's not like normal food stuff, but it's better than dirt for sure, and way better than liver." Hillary cooed excitedly, smiling rather widely and continuing to eat more quickly.

 

[Silence]

Utarra - Day 9 - 12:46

With the weights on, Anik began to do the sit-ups, being able to do them quite well without it being too exhausting.

"More ..." she wanted to start, but stopped herself from saying it, mostly because of the time constraints. "Nevermind." she said, and continued onwards with the sit-ups, instead doing them as long as she could. Being done, she laid herself on the ground, not too exhausted from this exercise.

"Alright, I think this is it." she said.

Utarra, Ship - Day 9 - 13:17

"Yes, I'm sure it is better than dirt. And liver." Anik said, smiling. "It's what people here eat the most, if they have no meat." she informed Hillary as well. "It does complement most every meal."

Hearing Hillary continuing to eat, Anik first furrowed her brow, confused, then realized what Hillary was doing. "Don't eat yourself, Hillary." she stated, quite unsure if it was the right thing to say. "Or at least ... don't eat too much of yourself."

Still quite curious, she used one hand to feel Hillary's body, wondering if she had the exact same texture as the bread they were eating.
