Quan Chi heard the smiths working as he approached the city. He circled the walls, looking for a gate.

"Do you think we have enough time to do some hunting? I don't think you'll want to go without food for most part of the day", Timea asked, trusting Anik to have a better sense of time than herself. She said the second part of her sentence with more of a joking tone.

Quan Chi wouldn't have to circle the city to find a gate, since there was one at the end of the road.

Utarra - Day 9 - 12:31

"There's food on the ship." the sailor said, upon hearing Timea.

 

[Silence]

Utarra, Docks - Day 9 - 12:31

"Hmm ... you are right. We could have time ... if we are really fast and lucky. I probably could also buy something from the sailors, so this should not be too much of a problem." Anik answered. "But we probably would need to leave Hillary here - not really something I would want to do."

"Like I said." Anik added as she heard the sailor, turning back to him and smiling.

Quan Chi entered the city. Upon entering he examined the area for more of Yeager's work, and after that, he would find a guard or soldier and ask. "I heard Mages are taken here, correct? Where are they?"

Utarra, Docks - Day 9 - 12:31​

"Oh? Well, that takes care of that problem", Timea commented on hearing the sailor's statement. She hoped the food was included in the travelling costs, so Anik wouldn't be supporting any produce markets, on-top of travelling, which she wasn't fond of, either.

"Well, in that case, let's go take a walk. We don't have much else that needs to be done." With that said, Timea turned, and walked away, at a leisurely pace. While she walked, Timea frowned, feeling her own stomach rumble.

Quan Chi would be unable to enter, finding the way blocked by a pair of halberd-armed guards. One responded by telling him, "I can't tell you that."

You follow Quan Chi towards Vala, glancing up at the stone walls wearily.

"Why can we not enter?" Quan Chi asked.

"You can only enter the city if you have a reason to be here. Why do you want to enter the city?" the guard replied.

Utarra, Docks - Day 9 - 12:31

"Alright." Anik said and followed behind Timea. Hearing her stomech rumble, she frwoned as well, and said: "You sound quite hungry. Can you wait for some time still, or do you want to hunt yourself something?"

She specifically did not ask about stealing cattle, even though she thought that Timea might do so.

"I did not realise this place was so guarded. I am but a traveller."

Utarra, Docks - Day 9 - 12:32​

"I can wait for a while longer, but I can't guarantee I'll be able to hold out long enough to be there to see you two off", Timea answered. She paused for a moment, then asked, "will you be all right, Anik? On a ship with several people, for so long?"

"In that case, you can't enter the city, I'm afraid." the guard stated.

Utarra, Docks - Day 9 - 12:32

"Well, you can see us off before the ship sets sail." Anik said, cheerily. "It's not a city, just a ship. I should be able to deal with that long enough." she stated towards Timea, trying to sound more confident than she was. "I was able to deal with the village, so this shouldn't be a problem. Lucky I don't need to sleep on the ship though. Because I certainly would not be able to."

Quan Chi frowned a bit, but then left, going along the road out of the city for a while then circling the wall until he found a blind spot. Once that was done he opened a portal back to his mountain camp, heading through it with Shara behind him. He went over to his books, looking through them for a bit.

Utarra, Docks - Day 9 - 12:32​

"You're right", Timea said, a moment after Anik finished speaking. She was also talking cheerily, although this was mostly to cheer Anik on. "But baybe it will help if you stick to the front or rear end of the ship. I imagine not too many people would be moving around those ends."

After this, Timea was quiet for about a minute, then said, "Hmm. If we can find an good space, maybe we can do some late morning exercises before you two head out." Slowing down, Timea turned her head to Anik, asking, "Are you up for that?"

 

[Silence]

Utarra, Docks - Day 9 - 12:32

"I don't think the ship is big enough so that it really helps, but I will definitely try to find a secluded spot." Anik answered. "That should be possible, yes." She added, as well. "What kind of exercises do you have in mind? The standard routine?"

 

[Chungus]

Utarra - Day 9 - 12:33​

"Yes. Although I thought of a variation on your push-ups, inspired by seeing you do those handstands", Timea answered, beginning to walk to a spot she remember was reasonably secluded, while still nearby the docks. "If you stood on your hands like that, you'd have the weight of the rest of your body pushing down on you, so this should give you more of a challenge, yes?"

 

[Silence]

Utarra - Day 9 - 12:33

Anik let out a laugh. "I suppose I could try it ... but I can almost guarantee I will fall over. It's not as easy as it looks, finding the best spot for balance. And if I move ... I lose the spot pretty much immediately.

So this would not help too much. Unless ... you would hold my legs while I did it. Or I would lean against the wall of a house. Then I would not need to worry about falling over."
