Speedy poked his nose out of Robins coat, and rubbed the sleep out of his little eyes.

"We're back in Vala, right? We could visit Ana again. The people said magic was not illegal anymore, so she should be free now."

Shara would find herself unable to head into an alley or turn a corner, Quan Chi's command keeping her within his line of sight.

 

[Furioso]

"It may be, but that is not necessarily a bad thing." replied Yeager, leaning against the door frame.

"I see", Timea responded, after being quiet for a short moment. She didn't approve of the act, but could get behind the reasoning. Not knowing about her confrontation with the guards, she thus didn't judge Shara. "Did you get into contact with the bald man while you were incarcerated? Or afterwards?"

Robin, still asleep, woke with a start and fell out of bed as Speedy popped out from the coat he had hung on his bedpost.

"Not complaining, merely making an observation. Are you from this land?"

Speedy did not seem to care that Robin fell out of his bed.

"Right? Do you still remember Ana?" he said.

 

[Furioso]

"I'm not, and I suspect you aren't either. There are more of our kind running around than you'd think."

Vala, day 9, 6:04
Robin got up groggily, his brain rebooting. "Yes. It's has been a while, we should go meet her."

"More people from other worlds have already arrived?" Quan asked, pleasently surprised.

 

[Furioso]

"Oh ja, there's tons of 'em. There was a pretty sizable group, I don't know vhere they all vent, though. Last time I saw all of them vas a long time ago."

[color=0066cc]"While in prison. He appeared, 'convincing' the guard to let me go and took me to the mountains through a portal. That's where he restored me."[/color] You frown as you speak, still furious about what happened.

Vala, day 9, 6:04

Speedy jumped on Robins head and poked him.

"Then let's go meet her!"

"One second..." Robin said groggily, putting his coat on. "You are full of energy, you know that?"

"Interesting..." Quan Chi remarked. "Who were they? What did they look like?"

Timea let out a "hmm" in response to Shara, the emphasis she placed on words, and the way in which she did telling her enough. She looked to Quan Chi over her shoulder, judging she was still within his hearing range, but at a distance where it would start to get difficult to pick up on what was being said.

Looking back to Shara, Timea continued speaking with a hushed tone. "What is he doing to make you follow him? Is it blackmail... or something more sinister?"

 

[Silence]

Vala, day 9, 6:04

"Really?" Speedy asked. "I have slept a lot in your coat. Maybe that's why it is.

If I only could use this energy as fuel!"

 

[Furioso]

Yeager shrugged. "I don't know much about them myself. Vouldn't be hard to spot them, they kind of stick out like sore thumbs. About as much as you and I do."

A pained look flies across your face, and then you reply in an equally hushed voice; [color=0066cc]"It's like he said, I am his... servant. I serve him, because he restored me."[/color] - You grimace for a moment, trying to figure out a way tell her what you really want to say. After a moment, you settle on saying; [color=0066cc]"I really can't say anything bad about it... He gave me my arm back, and I will a part of his no doubt glorious plans."[/color]

Listening and looking to Shara, Timea slowed down her walk, but otherwise kept moving. Reading her face as Shara replied, Timea noticed the pained expressions, this alone told Timea enough, the way in which Shara gave her verbal reply adding to it, filling in some blanks. "I thought so", she said, grimly.

"You said he used a "portal" to get you out of the slammer? Can you give me an idea what these are, and how they work?"
