Utarra, Ship - Day 9 - 13:23

Now stuck with a hand in her mouth, Anik had no choice but to bite down, or to dissappoint Hillary, even though she felt really awkward about biting on something still moving and connected to the rest of Hillary.

Shortly she considered telling Hillary that she had preferred if the part was already ... prepared for her. This, however, was not possible in this state anyways.

So Anik bit into Hillarys and started to chew, tasting if it was different then the original bread. Her head went quite red at the same time, her being very embarrassed about what she was doing.

Thankfully for Anik, it seemed like whatever Hillary's hand makeup was stayed consistent inside her mouth. Having the bread turn to flesh and such would have probably put a damper on her day. But as a benefit, Anik would tell almost immediately that the bread Hillary was made of tasted notably better than the bread she'd eaten before. It was definitely sweeter and richer than before, although it was hard to put if that was Hillary's 'taste' or what she'd done to the bread.

Happy that Anik had finally tried some, Hillary pulled back her hand, which was already starting to regrow back. "Soooo, how do you like it Anik~ I told you it was good." Hillary mused, eating some for herself as well.

 

[Silence]

Utarra, Ship - Day 9 - 13:23

It tasting better, Anik began to chew more, then swallowed. "You were right, Hillary!" She smiled. "It tastes even better than the original bread. Did you do something to it?"

Now having overcome her inhibitions, Anik's mouth began to water, longing for more of the good stuff. To prevent this from showing, she took some of her meat and shoved it into her mouth.

"Na, I didn't do nothin'. Like I said it just tastes better when you share stuff." Hillary answered, happy to see Anik indeed enjoyed the bread. "But I'm happy you liked it~" Hillary laughed happily before chomping down on a bunch more bread herself.

 

[Silence]

Utarra, Ship - Day 9 - 13:24

"It tastes better when you share stuff? That sounds like a good lesson. I will remember it." Anik laughed. "Yes, it tasted reeeaaally good." she added, not being able to help herself.

"Anyways, should we finish eating, and then wait until the sailors start their shanties? Then we could sing with as well!" Anik said after eating more of the stuff she had gotten from the sailor, mainly swallowing down the bread as fast as she could, so that she would not lose the taste of Hillary's.

 

[Zepherus14]

"That's good." Hillary smiled, then listened to the rest of Anik's talk about the shanties. "Oh ya, I'd really like that! I wonder when they'll start." She said, eating away at herself too.

Given the large amount of bread she'd eaten it would take drastically longer to burn through it for Hillary to finally change into any other material. This time however Hillary would take only about 15-20 minutes instead of the several hours it normally would.

Utarra, Ship - Day 9 - 13:45

After the ship began to move, and Hillary and Anik had finished eating, Anik heard that Hillary was wooden again when she moved around.

"Hey, Hillary." she called out. "What kind of haircut do you have now?"

"Huh?" Hillary asked, having forgotten about the whole hair thing while they'd been eating. "OH! Right, the hair." She said as she started touching at her head.

Hillary's hair would have altered once she'd changed from bread to wood. She'd now have her hair elegantly pulled back and tied into a tight bun behind her. However none of it was free flowing and instead feeling more like it was just carved as one solid mass. "Ya it is different Anik, you wanna feel?" Hillary asked.

Anik would be able to feel that parts of Hillary's hair seemed to even been braided, and if she didn't know any better Hillary could easily be passed off as the head piece of the ship they were aboard.

 

[Silence]

Utarra, Ship - Day 9 - 13:45

"Sure." Anik said and felt Hillary's hair.

"This does feel like it was done quite beautifully." she said while feeling. "But it just changed to it, didn't it? But you did not really notice while changing, right?

... I wonder why it does change in these ways." Instead of stopping, Anik hugged Hillary again. "It is kind of sweet, though."

It could end very badly for us all."[/color] You look to the side for a moment, trying to calm the torrent in your head before continuing. [color=0066cc]"I suggest you seek out Robin the mage, a young lad with grey hair. He's a nice fellow, I think the two of you might get along."[/color]

"Ya I didn't do nothing, I didn't even realize I changed until you mentioned it." Hillary answered, accepting the hug happily. "Wait, did you say I'm pretty?!" Hillary replied, realizing Anik had mentioned something about that and very appreciative of the complement if she indeed get it. "So what do humans normally do with their hair? It doesn't change like this, right?"

[color=9f2089]"No, I don't remember."[/color] Cybil gave Robin a funny look, as she had never been anywhere near Robin and Speedy when they met Ana. [color=9f2089]"But alright. Well just have to inform the other guards what we're doing first."[/color] She added as she climbed off the bed.

"Uhm, yes, I kind of did say you are pretty." Anik said, keeping the hug, and laughing. "You are very pretty indeed.

And yes, the hair of humans does not change immediately, like yours does. But we can bind it in different ways, cut it, and do some other stuff, so it does look different. I don't know if your bread spike hair would be possible, but something like you have now would definitely be possible for a human as well." she explained. Tracing along the braids, Anik added: "Doing something like that takes a long, long time though. You need to bind something like three different bundles of hair together."

"I'm not going to fight anyone, if it can be helped. Nor will I inform the guards of you, if you don't agree with the plan", Timea reassured Shara, after she finished speaking, then shook her head. "Either way, I don't know where Robin is, nor anyone with him, for that matter. The last time I saw them has to be close to a week ago, now."

She paused for a moment, crossing her arms, speaking more direly. "Nor would we know where to find you, even if I did, if this Quan Shi can travel all over the world in an instant. I do think now is the best time to take action, all things considered."

"Hehe~" She giggled happily. Hillary also traced along one of the braids to feel what she was talking about. "Maybe I could try making a small one for you then! You said that you can have one, right?" Hillary suggested.

"It feels kinda funny when you move your finger along those though, it's makes a neat sound." Hillary mentioned, not upset by this, but meerly stating facts that Anik's nails occasionally scratching across the braids made interesting vibrations.

"Sorry..." Robin said to Speedy as he was booped, then looked to Cybil. "Right. Let's find the guard captain... and some breakfast." He left the room, trying to slap himself awake.

"Call it a suspicion." Quan Chi told Yeager, then looked over to Timea and Shara. "Are you two alright?" he called to them.

"You definitely could try to make me a small braid!" Anik said, thinking this would definitely be a good pastime. "I can have one, yes.

Hmm ... it does have a good echo to it." she added about wooden Hillary. Instead of feeling, she now knocked very softly against the braid with her knuckle. "Do you feel that inside your head as well?" Anik asked. "I mean the sound. Or is it just this close to your ears?"

"Apology accepted." squeaked Speedy, but continued booping his nose. "Okay, if we need to tell the guards, we need to tell the guards!"

Quan Chi would be able to feel that there was some sort of power, either within or on Yeagers person, that was currently not being utilized.
