Timea was about to respond to Shara, when Quan Chi called out. She looked to him, and with a raised voice to make herself heard, answered, "of course", with a neutral tone and facial expression. After, she cast a quick glance to Yeager and those under him, then looked back to Shara.

"I know it's a lot to ask, as we hardly know one another, but trust me." Pausing for a moment, Timea turned off her blanket, held out her hands with the palms facing up, then said, "Give me your hands."

Cybil followed Robin and would let him and Speedy take the lead on things, since this was their idea.

Robin practically jumped into the room, grabbing a meal.

Speedy jumped on Robins meal and started to gnaw into it.

You hesitate for a moment, but seeing no harm in it, you volunteer your hands to Timea.

Robin plucked Speedy off his meal and tore a bit off for the hamster, then levitated some fresh food to Cybil and looked to the guards. "I have a question to ask. Do we go now?"

"Some kind of special equipment?" Quan Chi asked, not really paying attention as he noticed Timea trying something.

Femesh Daer - Day 9 - 21:49​

Taking hold of Shara's hands, Timea toom them fairly firmly, noting the hesitation, and hoped the apprehension wouldn't lead Shara to resist Timea, of her own volition. She formed a hole in the palm of her right hand, then announced, "you're going to hear a noise, and start feeling sleepy, now. But it's harmless."

With this said, Timea fired a beam at Shara from the hole in her hand. It was obscured, and somewhat muffled by Shara's hand, hiding it from Quan Chi, although Shara herself would hear a muffled noise sounding like an overdriven saw wave.

If Shara was still capable of becoming tired in her condition, she would start to feel so, the effect doubling with every second of being exposed to the beam. Unless stopped, this would then continue until Shara was barely awake, at which point, Timea would stop it.
If Shara wasn't capable of becoming tired, nothing would happen at all.

The guard looked at Robin, clearly confused. "How would I know? You're not employed by us." he replied.

Yeager shrugged. "Nein, I just like the look. Vhy are you so curious about them?"

"Where's the commander?" Robin asked.

"There's something about you. I can sense it. I wonder if the same extends to your servants."

Vala, day 9, 6:06"Whoever's leading the Vesh diplomat's bodyguards." Robin said.

"Oh ja? Is that some fancy vay of saying you're gonna try to get trade secrets from them? Not gonna happen." replied Yeager, half serious.

You are surprised, both at Timea's actions and that you do not feel pressured to attack her for them. You do not feel more tired though, and you think to yourself that you haven't really been tired at all since you were killed. You decide to close your eyes anyway, emptying your mind like you do when you meditate and then drifting closer and closer to sleep.

"I don't know. Probably with the diplomats in their rooms." the guard stated.

As she continued firing the beam, stopping every four second to take a deep breath, Timea noticed Shara didn't seem to readily grow more tired. Deciding to see if this would stay that way, she continued, however. She was happy to see Shara closing her eyes, and drifting away, eventually.

When it looked like Shara was close to falling, Timea bended through her knees, and gently picked Shara up, carrying her bridal style. If her blaster was visible - as a bulge under her clothing, or otherwise - she would instead take it in one hand, and hoist Shara over her other shoulder.

Either way, she then began moving back to Quan Chi and Yeager, increasingly feeling more nervous, and even afraid, with every step.

Not showing this, and when close enough to do so close to normal speaking levels, she called out; "Mister Yeager? Being assigned to uphold this city's security as you were, I have something to tell you."

Femesh Daer - Day 9
As you drift off, you feel the blaster strapped to your hip being taken. However, before you can react you are sleeping, in a troubled manner.

Vala, day 9, 6:07
"Thank you." Robin finished his food and left, using his senses to locate the diplomats and heading towards them.

Femesh Daer, day 9, 22;49
"No. I am merely curious." Quan Chi stated. He noticed Timea carrying Shara over, and immediately his mood darkened. "What did you do?" he asked Timea.

 

[Furioso]

Yeager raised an eyebrow. "You two had quite the adventure I see... vhat the hell happened?"

Femesh Daer - Day 9 - 21:50​

"You said you saw her in a cell--" Timea began, first answering Yeager, looking to him, then looking between him and Quan Chi. "--so I probed for more information about that. While it wasn't a genuine confession, I could reasonably assume that she was incarcerated in this city, and broke. After this, I subdued and disarmed her. She's unharmed, however."

After answering the two, leaving out the bits Shara told her about Quan Chi, Timea blew a small sigh, and looked back to Yeager. "I feel she should be detained again, and kept under close watch, until the methods she used to escape are found out, and preventable. Wouldn't you agree?"

She didn't like relying on Yeager, but had no reason to doubt he was indeed there to defend the city. And with the level of security at his workshop being far greater than what was present in the rest of the city, thought it would protect Shara from Quan Chi better.

She hated the machines, but she hated the magic affecting Shara more.
