Anik followed a bit behind Timea, to continue the conversation. "Another danger? What do you mean?

... something with Yeager? We are back near Femesh Daer, and he seems to have built more, if I understood Hillary correctly."

As he walked around, Robin would see some of the soldiers training in the yard. The building where sorcerers were imprisoned hadn't outwardly changed since he was last there, and he would see glowing lights coming from within, due to the sorcerers using their powers.

"I don't think Yeager is a problem. At least, not directly to us. No, I encountered a damnedable sorcerer, yesterday. He had someone that used to travel with Robin's group, using some kind of repulsive magic to turn her into his slave", Timea explained, pronouncing "damnedable" with a hard N, and placing angry emphasis on "repulsive". "I used a crime she committed in the past to have her be captured again; Better that she is in a cell, rather than with him. But because of this, the sorcerer might now make a target out of me."

She paused for a moment, then said, "we should leave as soon as possible."

 

[Silence]

Femesh Daer, Beach Area - Day 10 - 14:51

Anik thought about what Timea had said for a while, then answered: "Someone with Robin's group? Who? And ... it seems you did good, but ... why exactly would he go after you? He did not show up here, yet. I thought he wanted his slave. Or did he free her already?

... also, this is not ideal. I encountered someone else in the city yesterday, I had a lot of questions for. But ... I was not able to. I was ... I could not."

Thinking back, Anik got more angry with herself. "If I would not have felt this way, I could have already asked everything. But now ... I wanted to meet her again, and we have to run. Damnit!"

She kicked the sand with her bare foot.

Femesh Daer, Beach Area - Day 10 - 14:52​

Hearing what Anik said, Timea stopped what she was doing, and looked over her shoulder, to Anik. "Don't blame yourself like that, Anik. How you felt couldn't be helped. It may have been better if you hadn't boarded the ship, but getting angry won't change anything." She paused a moment, then blew a mute sigh. "Okay. Let's think consider the situation. We haven't been attacked in our sleep, so it can be assumed the sorcerer won't be doing so, in the immediate future, for whatever reason. And he wouldn't dare to attack while in the city. So, we don't have to leave right this instance. As long as you don't take too longer, you can meet with this person again."

The Red Eyes carried Shara inside. "Don't worry, the chances of accidentally hiring another recently escaped convict are impossibly high! Now then, vas there anything else you'd like to discuss? I should really get back to vork."

Femesh Daer, Beach Area - Day 10 - 14:52

Anik did not really calm down, but answered anyways: "Alright, this sounds better. Just ... I don't want to leave you either.

... and if I walk back into the city, it will probably get this bad again. I hate it. I hate this sense. I wish I did not have it."

Realizing what she was doing, Anik got the idea about the breathing exercise Timea had taught her. Taking some deep breaths, she finally calmed herself again. "Actually, I want to know more about this sorcerer, and how much of a problem he could be. And what he did ... this does not seem like your every day magic." To point this out, she created a few drops of water with her ring, and sprinkled them towards Timea. "Making a slave out of someone ... disgusting. And who was it, now? I might know her. Why was she imprisoned, anyways?"

Femesh Daer, Beach Area - Day 10 - 14:53​

As Anik began doing the breathing exercise, Timea turned back around, and continued her digging, not slowing down as Anik spoke again, although she did hear.

"I'm more than a--" Timea began, but cut herself off as the water was splashed on her, surprised by it. Otherwise not being bothered, she continued, the droplets quickly evaporating due to the heat of the fire. "--aware. Anyway, the sorcerer is called "Quan Chi". He sounds somewhat like this." There was a small pause in between Timea speaking with her own voice, and when imitating Quan Chi's voice, as she changed her voice box to do so. Changing it back, she continued. "I don't know much about what he can do, or how it works, but I do know he can create a sort of doorways between places, allowing him to travel between these, instantly." Blowing an irritated sigh, she then muttered, "... An ability we've been seeing far too much for my liking."

She paused once more, this time a bit longer. "As for his victim, he called her Shara. I don't know if that's her real name, but she was there when Matilda read our hearts. She was the one to suggest Matilda read yours, too. [color=0066cc]She sounds like this."[/color]

"She was incarcerated, because she assaulted Yeager, at some point, in Calibeth City."

Femesh Daer, Beach Area - Day 10 - 14:53

"I never heard of a Quan Chi." Anik stated. Very appreciative, she added: "But thank you for imitating his voice like this. Anyone else would have tried to describe him ... not very useful." she laughed. "But yes, the ability just randomly traveling around, it's really something people should not have ... it's not really fair now, is it?"

As she had felt better before, Timea informing her about Shara came to Anik like a gut punch. "Oww. Fuck. Damnit!" she called out. "I'm responsible for this mess she's in! Why, why could I not just shut my mouth back then?!" Smacking herself hard with one hand, she added: "I did inform her about Yeager in Calibeth City. To get her attacking him! ... Well, at least I did save her back then ... to get her incarcerated and made a slave, now! I even used her as an excuse to get myself out of prison!"

To stop herself from flipping out, Anik did another breathing exercise. "I ... think I want to talk to her as well. Not free her, or fight against someone. Just ... talk. Even though ... I don't really want to go near Yeager. I have no idea what to do now.
... I should have taken her place."

Femesh Daer, Yeager's Compound? - Day 9
You wake up sharply from a nightmare, and after calming yourself for a moment you look around and wonder where the hell you are. Your hand quickly flies to your hip, and you curse quietly when you find your blaster is missing.

Femesh Daer, Beach Area - Day 10 - 14:55​

Hearing Anik's reaction to what she had told her about Shara, Timea stopped what she was doing, frowning angrily. She was quiet for close to a minute, keeping herself from getting too angry, and saying something she would regret. After doing the breathing exercise, herself, Timea looked to Anik.

Seeing Anik was clearly regretful of what she had done, she forgave Anik for it, but anger at the act remained. "... Right", she said with a stifled voice. "I'll lead you to Yeager's facility. Shara is being held there. But you should wash yourself, before we head back into the city."

 

[Silence]

Femesh Daer, Beach Area - Day 10 - 14:55

Timeas feelings reflecting her own, Anik did not think much about them. "Thank you." she said, still unsure about how Yeager would react with her showing up again, but feeling more safe if Timea was with her. "But ... yes. I will do it right away."

She went back to her clothes, finding them by the heat of the fires, undressed herself completely and washed herself, the face most thoroughly. For this, she tried to control some sea-water with her ring as well, doing it semi-successfully.

After she was done, she put the qipao back on, then went to her clothes and felt for the right boots, her coat and the blindfolds. She reluctantly put on the boots, then her coat. The purple and the red blindfold she held up, calling to Timea: "Which of these does fit better to the coat?"

Femesh Daer - Day 9 - 21:51​

Not being stopped, Timea left Femesh Daer with Shara's blaster, moving to the beach. Having decided to destroy the blaster so no one could use it or build off of its design, Timea thought on how to do it. Thinking the weapon was of the ballistic kind, she didn't want to try and melt it and have it explode. Instead, she crushed the barrel, then reeled her arm back, and threw it in the sea. With her vast strength, and its low weight, it would end up hitting the water over a kilometre away.

With this done, Timea moved on.

Femesh Daer, Beach Area - Day 10 - 14:57​

When Anik went to wash herself, Timea din't continue digging. As she would leave the campsite soon to guide Anik into the city, she thought it would be best to leave the carcass buried for that time, to keep it safe from carrion eaters. Not feeling like continuing the carving either, she instead passed the time by tracing random lines in the sand.

When Anik finished washing and dressing herself, and held the blindfolds up, Timea looked at them. "The one in your left hand", she answered, indicating the red blindfold.

While Anik would put the blindfold on, Timea moved closer, to begin warming her up with the fire. And when she finished, Timea began walking back to Femesh Daer.

"Let's go."

Femesh Daer, Beach Area - Day 10 - 14:57

"Alright." Anik said, and put the blindfold on. Hoping her other clothes, her bag and her cane would be safe at this place, she only stuffed her other clothes back into her bag.

When Timea told her to go, Anik put out the fires by destroying the runes in the sand, then followed Timea, quite anxious about what her meeting with Shara - and probably Yeager first - would be.

Femesh Daer, Beach Area - Day 10 - 15:00​

"When you go meet with Shara - assuming you're allowed - you should say nothing about your involvement in her arrest. If it comes up, don't lie, but try to evade the subject", Timea said, after some three minutes into the walk back to Femesh Daer. "I might have forgiven you, but I doubt the law would."

Robin, unless he was stopped, would quietly walk past the guards with Cybil and Speedy in tow, entering the building. He used his sense to try and find Ana.

Quan Chi left without another world, heading out of sight. From there he made a portal to his camp, heading back through and planning.

Femesh Daer, Beach Area - Day 10 - 15:00

Anik thought shortly, then answered: "I know, I won't bring it up ... but I also already have been arrested, and have been let go, so this should not really be a problem."

Femesh Daer - Day 10 - 15:17

Now coming closer to Yeagers workshop, Anik finally noticed that she did not sense suppressed hearts anymore, like she had been sensing the last time she had been in Femesh Daer. She wondered about this, and, searching a bit for these hearts, found the hearts with their loyalty for Yeager. Frowning, she quite wondered what exactly had been done to them.

Femesh Daer - Inside the Factory, Day 9
Shara would find herself inside a metal box like room, much like a prison cell except without any bed or window on the door. The room was illuminated with a lighted strip on the ceiling. Hearing her wake up, Yeager called to her from outside. "Velcome back. Fear not, you're friend isn't here anymore. I think ve should have a chat."

Femesh Daer - Day 10

Anik and Timea would find the factory in about the same state as before, with the exception being a present, but unobtrusive, humming noise that seemed to come from the ship still in dry dock.

Using his sense, Robin would locate Ana in a corner of the library. The damage caused by Beak was still visible, as many of the books and manuscripts had been destroyed, leaving empty shelves. Ana herself was writing notes in a book, while humming quietly.

Femesh Daer, Beach Area - Day 10 - 15:00​

"You also said you got out of that situation, by placing the blame solely on Shara. So, if anyone finds out about that, they would probably be very quick to undo that pardon", Timea pointed out, still sounding a little angry. She was quiet for a moment, then blew a small sigh. "Just mind your words. Even if you're left alone with Shara, assume there are the machine equivalent of eyes and ears, everywhere."

Reaching the entrance to Femesh Daer, Timea slowed down. "The factory is close by. Although, I won't be joining you", Timea stated. "I'll be going back to camp to eat, so we won't have to wait for me to do that, after you finished talking to the people you want to speak with. I'll come find you when I'm done, and bring your belongings. Yes?"
