The blonde catgirl sat down as she listened, somewhat starry eyed as the story continued. At the end, she'd nod slowly. [color=46e16f] "...Mmm... I can't really imagine the fusions, but that sounds pretty amazing... I kind of wish I could do that..." [/color] The girl tilted her head again before looking and seeing that Cybil had finished up, staring faintly. [color=46e16f] I wonder... [/color]

[color=9f2089]"Eh, when you know what someone's gonna do in advance, it's not that hard to avoid it."[/color] Cybil replied to Robin with a smirk. She glanced over at Zephyra and gave her a wave. [color=9f2089]"See? Told you everything would be fine."[/color]

 

[Slenn]

"Yeah... it was amazing." She said solemnly. "Although I'm glad we only had to do it once. It took a lot out of us..."

She turned back to Heno getting herself back into a more enjoyable tone.
"I'm not going to fire lightning bolts while on this ship to test that theory." She laughed softly. "In terms of physical blows I could deliver to you, I could throw metal objects at you. I could melt your metal armor with microwave radiation. I could burn you with gamma rays. But those usually end up with really nasty after effects or aren't very interesting. I could electrocute you. Do you want to try that last one?"

 

[Gearhead mk2]

"You can tell their next move? Is it some sort of magic or spotting details?"

Zephy blinked as she looked Cybil over before she'd just sigh. [color=46e16f] "Right, right. Though you let that drag on for much longer than usual." [/color] The blonde casted a look toward Jane before snickering softly to herself. [color=46e16f] [small] "Then again, I can kind of see why..." [/small] [/color]

Seeing as how EMily reacted, Zephy decided to keep from pressing the topic. She'd quirk an eyebrow at the thought of electrocution... but part of her wanted to watch anyway. Was the girl in the maid dress actually for real? Zephy casually kept fanning herself as she waited to see.

"... Uh... No sharp objects, and some magic stuff. It doesn't do very well against either of those. Sharp objects too concentrated on one area, offers resistance, but will still get cut. Does not do well against electric magic, bypasses skin. Does okay against heat though... I have no metal on me other than silver, and sword."

 

[Drakmorg]

[color=9f2089]"Nah, none of that. My brain just tells me stuff in advance."[/color] Cybil nonchalantly explained to Robin.

 

[Gearhead mk2]

"...amazing..." Robin looked like he'd just achieved enlightenment. "How does it do that?"

Topaz zoned out for most of what EMily said, but got excited from the bit he heard. "FUSIONS?! Gems can fuse too! Can I fuse with you, Blue Hair?"

 

[Slenn]

"One at a time, please." She said to Topaz, gesturing her to tone it down a bit. "And no, I cannot fuse with you. I can only fuse with my sisters."

"How about... lasers? Those are always fun. I'll try a laser at a setting normally meant to give 2nd degree burns."

 

[Demonjazz]

"Sure. I can take lace-er. Fire away, blue hair!"

"Ah, but everyone else are just boring humans. Surely you'd rather talk to me!"

 

[Slenn]

"Yeah? Well, I'm a human that's demanding that you show so called 'ordinary' humans some respect. They may not be 'ordinary' after all."

She turned back to Heno, she outstretched her right arm and her eyes started glowing a soft white-blue. She extended her index finger and first fired a white laser that would give a first degree burn.

"I'm starting at a lower setting to see what happens. Tell me if you think you want to take this up a notch."

 

[Drakmorg]

[color=9f2089]"Well, I'm psychic, so my brain can just kinda do that."[/color] Cybil continued to explain. [color=9f2089]"Don't ask me how that works, nobody's figured that out yet."[/color]

 

[Demonjazz]

Heno's skin appeared to do a very little amount damage, but he didn't appear to fell any pain. He brought a glowing hand to his stomach and healed it. "... It sort of works with fire most of the time... Never deals damage past skin though."

 

[Gearhead mk2]

"Interesting. I may have to ask for your help some time."

[Slenn]

EMily retracted the laser.

"Interesting. It must've taken a lot of training to get to the point of harnessing your own energy to heal."

Topaz put his hand to his chest and loudly laughed at EMily. "Oh sweetie, if you knew me, you'd know asking for respect from me is just a waste of time."

He turned to Heno and patted him on the shoulder, and Heno might notice that there was hardly any weight or force behind it. "Ain't that right, big guy?"

Heno looked over to Topaz in confusion. "I don't know you at all, stone friend."

"Of course you do, buddy! Remember that time I warned you about Mr. Honest?" Topaz said, then looked away dramatically. "It feels like just yesterday. Oh, how time flies..."
