Initially, she didn't feel like correcting the mistake, but figure her not doing so could lead to misinformation if Anik ever thought to re-tell the story. She was, however, glad to see Anik was starting to feel better.

"But to answer your question, a bit of both, maybe. It wasn't unusual to see these animals captured to be used in battle by humans. This, and being prey didn't do their numbers much good. But, they do actually still exist, when I left the world."

"Oh. Right." Anik said. She felt slightly upset that she had made a mistake, but quickly drowned the thought, as it would do no good. Instead she said to Timeas answer: "Really? I wonder ... if I could meet such an animal at some point.

I still wonder about the size of the bird, though. Do you think it survived somewhere? Like you?"

"I haven't heard of these animals existing on this world, but who knows. Perhaps I simply haven't been to where they live, or they haven't been discovered."

Finishing removing the horse's organs, Timea began cleaning them. "But to answer your question, I couldn't say. I've never been all that far east, so I don't know what it's like there. But, it's not improbable to say he survived, until he died of old age", she answered, in-between pausing with producing water.

"Hmm ... nice." Anik said. "This bird couldn't talk like you, right? I wonder ... if it could have done similar things as you."

She got closer to Timea and the fire-blanket now, feeling for a comfortable spot to lie herself on the ground. "All these wonderful beings ... I wonder if I would have met similar beings, if I had gotten out of the cities in my world."

"Well, I can't produce human speech, under normal circumstances, either. That's achieved with shapeshifting, which I don't think the was capable of.

Either way, it doesn't do much good to wonder if things in your past could have been different, you can't change it", Timea stated, then continued, slightly more happy-sounding. "But, here you are now, talking with me. So, you at least can at least say you've met one... unusual creature, hmm?"

Stopping what she was doing, Timea moved besides Anik, and snapped her finger, then lightly rubbed the side of Anik's throat, unable to reach the neck with Anik laying down.

"Yes, no, I did not mean it in a depressed way. I meant I wonder if there were similar beings on my world." Anik said and chuckled slightly. "I mean, there are stories about unicorns and stuff.

And yes, I can say I have met one unusual creature." she added, and smiled more. "I still nearly can't believe what you are ... even though I know that you speak true. I ... hope I can tell this someone, at some point. It's my story."

With Timea coming to her and rubbing the side of her throat, Anik felt the urge to hug her, but held herself back. Instead, she rubbed her head against Timeas, and put one hand carefully on Timeas shoulder, not wanting to annoy in some way, trying to find some middle ground between hugging and not hugging.

Vala - Day 11 - 10:36

Speedy, who had tested his new engine, arrived around this time near Robin and Jantra. As he was very fast (though not as fast as he would be with a rocket engine, also he did not fly) however, he pretty much seemed to instantly appear on Robins shoulder, leaving a slightly smoking trail on the ground and Robins coat. "I managed to fix my fuel problems! At least in some way!"

Jantra tilted his head in confusion at Speedy. "First these Hoomans, now a talking feral. I'm still not convinced that this isn't a dream."

"I'm sure you will be able to, at some point", Timea responded, nuzzling a bit more firmly, but not by much. She didn't mind Anik placing a hand on her shoulder.

After twenty seconds, Timea pulled back from Anik, happy to see Anik smiling again. "I'm glad to see you're doing better", she said softly, moving back to the fire.

"... I hope so." Anik said. As Timea was pulling back, Anik kept on lying there, putting her hands behind her head. She said: "Yes, ... I hope it stays this way. I don't want to feel this way."

After the preperations, Timea began eating, also giving some meat to Anik, if she wanted. She would take some three and a half hours to finish the meal, having more small talk during it. When she nearly finished, Timea also apologized to Hillary, for making the girl go through another time of watching Timea get angry with Anik.

When Timea finished eating, she let out a contented sigh, having eaten the whole horse, and feeling fairly stuffed, with the caribou she had eaten at the beginning of the day. Sitting on her knees, Timea rubbed her stomach, saying, 'hmm. That was good."

She then reached for the blanket, asking, "well, Anik? Are you ready to get on my shoulders?" If the answer was in the positive, Timea would place the blanket against the front of her body, and have it covered by a layer of hide.
