Ella glanced over her shoulder and said dryly; "There's a line, wait for your turn." She then turned back to look at the receptionist and explained that she was there to talk with a prisoner called Anik. "She was brought in yesterday." - She added, for clarity.

[color=ff9966]"No thank you, it wouldn't really help."[/color] Nina politely shook her head. She looked around the area, taking an interest in one of the magical goods shops and going up to see if there was a window she could look through.

Candace also went to the magic shop, perusing its wares.

Ile Bizard, Montreal, March 3rd

Nina would be able to peer in through the window of the shop, and would see inside there were a number of products, ranging from bits of wood with runic designs carved into them, to metal rings, and some vials filled with liquids of various colours.

March 4th

"Certainly, madame. I'll inform the guards of your request." the receptionist said, and picked up a phone to speak with the guards.

Ile Bizard, Montreal. Afternoon. March 3rd​

Looking around at the people present, Kuki was wide-eyed at the variety.

"Striking. There are more sentient species living here, than the planets back home"

, they commented, speaking to no one in particular, mostly thinking aloud.

"I suppose that's possible when entire universes start connecting, as opposed to local planets."

Looking to the Vesh'Rah, Kuki began analysing their physiologies.

ED Shelter. Morning. March 4th.​

Not seeing a point in going there so soon after having been, Kuki didn't go back to the prison with the others, electing to stay behind. After being taken downstairs by Fernand, Kuki had their usual breakfast, glad they had packed various flavours.

Afternoon​

Fernand stood around when Kuki wanted to analyse physiologies. He explained what the Vesh were to Kuki, that they were from another world, and were created by a god.

Late Morning​

Green actually apologized to Ella, but was wary of her as she wanted to talk with Anik. Seeing her equipment, however, they made no attempt to engage her.
He produced the card the bounty store lady had given him after being asked for registration.

Red, however, went outside again, and walked over to Dalahar. [color=e50000]"Greetings."[/color] she spoke.

Kuki would find that the Vesh'Rah physiologies were similar to those of the animals that they resembled internally, as well as externally. Their were differences in size, due to the humanoid stature of the Vesh'Rah, however.

March 4th

Yauna would follow Ella and Fernand in, standing off to the side while Ella handled the receptionist.

When Green displayed the bounty store card, the receptionist directed him to security.

Candace looked for the entrance to the magic store.

"Merci." - Ella replied to the receptionist.

Candace would find the entrance to the store. Entering, she would see the same things as Nina had through the window.

"Hello? Shopkeeper?" Candace called out, taking a closer look at the wares.

"An entire species, that was engineered from the ground up? Wow"

, Kuki said on hearing Fernand's explanation, astonished.

Wanting to talk to one, Kuki asked if Fernand could take them to one of the Vesh'Rah. Being carried to the closest one, they called out,

"excuse me"

, followed by the pronoun sir or miss.

"I have some questions about alien people and cultures. Could you answer a few?"

Afternoon​

"Something like that, yes." Fernand said to Kuki. "But I can't really imagine it myself."

He carried Kuki to the Vesh, greeted them, then let Kuki talk.

- Bordeaux Prison -
Late Morning​

Green and Black went straight to security. Green explained that they wanted to retrieve a prisoner called Anik, again.

Ile Bizard, Montreal, March 3rd

A woman who appeared human, apart from two long pointed ears and hair coloured like autumnal leaves, came through from a back room and looked at Candace from behind the counter. "How can I help?"

The fox-like Vesh'Rah man the pair approached looked over, then shrugged and said, "I suppose. Don't have much better to do right now."

March 4th

"I'm afraid Anik isn't allowed visitors right now, after what happened yesterday." the receptionist informed Ella.

Green and Black would be searched and made to leave their possessions outside, then be led into the prison. "We've been hoping someone from your world would show up. She's detained, but not for long; yesterday she smashed her cell door down."

"Ah, hello. Pardon, I was just examining what you have. I'm a collector." Candace explained.

 

[Silence]

Montreal, Quebec, Canada. March 4th, 2025
- Bordeaux Prison -
Late Morning​

Green and Black looked at each other, then Green said: "What? She should not be able to do that."

 

[Kirke]

"I see. I will have to make a call, excuse me." Ella replied to the receptionist. She stepped away from the desk and called her superior, asking for orders about Anik. If she was supposed to be handed over, Ella needed to get the others - particularly Dalahar - away from the area immediately. But if Anik wouldn't be extradited, well, based on how things had gone before this could get ugly.

March the 4th

Shana enjoyed her training from the other day and felt like she was coming along quite nicely. The only thing that tired Shana was food. Exercise didn't really exhaust her.

Not having much else to do, Shana met up with Kuki at the breakfast table.

"I've heard that your people were created from scratch. Is that true for every type of bipedal furred organism I see here?"

Kuki questioned.

"And could you elaborate on the process of the creation?"

Pointe-Saint Charles, Montreal. Morning. March 4th.​

Some two hours after deploying a Watcher in Waltham, the nebulous entity decided to deploy one at the site of the first energy spike they discovered. A short ways outside the portal station, and a kilometre and a half in the sky, they opened a portal, and send through another of the small spherical machines.

After being deployed, the portal the Watcher came through closed, whereupon it opened a tiny one to relay information to the universe it came from. While the watcher surveyed the area from the air, on the ground, in the portal station the two spybots that survived connected to it, and send the footage they had captured

Ile Bizard, Montreal, March 3rd

"I see. Well, do you like what you see?" the woman asked Candace.

"You heard wrong. We weren't made from scratch, we were created from animals. And yes, they're all Vesh'Rah." the man informed Kuki. He then continued, "And I can't. It happened centuries before I was even born, when the only sentient life was the gods."

March 4th

"That's what we thought, too." the guard said, as she led Green and Black through the prison, to an administrative area. "Apparently, when she was on Avinah, she had a ritual of Faotar performed on her, which increased her strength."

Ella would be informed that there was no official extradition order for Anik, though the bounty stores had requested she be extradited.
