March 3rd, park
When training Shana, Dalahar was focused mainly on theory and basics. He couldn't teach her how to fight as astartes. The main things he highlighted included spacing, awareness, conviction. Most battles lost are because someone hesitates and that moment is siezed upon. Dalahar was content with her ability with the dagger, more of a sword in her hands. He explained how the power field of the dagger worked and by actor wrong it the dagger could slice through all but the thickest armour.
When finished Dalahar would then explain to Shana that instruction has ended and best time they will spar.

I grow stronger Dalahar. The touch of those warriors no longer blights our soul. While you continue to waste our time I have been thinking on what we could be doing here, what we could accomplish. You could unite them Dalahar, unite the people here in worship of the gods and lead them all back through the portal to witness them. Failing that.......we can continue your dithering but if bores me so. Blood was meant to flow hot and fast not cold and sluggish. You flesh bags and bone sacks such fragile notions of justice and law. It's a time bomb Dalahar. Fear our complacency, we know what happens to a creature like you when there is no fight to be had. I grow stronger
Dalahar meditates, grappling with his conflicting desires in his head. His melancholy interrupted by the stranger. Dragged back into reality be answered "hm? Well met newcomer" he said looking down at the person before him
