"No no no no no! You misunderstand. The civil rights unrest is from something different. Apollo was established as a mining colony to harvest cobalt and molybdenum for the construction of warpgates. In order to set up the colony quickly enough to meet consumer demand for the warpgates, IDoT contacted the Bioengineering Institute on Vega. These people found a way to more conveniently compact nuclear fusion from biological systems. They created the Fenrir and conducted a year long social experiment to make sure we were compatible. Everything was going fine on Apollo until an unexpected violent reaction occurred between a Fenrir and another Human. The event cascaded into discrimination against the Fenrir ever since." She sighed. "So there you go."

A few minutes after the portal had closed, an XPOL agent arrived with a pair of cops where Blue and Anik had stepped through the portal. He looked around for a while, but he couldn't find any real clues as to why Forefront had opened a portal there. [hr]

The bounty hunter nodded and followed the guard, idly looking around at environment and more keeping a sharp eye out for ambushes. She was quite paranoid, but in her line of work that was almost a requirement.

As the bounty hunter was led through the Library, she would see no signs of ambushes, or even any places where ambushes could be set up since the area was quite open.
After a short walk, the bounty hunter would be shown into Ullia's office. The woman sitting behind the desk looked almost human, however her slightly pointed ears betrayed her elven ancestry. Additionally, she had two thin rows of black scales curving from the corners of her mouth up over her cheeks, under her eyes, towards her ears. Her hair was long, and also black, in stark contrast to her pale skin, swept back behind her ears.
Covering her body was a black robe, trimmed with white, and lacking sleeves. Her arms, like her cheeks, also had patches of black scales.
Presently, the woman was writing notes in a ledger, however she did look up when the bounty hunter entered. "Another strange visitor?" she mused. "How can I help you?"

There's an engineering division that helps maintain the peace by offering their services as fusion power reactors. Yes, remember that each and every Fenrir can harness nuclear fusion. But do not worry, my ability is minimal. And Fenrir cannot produce nuclear fusion if they are angry or enraged."

After walking through the city, getting directions from the locals, Dala and Candace would find themselves at a relatively small shop. Inside was a desk, and behind it a Vesh'Rah man writing in a ledger. Next to him was a telephone. Candace might be surprised by the appearance of the Vesh'Rah who, in this city, were mostly fox-like.

The Scath cordon at the south of the city was in the sky. An organised and dispersed formation with each unit of 3 equally spread apart. At the centre, Ptaak held his force steady in a stationary position. After hearing the communication he arced his head to look at one of the Scath on his team. Both wearing the same style of armour, marking them out as those eligible to be elected command. In this case it was Ptaak leading and his friend and comrade Heav who supported him. "Ana'k der Hrem'k vor ash dzar" he grunted. To which Heav replied "dna'k alja wrok menk" with a chuckle. Ptaak chuckled himself "Wr'ta"
He then spoke in the langue he was addressed in over the comms, his counter offer. "This region is now sovereign territory of Scathis! You have 2 hours to surrender the city and return the prince! Your callous threats of invasion have been met in kind! The Scath shall never fly under your shadow!"
Ptaak's force numbers at 600, with 2000 in reserve a few miles back towards the incursion zone. All Scath visible at Johannusburg are adult Scath with an average size of 15 feet when standing on all fours on the ground and an average length of 35 feet from nose to tail. All are wearing combat harnesses, uniform design. Unit and rank markings are only discernible to Scath eyesight. The harness gives full coverage of Scath body with a grey ballistic mesh with composite armour plates to protect vital organs, limbs and the front of the neck. The huge wings of each Scath have a blade fashioned along each wing while the membrane itself has a flexible substance applied to it before battle to act as a second skin to protect them from small arms that would normally pierce them. The centre of their backs in between the wings is housing for ammunition canisters, communication equipment and support equipment, contained within an armoured layer that runs along their backs and about 1/3 of the tail. They all wear angular helmets that work more like a mask due to the shapr of their faces. The front and side of the face is covered but the underside is visible and it cannot stretch past the huge horns on their heads, which is where the mask is fitted.
