The officer gritted his teeth and fired, moving the emerald green beam in a circular motion to get maximum damage done and to try and stop all three attackers from getting close enough. He did not have much time however, and the laser worked best when it was allowed to stay on a target and burn deeply.

The bounty hunter thought for a moment, then said; [color=0066cc]"I know her name and her appearance, and I've also got a general idea of how good she is at fighting. I've met her before, several years ago, before she had a bounty on her head."[/color]

Shana closed her eyes to concentrate on the sounds in the sky.

"Huh." the guard stated. "Well, you should be able to find your bounty then. But still, I would need her name - after all it might be that she is under protection here, or other bounty hunters already search for her, or she was apprehended by our colleagues. You can't just go in a city and start hunting, you need official recognition."

Faa continues to writhe around. He was sick of this. Sick of being scared, attacked. He just wanted to go home.His integration collar had been broken, so much for formality, which meant he couldn't falk while his mouth was held shut.

Johanussburg
The one with bloody teeth drops back ever so slightly, the other blue Scath taking the beam. He roared with effort as he felt an area of his scales start to melt. As they arrived the targeted Scath was about to expire, the laser having burned through the side of his throat and exposing his airways. Even when I'm this state he knew what could happen with an open would near his head and so abandoned his charge to throw himself out of the window. The Scath with bloody teeth leapt forward and extended her arm blade in a single motion, aiming to punch through the officer.
The dull green Scath just started at the window where the first Scath had jumped.

The agent backed away, but he was not nearly quick enough and the blade struck solidly into his torso. Driven back until he hit the wall, the agent gasped in pain. However, the blade had not gone all the way through, thanks to the excellent armour-weave used by XPOL. Having dropped his laser rifle and being pinned against the wall, the agent drew his HF-blade. It was only a knife, but it hummed in an ominous way when it was activated. He stabbed down at the extended arm of the Scath, then wrenched the knife sideways to do as much damage as possible.

The bounty hunter smiled and said; [color=0066cc]"I'm only tracking my mark for now, I'll make sure not to approach her until she's out of the city. Her name is Anik, and if she has a last name then I do not know it."[/color]

 

[Silence]

Anyways, as a noble, you should lead, not only be served everything."[/color]

The guard looked at another guard and they exchanged glances. "The Anik?" he finally said. "Is she blind, by any chance?

I'm afraid there is no possibility of her being here. She is searched here too, after all. She vanished a few years back, and Krovis literally turned the city upside down to find her, but never did so.

But ... as you search for her, maybe you should try talking to Krovis yourself. I can let you inside the city. Head for the castle, you can't miss it."

"Have you picked up anything, Zev?"

Faa forces himself to remain still but his heart still thuds in his chest. All the adrenaline flowing through his
Body making him shake.

The blue Scath screeched and reared back, the vibrating blade having pierced the scales of her arm and sliced outwards. The tendons were cut and the arm fell limp to the floor and the Scath hobbled backwards. The shrieks of pain snapped the other Scath into action and moved around to the injured side of her comrade and propped her up. This behaviour was met by a snarl and some savage words from the blue Scath but the green one didn't listen. Instead turning around to carry her wounded comrade away.

The short one set about undoing Faa's restraints, undoing things manually wherever she could, and turning the pointer finger of her left gauntlet into a small, sharp, and sturdy blade to cut through anything else.

The XPOL agent slid down to a sitting position, clutching the bleeding wound with one hand. After staying still for a moment, he reached out and grabbed his laser rifle. He aimed it towards the door with one hand while looking around for something to stop the bleeding. "God damn this hurts..."

The bounty hunter stayed silent for a moment as she thought; [color=0066cc]Oh hell, she's well-known here? That's never a good sign. I might as well get some info while I'm here though.[/color] She then nodded, and said; [color=0066cc]"Alright, I'll head up to the castle then."[/color]

On her way up towards the castle, the bounty hunter wondered what she could tell Krovis. [color=0066cc]He's a king, or lord, whatever. Does he know about dimensional travel? Do I even want to tell him I'm not from this world? There might be laws around that sort of thing here...[/color]

Once the disguised body of the PM was found, XPOL was quickly brought in as the lack of blood was usually a sign of extradimensional crime. Since the man couldn't be reliably identified using facial scans, DNA tests and fingerprints were taken.

Faa shakes off the shackles remains, which disentigrare into nothingness as he does. "Thank you" he manages to mutter after some time of silence. "Thank you, I'm. This has been the worst two days ever"

The Scath weren't after land, the engagement had been impromptu. With a bellow the Knight called the attack to pull off.
He was needed for council with the other knights on the next course of action

The short one's tone sounded clearly surprised.

"Boy, you really did a number on this place." She said as she whistled and approached the scene, taking in the sights of the damaged trees and small craters left over from the fight. "...You're sure they're gone, right?"
