The Scath Aspirants were small enough to enter into buildings, furling their wings to navigate narrow spaces. The Errants outside were too large, too close to adulthood. Instead focused on directing the Aspirants or working as teams to combat those still in the streets. The Aspirants were wild and full of vigour and determination. They roared and charged and bit and immolated and stabbed as they went through buildings, the corridors hampering their movements and limiting the advantage of their agility. Scath would die from corner shots, blocking the doors for their compatriots who had to drag their fellow aspirants aputtering and twitching corpse out of the way before resuming attacks with nothing but a retractable arm blade and their own natural weapons. The strong willed, physically capable and smart survived here. Headstrong and brash Aspirants found themselves dead to ambushes, the winding and sudden corners preventing their formidable eye sight from giving much of an advantage apart from in initial reactions. The Scaths instinct would determine whether they lived or died. They jeered each other on, taunted their enemies and roared with excitement. The Erranrs outside on direct command of clutches of Aspirants quick to quell this behaviour as unfocused and ignoble. Those inside were beyond the words of their seniors however. After prolonged fighting some Aspirants in some buildings gave up, unable to handle what they had witnessed. Often sole survivors of their clutches after clearing buildings. Areas where Hrem had made their last stands, dead and dying Scath marking their progress mingled with human bodies in these rooms. Some aspirants panicked and fled in the face of stiff resistance, but were unable to make their escape, bunched up in narrow corridors. They died where they fell, often still propped up against the walls, groaning and hissing as they bled out.
3 Aspirants burst into the room with growls and roars. One coloured a deep blue with bloodied teeth and arm blade, the centre one a similar blue albeit darker and the third who was a dull green, her face splattered with immensely bright red blood, Scath blood. The other two roared and charged the officer with eyes of blazing orange, the dull green Scaths eyes a swirling blue as she charged also but in a hesitant manner.
