Candace looked to Gash and Anik with abject horror on her face. "...what is wrong with you two?" She turned back to Viyang. "I've never heard that name."

 

[Furioso]

"Suit yourself. If those guys drag you into trouble, can you take care of yourself? If not, I would at least stay by some guards, sounds like that fire guy thing could bring more issues their way."

 

[Silence]

"I said I'm sorry ... I was working for a guy, for whom I should not have worked for.
He ... had fun killing all the nobles."

 

[Kirke]

Lambda's office
Ella raised an eyebrow, "He is fused to his armour? That sounds... uncomfortable. Do you have any knowledge as to why it happened? Or what can be done to prevent it?"

 

[Gearhead mk2]

"What did you do with this man you should not have worked for?"

"He said he was genetically and cybernetically modified for combat, and only recently stopped fighting. Perhaps that's it. It began when he was surprised and hurt."

 

[Silence]

"Nothing. I walked away from him ... by accident. I don't think he would be pleased, but it was travelling worlds, so he had no possibility to go after me.

His name is Krovis. If you would ever meet him ... run away. He is pure evil."

"...Noted. I appreciate the warning." Candace sounded sincere.

Gash grinned as both Viyang and Candace expressed their disapproval at her comment. "Just the ones I've met anyways." She said, winking at Candace as she finished talking. She took a bite from the bone in the steak, making a loud crunching sound and several quieter ones as she chewed.

 

[Gearhead mk2]

"...oh. Was that more of your trademark friendly jabs?" Candace asked Gash.

 

[Silence]

One time, when the waitress came and asked if they needed anything, Anik asked her if she could get weed, and if not in the restaurant, where else she might get some.

"If that's how you want to take it, sure."

"You baffle me."

 

[Kirke]

Lambda's office
Ella looked down, troubled, as she thought; Merde! Why did I volunteer for this assignment? After a moment's pause she slowly said; "I'll have to make sure he's never injured, then." Looking up, she added; "Unless you have anything else to add, I should go find Mr. Tresh. Thank you for your cooperation." She then stood up, not looking quite as confident as she had before.

"You're welcome. And don't worry. You'll be fine." Lambda told Ella.

 

[Kirke]

Lambda's office & port
Ella nodded, then turned and left the office. She walked briskly towards the main hall, where she saw Ed, Yuri, Nina and most strikingly Dalahar. Swallowing her doubts, she headed towards them.

OoC: Off to bed.

 

[Drakmorg]

"Hmmm... Okay, I'll be careful." Nina nodded, seeming to take Yuri's advice seriously. Seeing another person walking over, she gave them a friendly wave.

 

[Furioso]

"Great, see ya around." said Yuri as he left to look around the city for the other new arrivals.

 

[Vakra jal]

The attack had placed Dalahar on guard. He held his volkite at a ready position and was now alert to danger.

 

[Silence]

"So, Lady Candace ...
if you are used to staying in a castle usually, as a noblewoman, where are you planning to stay here for the nights? I doubt there are many castles or mansions available around here." Anik spoke.

"I suppose with you. And I'm used to sleeping rough. Once I had to even rest in a place without a butler!" Candace boasted.
