"I could call Lambda right now, to ask her about a sightseeing guide." Anik said. "In fact, I think I'm gonna do that now."
She called Lambda with her phone, waiting for her to pick up.
Meanwhile Fernand was guiding them to a Metro Station, and spoke: "We best take the Metro from here. It's still a long footwalk away. Metro will be very quick."
He then answered Kukis question: "Yes, it's a big building. And ... ummm ... I guess extradimensionals like to go there because it has replicas of four different ecosystems found in America, it even has animals in it! So you can learn about the world without needing to go everywhere."

"I don't think so." Fernand said, wondering what kind of sample Kuki wanted to take. "Well, I guess this one is much bigger. But it's only underground. We use trains and other vehicles for much longer distances. The Metro is just this city."
Nearing the Station, he led them to a ticket machine, and got a tickets for the whole day, for Anik. He had one for himself already, he explained, and Kuki was small enough to not need one. He placed the ticket in Anik's hand, letting her carry and use it.

"Well, that's a given! But size aside, everything sounds similar, though. We use metros for city-wide travel, and trains for intercity, or international travel! I didn't expect anything like this would be, here, I thought everything would be above ground!"

"Actually, while we're talking about travel, how long has interdimensional travel been in use, here?"
"Hmm... How quickly can you get there and back?" Candace asked Tresh.
Lambda picked up the phone. "Hello?" she answered quietly.

"Hello, this is Anik." Anik spoke into the phone, "We're on the way to some Biodome thingy, and were wondering about sightseeing guides. Do you know where we could get one?"
"Well, if you build underground, you have double the place to build at least." Fernand said, "and extradimensionals have been around for about 11 years now, although most of the interdimensional travel started about 5 years ago, only. Stronger connections were built over the years. But they're of course hesitant trying to reach other worlds they haven't reached yet, as that could be quite dangerous.
I bet the politicians are are discussing what to do with the anomaly happening right now."
"Perhaps you should wait here until Shana's done readying herself, then meet us there." Candace suggested.
"I don't know. Maybe check online?"

"I thought you might know something, being the counselor and all. But alright, there are probably guides at the Dome." Anik said to Lambda. "Maybe you could look that up? We don't have online here, I think."
"Well, there is a portal here." Fernand said, "but not many on the world as a whole. So it's not that widespread. But still, there was some ... non-public preparation before they started civilian travel.
And I think we could visit one, but we'll have to ask someone about that. I don't know."
Fernand led them inside the station, underground, to wait there for a few minutes until the Metro arrived.

Kuki cocked there head at Fernand's response, saying,
