"I am asking for help." Anik said, the wisdom of the great Kuki not really getting through to her. "I'll think about it, alright."

Fernand remembered what Kuki said, to maybe remind Anik, if she needed it.

- Police Station -​

After a little bit of time, Anik, Kuki and Fernand arrived at the police station.

 

[Kirke]

"We'll swing by the station and then continue on to tattoo parlour. Don't want to keep Anik and Kuki waiting, and if the second man also has a tattoo there might actually be a connection there."

A few minutes after Anik and Kuki showed up, Ella and the others also arrived. It had taken them longer, as Dalahar's weight and size restricted them from anything but walking. Ella was also cautious about having Dalahar run through town, worried that it might cause a panic.

"Hello again, and sorry for the wait." Ella said to Anik and Kuki. She then looked down at Kuki and added; "I am very grateful that you're willing to help us. It speeds up our work tremendously, and might help save lives. Shall we go inside? Anik, you don't have to unless you want to. The smell wont be any better."

- Police Station -​

"I ..." Anik seemed very conflicted, but then agreed. "Alright, I'll wait here. You take Kuki." She took Kuki out of her pocket, and held them out towards Ella.

Montreal, Police Station. March 2nd.​

While waiting at the police station, Kuki at first passed the time analysing random people and their dogs that passed by, then began running simulations.

When the rest of the group arrived at the station, Kuki shut the simulation down, and looked to them.

"Others have been helping me, so it's only fair I do something in return. And if it does end up saving lives down the line, that's a good plus"

, Kuki responded, a brief pause as they were moved out of the pocket.

Once taken by someone to be taken inside, they asked,

"this one is from yesterday afternoon, right? The one that didn't immediately ignite?"

Police Station

The group would be led to the same observation room as before, where they would be able to observe the second body being autopsied. Physically, the two bodies wouldn't appear that different, due to the damage caused by the fire, with the most visible difference being a lack of a gash running through the shoulder and chest.

Candace stayed with Anik, not wanting to see another burned up corpse.

 

[Kirke]

Ella carried Kuki inside, either on her shoulder or in her hands. "Most likely, yes. His state makes identifying him difficult though." - She replied to his question.

Montreal, Mortuary. March 2nd.​

Not feeling comfortable being on Ella's shoulders, Kuki preffered to be carried in her hands.

"Okay. I'll see what I can find"

, they stated, looking towards the body once brought to the observation both.

Seeing the body, Kuki cramped up again, needing to take a moment to recompose themselves. Starting, Kuki gave the body a look with just regular vision. Not seeing anything that stood out with this, Kuki began their analysis, looking through the skin, and analysing whatever remained of the fat, muscle and connective tissues, cardioid-vascular system, internal organs, and skeleton. Like before, they didn't take a more in-depth look than this.

Viyang stayed outside again, with Candace and Anik. [color=663399]"So, uh... how was your day up until now?"[/color] she asked Anik.

Kuki's analysis would discover that this man was also human, with his body in a pretty much identical state to the last. Just like the other man, he too had a tattoo that had survived the fire to some extent.

"Are you talking to me?" Anik asked, and after confirmation, answered: "Pretty nice, actually. Aside from learning ... this.
But the Biodome was really interesting, smelled good, and I liked the idea of a small part of nature in a city. Although it was far too small, and footwalks are dumb.

How was yours?"

"What was in there?" Candace asked Anik.

Nina was playing outside in the snow again for lack of anything else to do. She appeared to be having a very difficult time getting any of it to actually clump together instead of just remaining powdery, and wasn't making much headway with anything.

Montreal, Mortuary. March 2nd.​

"Well there doesn't seem to be anything special about that one, that I can see. The seems to be in the same state the other one was in. No indication of who this one ignited later"

, Kuki relayed, finishing their analysis, and returning their vision to normal. They then continued on to say there was indeed a tattoo, and mention the location of which on the body.

- Police Station -​

"Lots of animals." Anik answered Candace. "In different environments. First was a rainforest, it had lots of birds, and even a crocodile, and monkeys. Then it got colder. They had a mapleforest area, a gulf area, and a polar area, too. And there were so many birds! Even in the polar region, the penguins!
But there was also a Lynx, and beavers, in the mapleforest area.

So yeah, it was pretty nice."

 

[Kirke]

With a sigh of almost relief, Ella said; "Alright, good. Thanks for the help." She then said goodbye to the coroner, and headed back outside. "Okay, next stop: tattoo parlour."

Montreal, Police Station. March 2nd.​

"Are you going there, too, Anik?"

Kuki questioned, as Ella announced the next destination.

- Police Station -​

"Yes, I want to." Anik said. "I'm partly responsible for what happened, I want to see this to its end.

We can visit the alien thing later, or you could go with someone else."

 

[Slenn]

Shana wasn't entirely squeamish towards the body. She observed the blood from the body, if any, wanting to know if what those rumors said about the ferals was true. She took a deep breath.
I don't feel anything. Maybe I'm just being too neurotic.

She went outside with Ella.
"This should be interesting. I wonder if it's anything like the ones I've seen back in my city."

Dalahar is outside, having trouble with fitting inside the building as usual and rather than potentially damage something chose to wait outside

Not having anyone else to go with, and hardly able to go alone, Kuki didn't like this answer.

"Okay. I guess we can finish up this business"

, they said, a little dejected.

Kuki hoped the investigation could at least teach them something interesting.
