"As you wish Anik" he said, he guessed there was more to her than what he saw. Never doubting the fact she could be a dangerous foe. His was filled with and anxious eagerness for action, wound up like a spring that would fire off at any moment

"Tch..." She clicked. "Shucks. Considering my appearance, I guess this looks like I can't risk myself this time. Oh well."

 

[Kirke]

"Fine. But Dalahar? Don't draw any weapons. Self-defence laws include a need for reasonable response and since nothing can hurt you, nothing aside from disarming your attackers would be reasonable." With that, Ella wandered over the street and walked into the tattoo parlour. Once inside she looked around, taking in the layout and looking for somebody in charge.

 

[Vakra jal]

He chuckles. "I'll try to pull my punches." He confirmed. He looked at Anik "be ready Anik" he addressed her so she knew he had spoken to her.

 

[ShindoL Shill]

The front room of the tattoo parlour had a counter running along one side of the room, leading up to a waiting area. There were a few people in the front room, only one behind the counter.

- Tattoo Parlour -​

"I am, always." Anik said to Dalahar. She clicked and walked over the street, to stand outside the tattoo parlor. Around her right hand, water began to form already.

 

[Gearhead mk2]

"Shame. I thought you could spy on them." Candace said to Kuki. As some entered, Candace stood back with Shana and whoever else had stayed outside.

 

[Kirke]

Ella walked up to the counter and introduced herself by saying; "Hello, I'm agent Ella Beckers of XPOL. I'd like to ask a few questions to the owner, or the manager if the owner is not in."

 

[Chungus]

Montreal, Tattoo Parlour. March 2nd.​

"I might be small, but I'm not exactly inconspicuous. I'd think they notice if I'd walk in. "

, Kuki countered, looking back towards the tattoo parlour, and trying to see what went on inside. They were a little anxious about what might happen, and hoped that whatever needed to be done at the place would be over with, quickly.

After a short moment, they asked,

"Why does what we look like matter, to begin with?"

 

[Gearhead mk2]

"If this place is full of those "Earth First" degenerates, anyone that didn't look human would be at risk." Candace told Kuki.

 

[ShindoL Shill]

"What's this about?" the man behind the counter asked, not sounding concerned or suspicious.

 

[Kirke]

"It's part of an on-going investigation into the deaths of two people, including one of those killed in the explosion earlier today."

 

[Chungus]

"I see. I thought it would be something like that"

, Kuki said in turn, then thought, wriggling the toes on their hind leg lightly.

"From the name, it sounds like they're some kind of counter-movement. How long has this been around, Fernand?"

they asked, looking up to Fernand.

"And, what, you think they got magic tattoos that make them explode?" the man asked, causing the patrons to chuckle briefly.

 

[Kirke]

Ella smiled grimly, though it was more of a grimace. "I can't divulge details about an on-going investigation. Can I please ask the owner a few questions?"

 

[Silence]

Montreal, Tattoo Parlour. March 2nd.​

"Yes, they are opposed to any kind of alien on earth. They are ... troubling. But I kind of can understand some ressentiments, after all, Tokyo happened.
Which means, Earth First is about as old, roughly 10 years. They got stronger with civilian interdimensional travel being made possible." Fernand answered Kuki.

 

[ShindoL Shill]

"Owner's busy right now. But I should be able to answer most questions." the employee stated.

 

[Kirke]

"I am afraid some of the questions are of a more personal type. Do you know how long he will be busy?"

 

[ShindoL Shill]

The employee shook his head, then said, "I'll go check, though." After that, he went into the back room and returned a minute or so later with the owner.
"What do you need to ask me?" the owner asked.

"If they're opposed to aliens, how does the portal network being open to the general public help them? I would've thought that's something a group like this hates"
