"I ask the same question, plus one." She said. "What exactly transpired at Tokyo? The people at the port said something about mermen. Who else came?"

 

[Furioso]

A portal opened behind the group, allowing a boy looking to be about 11 years old to fall through. He wore dark pants and a dark jacket, with a green scarf around his neck and a backpack on his back. He was also wearing an old aviators helmet, with the goggles pulled up to rest on his head.

The boy landed on his feet, quickly looking around at his new surroundings, and then back up at the portal as it closed. "...Woooow, that was awesome! Anyone else see that? ...Wait, where am I?"

 

[Slenn]

"Another portal? This time it's spawned outside the station."

"Ummm.... hi." She said to the boy, giving a soft smile. Not entirely sure what was going on.

 

[Gearhead mk2]

Candace looked to the boy, staring at him, startled by his sudden appearance.

 

[ShindoL Shill]

"The general public don't mind the portals but... well, like you said, Earth First hates them. There were protests and stuff when they opened." Fernand stated in response to Kuki's question. "And I don't know exactly what happened in Tokyo. But I do know it was the first known anomaly. A lot of people came through, including some merfolk. And they needed somewhere to live, underwater, so apparently they tried to flood the city or something. The other interdimensionals stopped them, and found them a place to go with no people, but they'd already committed a load of murders. When the rest of the world found out, there was a lot of outrage. And issues with a group of magic knights and the bounty stores caused even more problems..."

 

[Chungus]

Montreal, Tattoo Parlour. March 2nd.​

"Hmm. Yes, I can't say I'm really surprised at the outlook these people have. All things considered, I'm surprised they haven't formed a militia"

, Kuki stated.

"But I still don't understand how there being portals made them more po--"

Saying, Kuki was cut off as the boy emerged behind them, which startled them. If they were able of yelping, they would have. With an elevated heart-rate, they tried to see what was going on, but couldn't see much from their current position.

 

[Silence]

Fernand looked at the kid confused.
"You're in Montreal, Canada. Where did you come from?"

 

[Furioso]

"Canada? How the heck did I wind up here? I was just at Whi- Uhh I mean I was at summer camp." said the boy, confused.

 

[Drakmorg]

"Hello." Nina waved pleasantly to the new boy, not seeming terribly thrown by his sudden appearance.

 

[Furioso]

The boy walked over to Nina. "Hey, hows it going? Do you know how I wound up here?"

 

[Gearhead mk2]

"Summer what?" Candace asked the boy.

 

[Furioso]

"A summer camp, I probably shouldn't say the name of it, [small]it's kind of a secret[/small]." responded the boy.

 

[Drakmorg]

"Probably the same way the rest of us did." Nina replied. "What's your name?"

 

[Furioso]

"My name's Razputin, but everybody calls me Raz. What's yours? And you all fell through a swirling psychedelic vortex too?"

 

[Gearhead mk2]

"...right... I can here when I fell off a boat."

 

[Drakmorg]

"Nice to meet you, Raz! I'm Nina." The small girl replied with a grin. She shook her head as she answered, "I don't remember how I got here."

"Why's the name of where you came from a secret though?" She curiously asked.

 

[Furioso]

Raz was about to answer Nina, but caught himself. "Well you see... wait, I didn't really think about it, but maybe it isn't such a big secret. I mean they SAY it's top secret... but they give out these pamphlets..." said Raz as he reached into his jacket and pulled out a couple of pamphlets. On the front, in big bold letters was "WHISPERING ROCK PSYCHIC SUMMER CAMP," surrounding a logo of a campground with a big floating brain.

"I guess I never really thought about it. Anyways, nice to meet ya Nina! And what about you, what's your name?"

"I am Lady Candy Ayers, of Saxom's noble House of Ayers. A pleasure." Candace told Raz, hand on the hilt of her blade and speaking as regally as possible.

 

[Furioso]

"I... don't know what any of those places are. Sounds fancy though, nice to meet you!" said Raz enthusiastically.

"I've almost had enough of this" Dalahar said in an almost exhausted tone. As rasputin arrived he had glanced away from his observations of Ella, monitoring the situation to know when to jump in. He was pretty sure walking in the general direction of them would suffice to disarm them. Glancing back at Rasputin he said "welcome. Call me Dalahar Tresh. Word bearer astartes"
