"Pleased to meet you, Raz." She said, smiling. "My name is Shana. And the portal I went through looked like a glowing ring with an image of this world." Her tail wagged lazily in the air.

Raz looked up at Dalahar. "Woah, are you like, a robot or something?" said Raz, walking around him. Turning back to Shana, he said "Nice to meet you. I like your tail... so do weird things in the world usually fall into portals to Canada?"

"Very fancy, I assure you." Candace said smugly.

The owner thought for a second, then nodded. "Yeah, I think so." He then glanced at the employee Ella had first spoken with, who also nodded.
"I did that one. He's a friend of mine." the employee stated.

"I'm Fernand." said Fernand. "I'm a local here, but I help the blind one standing before the tattoo parlor now, Anik," he pointed at her, "to find her way around."

"Theres flesh under all this, I assure you. Just thick battle plate" he said

 

[Furioso]

Raz greeted everyone else, saying "Nice to meet you all. Cool names." before looking back at Dalahar. "So its some kind of modern knight armor? Awesome! ...How do you get through doors?"

Dalahar grunted with disdain. "I don't"'he said roughly "and I don't think I should go around destroying buildings just trying to get in them. I was used to everything on a legion ship being astartes size, I'd forgotten how small humans were." Feeling a bit more cheerful he then said "A bit more advanced than the Knights of old terra but it's the same idea, only power armour doesn't restrict mobility as much. What are you meant to be?"

 

[Furioso]

"I....Understood about half of what you said, but it sounded pretty neat. Why don't you just get out of the armor to get in buildings? As for what I am meant to be, I... AM A PSYCHONAUT" said Raz, pulling the goggles over his eyes and striking a pose.

"I see..." Ella said, looking down for a moment as she wondered what to say. She did not usually deliver the bad news, but now felt that it was necessary. For one thing, the employee could confirm the identity of the man. "Could we please continue this conversation somewhere more private? All three of us?"

The owner nodded, then led Ella and the employee into his office.

Raz stumbled out of his pose on learning that no one knew what a Psychonaut was. "Aw cmon, really? You've never heard of us? Psychic soldiers, Paranormal Paratroopers, Mental Marines? The International Secret Agents who soar across the astral plane, waging psychic warfare against the enemies of free thought!?" he said, pulling his goggles back over his head. Responding to Dalahar, he said "Still not sure what you're talking about, but it still sounds pretty cool."

"I know that feeling" Dalahar said. "The Legiones astartes are the most devastating militairy force the Galaxy has ever known, but no one here has heard of them. It is......humbling to say the least" with that he glanced st the others around him. Viyang, Shana, Candace. He had never noticed much concern of their plight as he. To them it seemed like this as another step, as easy to take as the last. He felt slightly ashamed that he had been affected so much, that he was still having a hard time accepting the fact he wasn't in his own universe anymore. His body gene forged into a killing machine, the daemon within him. All of that couldn't help him cope with this drought of purpose. Put simply, he was distraught and even jealous of those he travelled with.

Calming down quickly after getting startled, once Fernand turned towards Raz, Kuki looked the boy over.

"I'm Kuki!"

they chimed in when the group was introducing themselves to Raz.

After, Kuki listened to Raz talk, particularly his conversation with Dalahar, half the terms the two mentioned going over their head.

When Fernand turned to where Anik stood to indicate who he was accompanying, Kuki looked back to the store, seeing Ella move with the owner, and employee.
