Montreal, Tattoo Parlour. March 2nd.​

On hearing Raz say he used the doorway, and lost it, Kuki was confused. They looked down to Raz for a moment, then glanced around the area, looking for his psycho-portal, then back to Raz when they couldn't spot it.

"I don't see anything like that, but my eyes aren't the best.

I don't get it, though? You said your abilities didn't require any external devices, so why would you need this portal? Is this... mind delving different from your other abilities?"

 

[Gearhead mk2]

"Perhaps you should experience this new world?" Candace offered.

 

[Furioso]

Raz sighed. "Shoot, Agent Nein isn't gonna be happy... I hope those things aren't expensive. And no, my powers still don't require a device, you just need a Psycho-Portal for the astral projection power to be able to get into someones mind. I haven't had a lesson yet on how they actually work, though. Maybe we just need like a focusing point or something." mused Raz.

 

[Vakra jal]

"i don't know. I was sent away but Lorgar didn't hate me, he understood. He told me I could never return that I never should bear something like that, that he would save all of his sons of he could"
He then spoke to Candace "perhaps I will, maybe after we are done here I will travel, see what it has to offer"

 

[Kirke]

Ella sighed and asked; "What is it that you think I know?"

 

[Silence]

"I hope you'll be fine here, or find a place, then." Fernand said, "You know, despite Earth First existing, aliens (if I may call you that) are mostly welcome here. Many want to learn about such different cultures, too."

Anik got increasingly nervous, not hearing from Ella, and nothing else happening.

"I see. I must admit, I having trouble imagining any of this.

Anyway, there is a shelter for displaced people like most here, not far away. If you stay there, I'd very much like to see a demonstration of your other abilities. If that's okay with you, of course"

, Kuki said.

"I'd ask for a demonstration, now, but this isn't really the time."

 

[Furioso]

Raz nodded at Kuki. "Sure, no problem... what is going on here anyways?"

 

[ShindoL Shill]

The employee scowled up at Ella, then flipped the desk into the air. As it rotated, in caught fire, startling the owner and causing him to panic. "This was all very fun but I'm going to go now, okay?" the man said, as his hair slowly started to burn. He pushed Ella aside, and kicked the door off its hinges as he exited the office.

 

[Chungus]

Montreal, Tattoo Parlour. March 2nd.​

"We're helping investigate the deaths of two people, believed to be murder. The officer is in that building behind us, questioning people there. Said building is affiliated to a counter-movement that hates anyone not native to this planet, which is why all of us are waiting outside"

, Kuki explained, calmly. They didn't hear the commotion going on inside the tattoo parlour.

 

[Kirke]

Ella kicked back, pushing her chair back and out of the way before springing to her feet. She didn't fight back as the man pushed her aside, but while he kicked down the door she was raising her blaster rifle. Setting it to stun, she fired at his back as he exited. It was like a crack of thunder inside the small office as a blue bolt of energy shot out against the man.

"That would probably be best." she told Tresh.

 

[Vakra jal]

Dalahars autosenses flared up. Breaking all thoughts he drifted as he had done so many times into a state of total focus. "CONTACT" he boomed "ELLA IS UNDER ATTACK, MOVING IN"
With that he began to sprint towards the tattoo parlour, ground shaking beneath his weight. This. This is what he lives

Montreal, Quebec, Canada. March 2nd, 2025
- Tattoo Parlour -​

Anik heard parts of the commotion inside the tattoo parlour. She kicked in the door, clicked and walked inside, taking a battle stance, by turning her body to the side and hands up, protecting her head. Both of them had water swirling around them.

"What is going on here?!" she called.

 

[ShindoL Shill]

The man was struck by the bolt of energy, and immediately his body burst into flames. However, rather than appear charred, his skin seemed perfectly fine under the fire. He stopped moving, and collapsed against the wall. At that time, one of the customers, a tall, well-built woman, came running towards the office. Rather than punch or kick Ella, she instead pounced and attempted to bite Ella like a dog.

Outside, the others would likely hear the commotion, and through the windows the might see the woman rush off. The other patrons in the parlour fell to their knees and began yelling and snarling. Most began behaving like the woman, however a few caught fire.

When the group rushed in, they would find their way barred by a wall off burning, animalistic tattooed people.

 

[Furioso]

Raz nodded along to Kuki, but gasped as Dalahar shouted. "This is it, my first mission as a new Psychonaut!" he said as he followed Dalahar, putting on his goggles in the process.

 

[Vakra jal]

Like a bull Dalahar braces one shoulder and smashed through the window side of the tattoo parlour, ending up a small distance away from Anik. His Volkite charger ready, he scanned his vision of the animalistic patrons. His first instinct was to shoot. Any sudden movements would be met with superheated Volkite beams

 

[Kirke]

Ella fired again, gritting her teeth against the sound and recoil of the high-power weapon, and moved forward towards the entrance of the office. Taking her hand from the trigger temporarily, she opened a channel with Dalahar; "NON-LETHAL ONLY! REPEAT, NON-LETHAL ONLY!" - She yelled, partially to hear herself over the ringing in her ears.

 

[Gearhead mk2]

Candace followed the others in, drawing her sword, a finely crafted and decorated rapier. Hearing the cry for no deaths, she tried to pick a nearby target in the burning shop.

- Tattoo Parlour -​

Not getting a coherent answer, but hearing and feeling snarling and burning people blocking her way, Anik began kicking at them, hard enough to knock over whoever stood in her way. She also splashed chunks of water at everything around her, trying to fan the flames.
This way, she tried to get through to Ella.

Fernand stood back, watching and being quite scared.
