A few moments after Dalahar had walked off with Ella, Kuki placed his clawed feet on the edge of Anik's pocket, pulling themselves up a little.

"Well, Anik, I'd like to investigate this case of sudden ignition, but options there seem really limited. So, maybe we can go to this travel station, instead? Maybe they can point us to points of interest!"

"Hmm ..." Anik made. "I hope Dalahar stays in control.
But we could do that, only ... there are probably signs to the station, right? Can you read them? I wasn't paying too much attention walking downtown from there."
Hearing Ed, Anik replied to him: "The big man is possessed by a demon. He seems to be kinda confused about it. He went feral a while ago, he is fearing the same might happen again."

Ella stepped back, looking over her shoulder and shouting to any civilians to get clear. Then she looked back at Dalahar and raised her blaster rifle. After a moment's consideration, she switched it to full power. "Talk to me, Dalahar." - She said, with a slight wavering to her voice. She considered calling for backup, but the nearest ETR (Extradimensional Threat Response) Squad was stationed in Ottawa and couldn't possibly reach in time. Does the local police have any laser weapons? Do laser weapons even work against his armour? Merde, I should have checked earlier!

Agonising minutes later the Dalahar thing stopped convulsing and shifting. Once again it bore a monstrous appearance, horrid and wrong. A vestigial tail formed of his spine twitched vigorously one movement before becoming still the next, the rest of his spine having deformed and erupted through his armour as a ridge bone that smouldered with a deep orange fire. The serrated sun on his right shoulder bore fangs and numerous spines and horns jutted from his body. His armour had grown and twisted like diseased flesh and now covered his Weapons that he had worn on his thigh. Raptor like likes ended in clawed hooves once more , his helmet now a snarling face with burning coals for eyes. Vapour and drool slicked from his open maw as he panted.
He was he this time. No it. Rather than wrestle the daemon he had embraced it, embraced the truth.

Anik was quite confused about the sudden disappearance of Edward. She stopped, thinking. From where she was, she could listen to Ellie and Dalahar, even though she wasn't very close. As she heard him speak, she sighed. "Seems like he knows what he is doing." she spoke, most to herself.
"I guess we can get some help for smoking people instead." she said, as she pulled out her phone, and started to dial Lambda's number.
She listened more, while waiting for Lambda to pick up.
