"Light thinks it travels faster than anything but it is wrong. No matter how fast light travels, it finds the darkness has always got there first, and is waiting for it."
[small]-Terry Pratchett [/small]
The darkness is as alive as the light. As flames flickered, dimmed and brightened, so did the darkness. As fire coats the world, the darkness flees. As the cold snuff out the lights, the darkness returns. As light seek, and look, and think...
The darkness thinks. The darkness
dreams.
Sometimes, The Darkness has nightmares.
The darkness is scared of the light. The light that claws it it, tears it apart. It scans the room that it's landed in. The room it swears it has never known. A feeling of fear crawls on it's skin, but it overcomes. It shapes itself.
A knight of nightmares. Hidden in darkness, unseen. Watching. Feeling scared.
Yet it feels something else. The fear others hold for it. The fear that they have. It holds onto it, grappling to it like a man to his life.
And it looks around, to see where it resides.
OoC: (Highlight to read OoC) Figure I'd give going through the thread a shot. Just place the nightmare knight someplace random, anywhere will do. Want to just give myself a moment to figure out what's going on, and this is vague enough. How much do people fear the dark here?
