Meh, I'm okay with the subjects in my school. Except for gardening. Learning how to use obsolete equipment to complete the GARDENER'S CHORES should not be considered a school subject!!!
well i suppose using ome of those Antique lawnmowers is practice for zombies?

1. I never called the evolutionary theory a guess, I just said it still has a few holes.
2. Don't tell m to stop explaining a subject and then continue to rant about said subject in the most unrelated manner possible.
3. Theory is not as good as fact, it's is just an observation of patterns(as you said) that if we find hold up under certain various circumstances, will become a "law" which have also been shown to be sometimes inconsistent and even completely wrong at times. In other words, it completely depends on our ability to understand and comprehend as humans.
4.The fact that gravity exists is accepted as fact? No Way! I had no idea! Thank you for informing me of something so freakin obvious. Seriously, what were you trying to accomplish with that statement, it reinforced nothing you had to say.
5. Don't bother me again with rants telling me stuff I already know and condemning me for no reason, saying I'm uneducated in some field. Even though it's true, you are obviously no more so.
OT: I thought of another subject I really want in my school.
Internet etiquette.
I seriously think this should be part of the computer classes. I think this would prevent alot of stupid from getting on the forums.

We need to have a class on training and developing psychic powers, just for shits and giggles.

Blah to all of them.

Just bring back Dodgeball and make it a Olympic sport.

Nothing will bring the cold war back sooner than pelting a glasses wearing russain with those red pleated balls.

We need a "Dealing with other, different, human beings amicably" lesson.

The isolation from socialization which the modern world allows means people in general (and the younger generation in particular, I have noticed) have a very hard time dealing with other people.

I'd say some form of martial arts, likely junior high or later.

Some form of self defense and discipline anyway.
Either this, or I'd like to have psychology or philosophy as a subject.
we have something they call Philosophy, but it sucks. so yeah, they should take it serious

Wow, someone miss read what I posted and has been eating their bile sandwiches this morning.

My point was that when science calls something a theory it is not an insult or saying it is a best guess. It is called "evolutionary theory" as the evidence and data supporting it is sound. There is no need to stop using the word theory, it is just that some people don't understand what it means.

I didn't rant, I just copied and pasted a statement by the American Association for the Advancement of Science clearing things up. At no point did I tell you to stop explaining. At what point were you "condemned"?

More physical education. And for the love of God, improve the math system. The way they teach kids here makes me want to cry. Most kids in this down don't actually realize that 2+3=5. (I wish I was making this up.)

Zombie survival. Seriously think about that, a course that would encompass first-aid, firearms practice, survival skills, logical thinking and strength training all under a medium many kids would be interested in. Plus every so often in order to learn the basics of a zombie apocalypse in class they'd have to watch all the classics like brain dead, evil dead (I guess Furburts in now), shaun of the dead, 28 days later...
Seriously speaking, first-aid should be taught in schools. A few tricks at an accident site could be helpful enough to save people's lives, limbs or organs, if applied correctly before the ambalamps get there.

Other than that.. I dunno.

Well first find a way to expand the budget, then you may talk about expanding the curriculum. These classes dont teach themselves.

I for one think they should bring back metal shop to most schools. Either way im not in highschool anymore so meh.
We had metal works in our school :p
I think some more emphasis needs to be put into real world knowledge, for example learning basic auto mechanics, changing your tire and checking the oils etc, things people really do need to know in our society.

Psychology would be awesome, but I doubt most kids would appreciate it.
Actually at my old school psychology was one of the most popular classes.

Given the nature of worthwhile self defense classes, they don't get past health and safety.

I think driving should be taught during school for a-level (17+) students, incorporating the Swedish(?) style, learning for a year, maybe two and then taking the test. If you saw the top gear (UK) episode where May went to Sweden you'd know why.

Basic first aid would be useful.
