Thats not denial, thats 'OMG drugs are bad for You? gasp! I didnt know! If only I had realised sooner...'
Of course I know.
Well, why are we arguing? We've reached a mutual agreement.

Also, if you did know, why did you do it?

The thing about weed is, there is something called an overdose level for all drugs. I forget the technical name for this I have forgotten, the point is it doesn't even have an overdose level, doesn't cause longterm effects unless taken VERY heavily over a long period of time (That has not even been confrimed,) and has medical use. Banning it is simply stupid, and people still do it all over the place. I don't personally, but I don't see the harm apart from that it's illegal.

Weed isnt bad, the only thing is that when people are given the chance to legaly smoke it, they smoke so much that it causes serrious damage to their brains, and because of that damage they dont even know<.<
Also, the thing why its ilegal is not that its a serrious harm as it is, but as with alcohol, it makes you high...so high that you may run infront of a Bus or onto a Highway or jump of a cliff because you at the moment think its funny...and trust me, ive done a lot of stupid stuff when i was drunk that seemed like a good idea then even tho i was fully concious<.<

So the thing is, its not "Bad" for you, but the "high-effect" causes your logic and self-saving senses to snap so you might hurt yourself...and thats what a government doesnt need as bad PR...

As with all "preventive executives" our governments seem to be into nowadays, they dont apply too all...

Like Voilent games that COULD make kids to serial killers.
As with weed, that COULD harm you someway...

No one ever died of a weed overdose.
You can't possible know that >.>
My opinion: Never tried it, never will. Not only weed I'm also talking cigarettes and any other sort of narcotics.

It's a bit like getting drunk, except instead of everything getting blurry, it becomes High-Def, and for some reason pretzels and jam taste very good together.

How do I feel about it? I never been arrested over weed. I smoke weed. Been smoking for damn near 10 years. I got a job. I got a roof over my head. I got internet. I dont see what the problem is with some people. But hey everyone is entitled to their opinion.
Well you are one of the smart and intillegent ones I bet. Most of the people I know who smoke it, barely pass the grade they're in. It just makes them to lazy to do anything, but you, I'm sure you've done work. Most people don't.
Are you absolutely sure about that? Be careful not to confuse symptoms and causes. I dont know these people so I cant really judge, but if they didnt have weed, would they be out drinking beer instead and just lazing about failing school whatever? Be difficult to tell either way.

I know a lot of people who smoke weed, in fact I know very few people who dont, pretty much all of them have a job, rent their own house, a couple have mortgages and are married. You tend to go in for things in a more intense way when your a kid, and sitting around in school is never popular. Once people grow up a bit they tend to get out of the 'sitting around all day, playing on the playstation' routine.
Yea about that, You're probably right with that, if they didn't have weed they'd probably be out drinking and getting hurt, but about that.....they already found beer. They don't get drunk as much as they get high, but they still get drunk.

What about yourself, though, Evil Raven665?
My thoughts, I would have to say I don't mind it. I, personally, can't stand the smell of it. I smell it a lot and its a terrible smell. But I don't mind if people do it, just as long as they don't try to get me to do it. And about legalization or not. I don't think it should because then all the pot smokers, who I'm guessing are a lot of teenagers, early twenties, who are still in school, will smoke it everyday. Probably drop out and not get a proper education to actually get a good job and get a life. So I don't think it should be legalized.

I'm going to try and clear a few things up here. People are speculating without sources.
These two links are related to Marijuana use and how they impair driving skills:
http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/1999/03/990325110700.htm Short link
http://norml.org/index.cfm?Group_ID=7459 This is a longer study with plenty of other interesting articles on the site.
Those who have smoked Marijuana and decide to drive are a lot more careful about what they are doing. The paranoia that you get makes you more cautious, it certainly makes me more cautious. Although they are impaired by the drug, they are aware of it and seek to compensate by being aware of this. I couldn't find any graphs, there aren't many tests carried out on illicit substances, which is quite silly.

97% of drug related deaths are from legal drugs, according to this source:
http://newsrogue.com/97-of-drug-deaths-from-legal-drugs/.
The majority of deaths caused by illegal drugs are due to impurities in the drug - if you are used to street quality heroin and you shoot up, your usual amount, with some high-grade stuff you are going to die.If the government controlled drugs then there would be a standard purity, this would reduce the percentage of deaths caused by the substances.
People are also killed over, large scale, drug deals because the market is in the hands of criminals.

I hope people will take this into account before making ill-informed statements and claiming them as facts without proof. At least give sources if you are going to make claims. To finish off, people aren't likely to, purposely, lace marijuana with other drugs because it's a waste of money. People don't pay extra for laced weed, the dealer would be throwing his money away. Dealers aren't stupid, for the most part, they are business men.
