It shouldn't be illegal in my opinion. So many people's lives have been ruined over smoking something that isn't half as dangerous as cigarettes. And the thing is, you can usually still function while stoned, at least better than when drunk.
Well, I don't know any of this firsthand, however. I'm staying away from any chemical. I can't imagine any of the stuff to be good for ya. Even if I did want to try it, I'm at a pivotal time in my life in terms of education and career, so I'd never dare risk it on a joint.

I like the thought of marijuana, but I have no way to access it, nor do I wish to be a ***** in some jail, so I'd like it legalized so I can give it a go.
And on the level needed to overdose... if I ever met someone who could smoke that much, I don't think I'd be on the ground, if you know what I mean.

The only reason it's illegal is because the government can't tax it.

Well I'm sorry I don't like the search button...it doesn't amuse me.
Reading peoples opnions on shit does. So I'd rather start a new thread that's already been done and read new people's opinions and go look for the old one and read there posts. I actually want to have a conversation.

I'm completely for it. Been getting baked since my sophomore year, and I still have a 3.4 GPA so I really don't think it is affecting my brain in any bad ways.
Only problem I can see is for someone with a really low resting heart beat (Me being one of them) if they smoke a lot in one go (Like a G and a half of chronic in one hit
) you can feel like your heart is at 1 beat a minute... kinda scared me, not going to do that one again
Back on my stance, its all good but if you have adverse effects, DON'T DO IT.

I am leaning towards the legal side with restrictions to the likes of tobacco products, but maybe 17 because Cannabis is less harmful than the carcinogens cigarettes.

getting high is kinda fun, get slightly light headed, s little numbness that spreads over your body, and (it depends on the drug) a euphoric feeling, it can vary as to how long if lasts, usually (for the stuff around here) about half an hour from a couple hits. sometimes it can last a lot longer.

Huh...no one cares about Mexico? Really? I only keep up with the news down there intermittently, and even I know that the country is tearing itself apart because of the drug trade. I would not be surprised to learn that a number of other countries suffer from serious police and corruption issues.
That said, I'm not against weed per se. I'm against the current supply system that has resulted in the ruination of so many lives. I think weed itself is probably more innocuous than alcohol. I also believe that if it were legalized, use would go down. Legitimate business, more importantly, would result in the almost immidiate destruction of the current marijuana black market, which I care more about than a bunch of potheads.
Sadly for all of us, I'm not in the position to make that decision. And until something changes, I strongly refuse to support the destruction of peace and safety in other countries because I feel like getting high. And I wish other people would make that decision as well.

Well, I would never do any sort of narcotic simply because I hate the dizzy/don't know what's going on/feeling stupid thing that "soft" drugs do, I don't do meth and crack because it ravages your body, outside of that it would good for certain occations(like, cleaning the grout in the tile or sprinting). But all things put into the "Drugs" category are bad for you or just do that feeling described earlier; or both. So I find them to be for people who don't enjoy this world enough, but suck at video games and (other) geeky activities. To summarize:
