It was an asian student, of course, not really sure how to compliment in English despite knowing how to speak it. So he tried explaining it to me... "you kind of... look like a knight. Like a knight looks. Is that a compliment, or are you unhappy?" I was kind of shaggy back then, so I guess he was trying to say that in a good way. I said that's fine, and then I started thinking about it.
"A knight, eh? I rather like that." The more I think about it, the more badass that compliment sounds!
