My Mother beat me awake with a thick leather belt because she didn't like my grades, when I was in High School.

One of my dogs had not only gotten in bed with me and gotten under the covers but had wriggled up the back of my shirt. I awoke to him licking one of my ears.... his nose was poking out of my collar.

For me, being poked with a sword...ah, my sister.

For my sister there are two:

1)Waking up with a strange man in her room, it was someone working on the fire-alarm system.

2)Her new baby kitten suckling...on her...yeah, I'd have nightmares too.

Panic attack thinking I was about to die. Or when I had tonsilitis and I woke up gasping for breath because my throat was swollen shut.

Had a far too realistic dream which resulted in me getting shot in the head and bleeding out. Upon waking up I felt sickly, cold, sweaty, numb and shaken. It was a few hours before I felt normal again.

WHAT IN THE WIDE LAND OF FUCK IS THAT THING!?!

Holy shit that is just, freaky as all hell. You must be in Australia or something, that's just....UGH. I'm not even Arachnophobic but that thing would just freak the shit outta me.

I've had a 150lb dog jump on me before, not fun. That and rolling over onto a push pin.

Captcha also Weappea

Covered in shaving foam, from head to toes, and with a writing on my forehead saying what it roughly translates to "yep, he is that wasted". Lesson learned: Never be the first one to fall while drinking with friends.

The waking part? They threw a bucket of freezing water on top of me..."to wash the foam away"

Lets see... My brother, who was probably a 40 kilos or so, was told to wake me up for breakfast. So he carefully climbed onto the foot of my bed, jumped niiice and high, and knee-slammed on my chest.

Getting a shuriken thrown in your cheek is pretty high up in my list of bad ways to wake up.

Luckily, my brothers (who threw the thing) first taped me to the couch, so it wasn't all bad.

Oh wait, it was.

I work at a radio station, and I have my alarm set to just be the station, because nothing wakes me up quite like hearing my co-workers talking in the same room as me. Well, one of my shifts is 6 AM to noon on Sunday, which means I have to be up at 5 to get ready and in there on time. It's very important that I'm in on time, since the shift right before me is pre-recorded, so if I don't show up, there's no one there to keep the system from pausing.

I woke up one Sunday to a weird hissing sound. As I glanced around the room, I noticed the clock, which said it was about 6:15, which meant the hissing I was hearing was the dead air where the station was supposed to be playing. The only thing worse than being late for work is knowing that half the state can tell you were caught sleeping in.

I think the worst for me was waking up on the 1st of september and realising that I hadn't had a lie in the entire summer That was a bad day.

A stranger gently shaking me in the middle of a Subway restaurant, and my mom freaking the FUCK out off to the side. I'd fainted waiting in line. Apparently it's a common thing for adolescents to do, hypoglycemia and all.
I had that the other day. I was lying in bed browsing this very site and went into my brothers room to get some headphones off him. I got a head rush (it happens to me a lot) but it was bad and I blacked out in his doorway. I dreamt I'd got into bed so when I woke up on his floor 3 seconds later I wondered how I'dd gone from my bed at night to his floor in the middle of the day and bright sunlight. I thought I'd sleep walked over there or something despite never having sleep walked before. Apparently the look of absolute confusion on my face when I awoke was hilarious!

The less fun time I blacked out was a few years ago on my birthday. I'd gotten Pokemon Diamond so had spent several hours straight sitting down playing it. I then got up and left the carpeted sitting room with padded chairs and entered the wood floored dining room with hard chairs (can you see where this is going yet?) I blacked out and hit my head on the chair on the way down. I also had a dream about pokemon which ended with my crying as my pikachu was taken away. I then woke up crying with a lump on the side of my head big enough to push my glassses out. The bruise bled through to my eye! :D

This was a lot longer than I expected! Sorry for the wall-0-text guys!

Rolling over into a cold pool of my own vomit? Uch. It almost put me off drinking (or at least drinking that heavily).

My alarm clock went off, using the radio as the alarm, so I was jolted awake by one of Obama's speeches. Oddly terrifying o.o
