Star Fox Assault is good for a week-long rental maybe.

Yeah, but I'd still get it, just because Gamecube games are so cheap right now and it probably won't be on store shelves too much longer. For $50, screw it, but a used copy at Gamestop, maybe.Flying-Emu said:IT'S A TRAP!DaMan1500 said:Super Mario Sunshine, Metroid Prime 1 & 2, Pikmin, and maybe Star Fox Assault.

WTF, am I the only person on Earth that likes that movie?Another 2maro said:A game to NEVER EVER FUCKING BUY! Is Aquaman... thee WORST game ever made in the history of time and space. It's like the pluto nash of the video game world.
As did I. It was too easy though, and no replayability as i don't like replaying games that are just mirrored (here's looking at you, Ape Escape II *shudder*, even if you do get to play as Spike).Roamin11 said:Luigi's mansion...... I Liked it.....
a new version of metroid prime is coming out for the wii, all the metroid prime games but updated for wii controls and the wii aiming in prime 3 worked really wellDaedalus1942 said:No shame in that. I paid $40 for a gamecube, just so i could play Starfox adventures and both the metroid primes.mikecoulter said:I just ordered myself a Gamecube. After never having one, and getting more and more into older games I decided "why not?".
Looks kind of fun, some nice games out for it, I'll be on the lookout for Legend Of Zelda: The Twilight Princess, Burnout 2, Super Smash Bro's, F - Zero GX and it comes with Tony Hawks Underground.
Any other suggestions?
Also, have you purchased a last gen console recently?
That's great, and when it becomes very cheap in say 4 years, I'll probably buy it just for prime 3 and Metroid M, but at the moment, I have no interest in the Wii, at all (not even for Monster Hunter 3, the next in the series that I love.)Worgen said:a new version of metroid prime is coming out for the wii, all the metroid prime games but updated for wii controls and the wii aiming in prime 3 worked really wellDaedalus1942 said:No shame in that. If you read the review that is liked to Gamespot, one of the games you might "like" is Superman 64. Seriously, that was on the list on the side.Nimbus said:Really? I thought this [http://www.metacritic.com/games/platforms/pc/bigrigsovertheroadracing?q=] was the worst of all time. I mean, hell, Aquaman got a 27% score. This got an 8!
You know what makes DD much more fun? Playing the coop races with 3 other people. Its mad fun trying to coordinate to beat the enemy, and that beats the 64 version anydayNazulu said:I agree with you on Mario Kart Wii. You know whats really sad though? Oh please, the game play in Mario Kart Wii is piss poor and they took out the battle mode, thats a fail right there.Douk said:You know what makes DD much more fun? I'll be honest here, I think this game had a lot of potential but wasn't too good. :/WayOutThere said:2) Robotech Battlecry- This is a lengthy game that is also a very rewarding challenge. The mechanics of it leave something to be desired but the rewarding experience of final winning a mission overcomes that.
Well, I've been trawling the internet for a day or two and finally settled for one I found on eBay.theSovietConnection said:Where did you get the Gamecube, if I might ask?mikecoulter said:*snip*
Anyway, I recommend Timesplitters Future Perfect. Best damn fun I've had with split screen multiplayer in ages.
Well, I'd accept it if you're willing!Flunk said:Christ, they're worth so little resale you could just have had mine for free.
Hmm, okay. I only asked because my local Wal Mart still sells Gamecubes. Been ages since they've sold the games, but they still stock the Gamecubes.mikecoulter said:Well, I've been trawling the internet for a day or two and finally settled for one I found on eBay.
Battle mode IS a little lame in Wii, but there's a way to make it 1 on 1. If you know how. And the gameplay is different, are you one of those people who hate the removal of snaking? It was a good idea to get rid of that gamebreaking strategy.Nazulu said:Oh please, the game play in Mario Kart Wii is piss poor and they took out the battle mode, thats a fail right there.Douk said:You know what makes DD much more fun? Well yeah, it's all about the game play to me. It just feels less strategic and the fact that the overpowered weapons come so often makes the game more about luck than ever before.Douk said:Battle mode IS a little lame in Wii, but there's a way to make it 1 on 1.
