I hope this thread idea hasn't already been taken, but uhm, this was meant to be where people name games they just couldn't get into
For me it'd have to be Mass Effect and Lost Odyssey, Mass Effect because I couldn't care less about the story line and just wanted to go shoot some aliens, Lost Odyssey because the combat was dire in my opinion at least.

I'm assuming it has been taken.

I couldn't get into KOTOR myself, the game just...I don't know, I couldn't make myself like it.

Why did you even think of playing Mass Effect then?
You should play Gears of War, that game seems right up your alley.
Oh, and try to get a save file near the beginning of the game, not start a new game, there is some dialogue and an opening cutscene in Gears of War.

Also, didn't you, right when you jumped into the game, have an opportunity to shoot aliens?
The game dropped you almost right away on a planet where you had to fight, after you just told Joker (whatever his name was) to go there.

I bought LittleBigPlanet.
And I was bored of it an hour later.
I mean, the game may be "wooh, innovative, share creations wutevvar", but it was just so...boring to me.

Lmao, this may sound weird, but I played Gears of War, and it just seemed like mindless violence, which, ok, was fun for a couple of hours, but for a full game it got a bit tedious, I'm kind of a strange mix and hard to please more often than not, I was also recommended Mass Effect by a friend, and when I say reccomended I meant I borrow it for a week or two.

Halo 3. I like it, I just didn't engage with it. The story, the mechanics... it all just leaves me cold.

Mass effect became very repetitive half way through and I couldn't finish it. However I liked it more than Fallout 3 which is as good as the movie indiana jones and the crystal skull.

I'm interested, what FPS's do you like? Cause you've kinda destroyed both ends of the spectrum there XD

Team Fortress 2, I know it doesn't have a story, but it's fun, COD4 impressed me, Frontlines: Fuel of War was ok (see my review in the review section) and that's about it really, I do like FPS's, but it just seems nowadays it's one extreme to the other, both of which I dislike D:

erm, Halo 3, I went and played it at my uncles house because I was babysitting and didn't fancy doing my homework. I wish I had done my homework.

Far Cry 2, the game just bored me to death. I felt like I was being forced to do everything in that game rather than wanting to do it. The whole Africa setting for me didn't work, crazy gunmen around every corner. Waste of £20.

Metal Gear Solid 3, I don't know why I bought it, I haven't played the others and wasn't even interested in playing it. Not so much a waste of my life as I played it for less than 10 minutes, more a waste of money. Just one of those inexplicable impulse buys.
