Well... I can't say I've done anything. Wouldn't mind to help a bit more, but it's just no real opportunity pops up for me.

As for being notable... I blend in pretty well. After all, blending in is what we Sophisticated Blobs do best! Then we attack and... well... it gets pretty graphic after that point... and horrible.

Honestly, I don't think I've had any real impact. Sure, I may post a lot, but I've never done anything particularly noteworthy. While I'd like to think that I help make some forum games popular in their own section, I think that's just imagined importance.
And I can't really think of anything I'd want to change...I'm happy with the site as is.
What do you mean, you have no good impact? You're a forum role-model! If anyone tries to snark at me, saying something to the effect that, "People with high post counts are always snarky and quip-tastic," I point at you and go, "This guy is Neo'd, and is as friendly as they come! He comes up with good posts, too."
I have never seen you make an inflammatory post, in all my days at the 'Scapist. You keep the bar high!

Me? I don't think I do much, really. All I really do here is complain and get people riled up whenever I change my avatar from the white mage.
I wish I could encourage more premeditation before posting, however.
*sniff*
That's...so sweet.
*hugs*
To be honest, up until 5,000 posts, I was pretty snarky. But that changed as time passed. I'm flattered you think of me that way though.
See? You're SO adorable! Awww, so cute!

I'd be amazed if anyone actually reads my posts. I'm utterly uninfluential. And yes, that's a word now.

I'd like to see a few things changed - I want PC gamers to accept that their preference for keyboard and mouse does not magically make it better than a controller. I want people to have at least a passing knowledge of the shite that has been produced in previous generations before they state as fact that motion controls are responsible for shovelware (and that goes double for actual contributers...) and I want this site to earn the title of 'intelligent website', because it has nothing to do with snarkily correcting people's grammar or pointing out typos...

...I can dream, right?

I don't cause any impact.

Except that one time of the Escapist TF2 server when I was pissing PAYJ off by destroying his teleporters.

I am mostly invisible.

I...MOD?
If I have an impact, it's all in the background with the moddings.
I used to be way more active when I was a regular member, but it's hard to keep it that way when you're a MOD.
People treat you different. Well, not everyone, but certainly some.
And since I don't post as much anymore, I'm kind of in the background.
The only thing I really contribute is Listener Mail, which people seem to enjoy.
I'm content with that.

Well, I wouldn't change the escapist much anyway, except maybe to have a good show on thursday.

As for my impact as a whole, do any of you know who I am?

...

...

Well, there's your answear.

I dunno, I at least recognize your avatar, that's something right?

better than nothing and now i will recognize you avatar forever.

Next to no impact or even less than that. Probably because I try to read back over what I'm about to post to see if its ban worthy before posting it. If I could make one change it would be to make questions in the quizzes most notably the recent survival one less american centric. I mean, I don't even have bears in my country and you can survive for a very, very long time without shelter here depending on the time of year. Also it might be nice to have one of those thumbs up/ thumbs down systems for rating posts or users. So that people who start trollish threads rather than getting actual angry replies get the level effort they deserve and when people say something interesting but you have nothing to add to it you have a way of letting them know that it was good/interesting.

Well, I can't seem to find it either.
It was a Saints Row 2 review and I am 100% sure I posted it, but I can't find the thread.
EDIT: Found it [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/326.170620-JourneyThroughHell-fails-at-keeping-the-reader-interested-a-k-a-a-Saints-Row-2-review#4664363].
That was a time when I didn't know how to edit reviews to make them look good so postive feedback was surprising.

My Impact? Erm... somewhere between none and alot. Honestly, I don't do much.

Calumon: Do people even know me?
I think everyone knows the two'er'yer.
Love it or hate it really. But everyone together makes a community if they like it or not.

Konrad Curze said:
But yeah, as already mentioned I would kill off the elitism and totally unfoundered ego most of the community has.
I would also fix the mod staff.
Fix the mod-staff?
I'm not entirely sure how to do that. I don't suppose we can tune Mr.Funk up with a spanner of some sort.
Give Mr. Funk a robot suit. See what happens
OT: Don't think I have much of an impact...I was mentioned in the "How to rage-quit" as the sarcastic guy who will make fun of those who rage quit...that's about it.
Maybe I'm known for the WTF element my avatar has?
I guess a do show up in discussions occasionally, and make really bad attempts at humor.
What to change? Maybe if someone is reported 20 times within five minutes it's an instant ban that can be fixed only by a mod (in case trolls show up) and lose any and all elitism (PC and Console elitism, gaming choice elitism, opinion elitism, etc.
Oh, and yes, just about everyone knows Calumon for better or worse.

Search gave nothing.

Maybe it's too old or something?
I found it.
Here, I edited the post.

It didn't come up through Regular Search yet I found it quickly through Forum Search.

I think I make approximately no impact on this site. I don't think there's anything that can be done to better that site, all the problems here, those being elitism, illiteracy, and general stupidity, are simply common problems of the entire internet.

I don't impact the Escapist at all. I'm part of a couple user groups and I'm not even active in them, I've never done anything important, I doubt a lot of people even recognize me... but it sure is fun to post.

If I could change anything, I would stop the hate. People tend to hate on each other and bash each other because they believe different things, whether it is political, religious, or even games. But then again, this is the internet. Saying you want to stop the hate on the internet is like saying you want to stop all evil in the world forever. Not gonna happen.
