OOC- I know nothing about warhammer, I'm just trying to garble out enough words to make it seem like i've got a clue what's going on.
Id rather play a PiratevEnglish/brittish high seas Rp, But this is still pretty fun.
Not sure if thats a good idea. I mean my character for one would be useless, as every post I make would be along the lines of:

"ahar me hearties!"

*drinks rum*

EDIT: 3 in the morning. Can't see straight anymore. going to bed. Control my character if you need to make stuff interesting.

OOC: Good call on the sinister commentary idea, Galt. I might use that one from now on :)

"Oh, how they squirm, my Lord! How they lash at one another like rats in a trap. Are you enjoying the show, Lord T? Does all the anguish and death and torment sate your hunger?

First it was the odd one. The one who the fleshlings use to trespass in your realm. His death was quick and precise...not very entertaining at all.

Then it was the quiet one. The one who never spoke. He only gazed upon me once, but his eyes burnt like the pleasure-whips of The Prince of Excess. He almost took another with him. What a pity, another flesh-creature survives another day.

Next, thankfully, it was the soulflame. Oh, how it burned to be near him. To see the brightness of his mind so near to me, nearly made me blind. It was of great relief when his light was put out...

Still more die. They gesture and threaten and scheme and fight! Relax, my Lord, for I am certain that the performance will only become greater as time passes!"

OOC: it definitely helps that it's 40k. We can only hope for some Tau border world action next round! A good ol' Tau RP is just the thing to get me in the mood to paint up my remaining models.

Wolvaroo stalled for a moment, lost deep in thought. Suddenly, with quite a showing of agility unusual among Ogryns, thrashed about, knocking both Verendus' and Galt's Sidearms away. Verendus and Gremlin were both good comrades of his, and he wasn't about to see a gun pointed at either of them.

OOC: I'd love a pirate one. Or perhaps a Spanish inquisition one. Nobody would expect that. Ooh! Or one similar to The Thing, set down in Antarctica.

Magos Titanica Larenxis entered the bridge and looked for Ophelia. The servo-skull followed awkwardly.

Wasn't aware you youngin' types were aware of such classics. a grand idea for the next thread, but there would have to be some sort of side mechanics to force the players out of their hideout to accomplish tasks.

Also, I am from Vancouver (assuming you mean BC and not WA). I hear you've been getting quite to bit of snow (for Vancouver) lately >.>

OOC: I always felt Tau were a bit 2D actually. But then my brother used to collect them and when you've lost countless battles due to that single damn hammerhead on that damn hill you tend to get a negative opinion.. But hey, I'll join in with whatever.

Gremlin's hands dropped like a stone to the hilt of his pistol, but he did not draw it. He felt a rush of gratitude towards the Orgryn who quite possibly just saved his life. "Verendus" he said. "Look, it's now three of us against your plan to arrest me. Suspect me, sure. Hell, I don't think you can be suspicious enough right now. But if you're gonna try and enforce a justice no-one agrees with, you're gonna get shot." His words were reasonably friendly, but there was a dangerous edge to his voice. He wouldn't be so forgiving next time.

Verendus stood uneasily, eyeing his pistol on the floor, as well as Gremlin. In his mind, Gremlin was the one who did it.
"Think about this, Gremlin hates Psykers, something he's voiced while drunk a few times, and who should just happen to meet an untimely end first? A Psyker. And as for that bomb, well, he has more than enough spare parts down there to construct one, and the knowhow," he spoke quickly, eying everything in the room, but especially Gremlin.
"I don't have a motive yet, but I'm sure you inquisitorial types can.. see.. to that," he said to Galt. "Hell, you've lynched men for less evidence," He said, fixing Gremlin with a stare, "And don't threaten me, murderer. Or I'll be the one to start killing.."

Gremlin shook his head. "You're right, I admit, I don't like psykers. But I wouldn't be stupid enough to start a witch hunt against me, just to kill a few! Besides, think about it, Phar was killed with a poison dart. Where the hell would I get one of them from? All I want is to get onto this damn planet, and stretch The Gremlin's legs. Anyone could have built that bomb with the crap lying around on this ship!" There was a note of desperation in his voice. He'd just shot a man who'd been accused of being the killer. He didn't want to be next on the list.

*Kalidian woke suddenly, his muscles spasming (think that's right) and causing him to cry out in pain. He knew he couldn't lie here anymore, he felt like an invalid. He'd be damned if he was going to wait here to die, injured he may be but the truth was more important than his life, than anyone's life.

Pulling himself off of the bed he stumbled painfully over to the wash room, the cold of the tiled floor numbing his aching feet. There was a mirror and a wash basin against the far wall, "May aswell freshen up" he thought to himself as he filled the basin. Leaning on the front of the basin, Kalidian looked up into the mirror. A face, half burnt, half his own stared back at him. "So that's what happened" He muttered, as he gently touched the mass of burnt flesh where his left eye had been.

Splashing water over his face, it's cold relief stinging, Kalidian knew he had to act fast if he was going to do any good in this investigation. Pulling on his ruined clothes, he slowly made his way out of the med-bay.

Uhh, tech-priest and acolyte dead, Rain and I just shot Killion, there's now a bunch of us in the galley shouting at each other since Verendus is blaming me for being the murderer

"Until we receive proof to the contrary that Killion was innocent, I don't want any more damn conjecture on this ship. I don't want to be left with a murderer and a paranoid crew."

OOC:I'm aware of many a film. I'm a gigantic movie buff. Although his winter has been more snowy generally, this past week has actually been quite sunny and pleasant. Also, go Canucks!

Once more, the daily sleep cycle came to it?s conclusion and the ship?s crew went into their bunks. Disaster had been narrowly averted when Killion went mad and when Gremlin was accused by his comrade. But like all wounds, time has partly healed this one, at least all crew members are on speaking terms.

Down in the Guard bunks, Wolvaroo slept fitfully. Inglis seemed half-asleep and kept his rifle curled in his arms. Pie crept back into bed, checking on his ?stash? for the second time that night. Even Zen was able to get a few winks in his quarters, sparse as they may be.

A thin figure slinked through the darkness over to Wolvaroo. It bent over him and gently woke him up. Wolvaroo almost yelled but calmed down when he saw his ?sneakin? buddy?. Wolvaroo looked up expectantly, the figure before him had a strip of cloth around their face, only their eyes glittered in the dark.

?Ey der, Sneeky.? he whispered. ?Joo brings me cakes??
?Nope, not today buddy. But I need you to me a favor.? the figure?s voice was low and seemed to have a whistling quality to it.
?Anyfings fer cakes, Wolvy loves dem snacks.?
?All right, here?s the deal, I was going to give you some cake for being so good today but??
?But what???? Wolvaroo pleaded.
?But Mean Old Big Hats took your cake from me. He stole it.?
?Me never likes Mr. Big Hats.? Wolvaroo pouted.
?Me neither, that?s why I need you to go in there and smash, smash, smash!?
?Alrights, I does it later.?
?Good, I know you will.? the figure began to back away and melted into the dark. Their footsteps muffled by bare feet.

Later, Wolvaroo burst into Zen?s quarters, distraught and shouting.
?Wolvaroo, what?s going on here?? Zen calm asked.
?Grah?Sneaky Buddy sez you take cake! DA CAKE IZ A LIIIIIEEEE!!!!? Wolvaroo shouted and lunged.
Zen sidestepped the attack, the Ogryn dented the bulkhead when he landed, slightly dazed. Zen flicked a switch on his arm and soon his fist was crackling with light.
?I?ll bust your skull in for this, Wolvy!? he shouted.
?Sparky Fists no hurt Wolveh!? he cried as he grabbed the arm in mid-swing.
Zen?s armored gauntlet began to slowly burn through the Ogryn?s rough skin. Once the monster cried out in pain, Zen grabbed him and crushed his skull, the limp body making a heavy thud on the floor.

Pie, awakened by the shouting, ran into the room. ?Holy shit Boss! Whad?ya do to him?? he said as he spotted the body. ?Never mind the mess boy, we?ve got to get everyone together on the bridge now, our murderer struck again.?

Once on the bridge, Zen calmly dictated the preceding events as if reading from a newspaper. He calmly told everyone how Wolvaroo had been put up to the act by his ?sneaky friend? it was clear that the murderer had struck again.

--------------------------------------------------

Alright, Wolvaroo bit the dust and now you?ve got to iron out the details in who?s been killing you all off.
