Im not really sure.
I would say Vandread, im not once for Fanservice at all but....Vandread was just so DAMN GOOD.
It balanced out the Story, Characters, and the bit of Fanservice so well.

Im actually glad i watched Sailor Moon, it was a stepping stone into Anime for me.
The next Anime that followed it molded my tastes and got me hooked on Anime AND Manga.
