What are some good PS3 games?

Yea, I was just browsing through last night and I saw them. I never noticed them before and I think it's because they never have free demos for the retro games. The demos page is the only one that I check regularly.

But still, they don't concentrate as much on the older games as much as the VC or XBL. The Wii's download service was only retro games for a while.

PSN does indeed have a load of PS1 games for cheap, and they're breaking out some real gems out there slowly.

If you'd like a blast from the past, or if you missed these when they were officially out, I would recommend buying and downloading the original Wild Arms, Castlevania: SOTN, and Suikoden 1.

I mean they don't have a bunch of old games like XBL and the Wii VC. You're not going to get Super Mario Bros and Street Fighter 2 on PSN. They just have new games like Echocrome (another free demo you have to check out) and Noby Noby Boy.

The VC has just much more games it can offer. Think about it: NES, SNES and N64. The PSN can only offer PSX games.

It should feel like one! The Metal Gear Solid series is a game/movie series and that is good. Hideo Kojima himself said that he wants that. It's not horrible because it tries to do something different.

Only thing I use my PS3 for is Street Fighter 4, and that's a multiplatform game.
InFamous is the only exclusive I can recommend. Everyone says Valkyria Chronicles is good, so I guess it's worth it if you like strategy. If you don't already play Metal Gear, avoid 4. Only a Metal Gear fanboy could like that boring movie. LittleBigPlanet is only good if you're creative as hell.

The PSN store has some good PS1 originals though.
As a Playstation fanboy, I'm personally disappointed with PS3 so far, but the upcoming games look great. I can't want for Team Ico's Project TRICO to finally get a real title.
