Hey guys, so after watching Troll 2 with some friends and having a blast, I've been on a sort of mission to find some of the "best" terrible movies out there.

When I say "best", I mean movies that are so bad, they're hilarious and fun to watch. Not just painfully bad, like say, "The Last Airbender". More cheesy B-movie types of movies.

While I hear Troll 2 is pretty much the epitome of the so-bad-it's-good movies, I've also tried watching The Room, Rubber, and Nazi's From the Center of the Earth. While the first one was funny, the other two had relatively funny moments and were honestly not that bad.

Any suggestions for movies like this would be awesome.

The Room. Words cannot properly convey its badness, you can only watch it for yourself.

Terminal Invasion. Not that it's bad... It's just so cheese and predicable. Still fun though because Bruce Campbell is in it.

Final Destination 3. Not that's necessarily bad...but it's not great either. Despite technically being classed as horror, some of the deaths are just so cartoonish and improbable that it's funny.

And that weird film that had Jason Statham in a wig and a random scene of Ray Liotta in his underpants.

Pretty much anything MST3K watched is a good bet.

Failing that, or looking at something more modern, I'd say Ironclad.

Revolver.

It's pretty weird but I didn't mind it. The Stath does look strange with hair though.

This is one of my favorite MST3ks. Gotta love the Joe Estevez jokes - "GOODBYE Joe!"

As Blunderboy said, any MST3k.

Also, Return of the Living Dead is pretty much amazing. If you watch it with the director's commentary you can just hear what a broken man he is. Love it.

Con Air. The movie features Nic Cage, John Cusack, Ving Rhames, O'Brian from Star Trek, Dave Chapelle, Steve Buscemi, Danny Trejo, and John Malkovich. They all know what kind of movie they're in (possibly with the exception of John Cusack) and chew the shit out of the scenery.

I hear the Room is the worst film ever made. My friend has a list of games to play while watching it.

We gotta do that sometime. It sounds hilariously bad.

Evil Dead 3: Army of Darkness.I swear Bruce Campbell used cheat codes in the film to reach that level of awesomeness

Just a follow up on this- Troll 2 is indeed amazing on it's own. But have you tried watching the Rifftrax version of it? Gotta love Mike Nelson and Rich Kyanka tearing the film apart.

The 1980's Hercules that our own Moviebob did a two part Big Picture episode over is pretty hilariously bad.

Halloween III: Season of the Witch is also hysterical. Juxtapose it to the first two Halloween movies, in which unkillable Michael Myers chases people with a knife... in Halloween III, some dude with a Magnum PI mustache tries to uncover the plot of an evil toy company that stole stonehenge... yeah. And it gets nuttier.

Or if you're in the mood for a foreign film, Aliens Vs. Ninjas is a classic in its own right.

And as I'm sure someone else has suggested by now, you really shouldn't miss Plan 9 From Outer Space.

Exam. It's such a horrible movie but you want to follow it. You don't like any of the characters, the story is confusing as shit...But the you want to know what happens & once you do find out it's like a 'fuck all of you guys' moment.

Monster Shark vs Giant Octopus! Genuinly hillarious film for all the wrong reasons. Also Sharktopus to a lesser extent!

Jason X

That's actually X as in Roman 10, it's supposed to be the 10th instalment of the Firday the 13th franchise (so, Jason - Jason Vorhees). It is an awesome comedy movie, though, not much for horror. I watched it with a friend and we had a blast. It's Jason Vorhees in space! Plot synopsis: In the future, some dumb kids find him frozen on Earth, so they bring him on their space ship.

On MovieBob's recommendation I watched the 1983 version of Hercules which is truly, spectacularly, bad and stupid. There is a point in the film where he THROWS A BEAR INTO SPACE. Surely it's worth watching for that alone?

Also, try the Bill and Ted's... movies. They are stupid but really rather brilliant.
