What are the most annoying fans in your opinion

Any fanboy, really, because it pretty much means you're not being reasonable about the given topic. If I had to pick one, though, it'd be PC elitists, even though I'm strictly a PC gamer. There's absolutely nothing wrong with console gaming, but for some reason they don't get that.

Keep in mind that my sample dialogue comes primarily from 12 to 15 year-olds.
*I am fully aware that the streams of nonsensical numbers that I listed are not real guns. To me they might might as well be because I don't care about, or want to care about guns. Listening to CoD fans talk is like reading a list of serial numbers out of a Sear's catalog. It drives me crazy.

I honestly like portal, and was satisfied with CoD: WaW, but if I hear one more person scream the cake is a lie, and I know for a fact that no cake was ever promised, or that a promised cake was delivered, I will strangle them with the power cables from their console of choice.

Here's a summary of general beliefs of PC elitists straight from the Urban Dictionary:

1. Graphic Superiority of PCs over Consoles
2. Infinite Backwards compatibility
3. Mouse and Keyboard beat out Controllers
4. Believe that all Games are PC games since you can't program on a Console
5. Believe in User Generated content for games
6. Feel that DLC should be Free.
7. Think Xbox Live is filled with racist twelve year olds.
8. Know what Steam is and have never bought a game from Gamestop since.
9. Feel that FPS should never have went to console
10. Hate Consoles

Honestly, these 'beliefs' are right, except for 4 and 10. And 7 is an exaggeration. You can't really argue about else, except maybe 9.

I'd say 2 is untrue, I've got a pile of old games that won't work on anything after xp. Even using compatibility modes and trying all sorts of googling. Also 3 is debatable, mouse and keyboard are more accurate but there are plenty of scenarios where I prefer a controller.

OT: All the fanboys are equally annoying. But if I had to pick I'd say haters. Seriously, you don't like the game, we know, it doesn't mean we're not allowed to like it and it doesn't make you better than us.

Fan's of indie music who think they are cooler than everyone else in the world and think they are so unique drive me insane. Also Lady Gaga fans really annoy me because a lot of them view her as the second coming of Jesus and believe she is the greatest thing to ever happen to the world. And they always say that if someone isn't a fan of Lady Gaga its because they "aren't smart enough to understand her music".

Gaming wise: People so into one genre that they'll flame any other genre. I'm extremely into JRPG's and will defend them until the day I die, but I play WRPG's, Shooters, and loads of other games too. And while Japanese games are my favorites, I will give other games a chance. Loads of people have one genre shoved so far into their brains (not what I wanted to say but I'm trying not to get banned) that they hate on every other genre they don't understand or play.

Movie Wise: People who still defend Avatar. Over rated Story that's been done in a way 6000 times. "Oh no, people want our resources but we don't want them to have them! Lets fight back! Humans are nazis and apparently we can't just discuss shit like normal people."

TV Wise: ANYONE WHO LIKES JERSEY SHORE AND THINK IT'S QUALITY TELEVISION.

Book wise: Twilight and Harry Potter. I like both series but some people take it too far.

I'm not exactly a fan of "indie" bands but I'm a fan of bands either lesser known from my country or bands from other countries that 95% of the people you talk to in your normal life wouldn't know. That make me a bad fan or....?

Personally, I despise hardcore Final Fantasy fans. One time I posted on a different forum that I didn't play the newer FF games because I never really got into the older ones. I said it was because I didn't like (and still don't for the most part) the turn-based combat, the plot was too convoluted for me to follow, and that I had never played FF VII. Some fanboy assaulted me, saying I had absolutely no taste in games and that I should just go back to CoD and Halo.
Oh, and anything that a hipster claims to be a fan of.
