The Golden Axe games piss me off so much, lol. The sound design is fucking hilarious though.

For Genesis beat-em ups, I prefer Streets of Rage 2.

Well, just finished the main story quests for FF14: Heavensward patch 3.2 and now spending time between playing Final Fantasy 4: The After Years and Borderlands 2 on my PS4. I had all characters in my XBox 360 version at max level, so for my PS4 version I'm trying to remake my Gunzerker's "Boomzerker" build where I fire nothing but rockets all the time, every time at everything.

Oh I prefer Streets of Rage 2 myself. I do still really like Golden Axe though.

I was always Skate, used to love the way he would get on the back of bad guys heads and punch them

My friend and I have done a couple playthroughs with Skate and Max for fun, but Axel and Blaze are just so much better XD

On a related note: I once did a no transformation playthrough of Altered Beast with another friend. It was hard as shit and I died literally two hits away from beating the last boss. My friend took it home with one red health bar left on his last life!

Playing Final Fantasy 14. Gotta get me my level 60 Paladin then grab all my relic gear. So that'll be fun.

Other than that I'm playing Dragons Dogma on the PC and Fire Emblem: Birthright. Both are super fun when I'm not playing Final Fantasy 14

I've mostly been going between World of Tanks and Fallout 4 for the last few months, though I do like to play LEGO Batman when my 360's disk reader isn't being garbage. Granted I've only been able to play it once so far, but I've still played it. I really need to get a newer 360.

As for the last game I beat, well I beat the campaign for Black Ops 3 a while ago. Does that count?

Got quite a few going on at the moment. Playing through Final Fantasy V (first time), as well as occasionally dipping into Xenoblade Chronicles X, Guild Wars 2, OoT Master Quest, and Pushmo.

Nothing's really grabbing me and holding my attention, though. I need a new 'main' game.

EDIT: Oh, and last game I finished was Journey, though of course, that's less about the completion and more about the... well, the journey.

Currently playing Kerbal Space Program having just re-started with a new career for the umpteenth time. I love the game to bits but I always get distracted by other games part way through a career, and by the time I get back to it I feel like I've forgotten how to play again, or there's been a new patch that's changed stuff, or there are new mods I want to try - so I start from scratch. I don't think I've actually done a career playthrough long enough to complete the tech tree yet, despite putting 370 hours into the game so far, but one day I will finally land on Eeloo in career mode!(Maybe!) - Also playing Fallout 4, Skyrim and CS:GO occassionally.

Last game I completed - Witcher 3 which was nearly 3 months ago. It's actually pretty rare I complete a game, as most of the ones I play forever don't actually have an ending, and for those with an ending I have the bad combination of a semi-OCD need to try for 100% completion combined with the lack of patience that means I often don't get there!

Last game completed: Outlast. Need to try DLC before the sequel rolls around.

Games currently playing: The fall, a unique indie 2.5d adventurey puzzle game with a very intriguing story about different AIs and how they have somehow survived by finding loopholes in their basic protocols. You play as an AI suit with an unconcious owner inside who your only mission is to find medical aid for. I think the woman that voices GLados voices this AI too. It's actually a really interesting story with some great dark humour in places. Combat has a simplified shadow complex setup. It can be slow and ponderous with a clunky point and click/rub items against environment objects until progress occurs style, but the intrigue is enough to keep going, just to see what will happen next and figure the mystery of what the hell is going on. I think it is the work of just one guy too.

Ratchet and Clank: A crack in time. These games are quite well made and funny in a Pixar animation sort of way. Am new to them, scratching the 3d platformer itch quite nicely.

Just Cause 3: Every now and then tis good for a blast, like taking far between bites out of a dangerously high-sugar cookie to avoid the diabetus.

Scholar of first sin: It takes a while, whenever i can be arsed. It also takes a certain level of arsedness though.

Great reception to this thread. I've have honestly been reading every response word to word to further educate myself. Still got some more reading to do to finish catching up for the time I was away.

If the community is for it, and space is available. A sticky will do some justice for this thread. As its one of the more popular threads that I've seen on GT and other sites with different wording.

As dor things I would like to play through at some point: My pile of shame is so immense that it's overwhelming sometimes. Most of the time I look at my Steam library I can't decide what to play - and I'm fully aware that this is my first world problem.
Yea I personally learned my lesson with Steam and other retail outlets. To avoid buying games I can't see myself playing within the next 1-3 months tops. And while I haven't been able to dive into my Steam backlog with no gaming PC of my own yet. I finished almost all the last gen games on consoles I was interested in, between the PS3 and 360.

I'm also still waiting on an opportunity to get a hard copy of Bloodborne. I would have snag it during Christmas sales when it was 20 dollars at Gamestop. But I just purchased a PS4 the week before, and wasn't going to have money till Christmas. Haven't gotten a chance to play anything else other than MGSV so its ok.

The Punisher on the PS2 is a classic and a game I've always really liked. I'm currently at Pier 52 (I think that's the level name, the last level I beat centered around killing Mama Gnucci and Bushwhacker). What I didn't realize when I was younger though is that this game can easily become a cover-based shooter based on how often you grab up a Goon. It's censored a bit but it's still a pretty violent experience. I really enjoyed this game when I was younger and to this day, I still have fun playing...even if I can't quite get those gold medals.
Yes it is.

Loved that game, and its loaded with content. Don't remember if I finished it though. But I can always check someday to see my progress.

I don't hate anyone from GT. And I've grown to a point in my life that it will take some real hell for me to really despise someone personally. Nothing that small disagreements on an online forum will amount to.

Many of us joined because we took a look around and saw many similarities with The Escapist and GT. It's a small close community, that has mature discussions (with some jokes on the side). And the layout is very identical so it feels homey.

I am playing ...blah Hyper Dimension Neptunia V Re:Birth 3 Generation

It's a story about the console wars if represented by magical girls who are basically Gods with a support cast of companies. Everyone from SEGA, Playstation to Nintendo are represented, with a support cast of companies like MAGES. Cyberconnect 2 ....all game companies I'm not familiar with, except IF and Compa.

I've got a love hate with this game, love the music, the battles are cool, I like the jokes about consoles/hardware/games but I hate the fanservice and the goofy typical anime jokes.

There's 1 character, 1 freaking character that always delivers gold and unfortunately in this one she's a kid and came late, but EVEN STILL she's funny:

She's apparently writing a story about Metatron and Beezlbub. FINE WITH ME! The humor is somewhere between Excel Saga and ....some newer Anime I haven't seen.

IDK I like the game in ways but I just don't dig their fan service. Stupidly I've gotten ALL 3 GAMES from misunderstandings.

Currently playing the Telltale Game of Thrones game, which I started a year ago and am only now getting back to. I'm currently in Chapter 4, and it's classic Telltale really. It's a bit more action oriented compared to the Walking Dead games, but probably similar to The Wolf Among Us.

Last game I finished was Sherlock Holmes: Crime and Punishments. I really enjoyed the way you made deductions by linking together two bits of information and then actually coming to your own conclusion about what really happened even when presented with numerous possibilities. Disliked how you had to go back and forth between destinations sometimes in order to analyze something you just found or to look up some info in your archives, resulting in wasted loading times. I understand the reasoning, but it made some sections of the game drag a bit.

Well, the last game I beat was Pony Island with 100% full completion... Sure, I slept (or just passed out with insomnia) for 7 out of the 25 hours I put into this game, but it was all worth it in the end...

I'm currently playing Splatoon... and trying my very best to not neglect life, itself, just to play more of it...

I'm thinking of 100% speeding through Ys 1 on Steam on February 29, but I got shit to do in the afternoon so I don't know...
