Ok, here goes:

- the entire concept gaming has of good and evil is completely ridiculous and stupid.
- Havin weapons as bodyparts is not for angst, its for fun!
- Sandbox games are pointless
- Characters in Fallout 3 are the most unappealing in gaming history
- A game does not have to be hard to be enjoyable
- I liked Merril from Dragon Age 2
- I actually enjoy levelgrinding now and again, if the combat is engaging
- Gaming has to much grit, to little real humor
- People please stick to your cultural backgrounds. Japan and America, I´m looking at you...

5. Pokémon has been getting gradually better
I would have to agree, though this may be because I have gained a much better understanding of the games as I've grown up. (I first played Pokemon when I was about 6 with Yellow)

OT: I actually really like most of the new Pokemon introduced in Black/White.
Also I hate Halo with a passion.

I like cutscenes. Even the long sprawling ones. To me they can be (and most times are) an integral part of telling the story. And they look good, and are made interesting to watch (since, like I said, they help progress the story).

I rather enjoyed FF8. It was pretty awesome actually. I play it over and over, very often, at least once a month. And I love it each time.

I hate online multiplayer. Not even in the FPS genres, but all genres. Multiplayer to me means having a friend of mine sitting next to me, playing with me. Talking in a headset cannot compare to the energy you get from playing with someone who is physically next to you. If my friend can't be there, then I play by myself. I especially hate when games that are expected to have local multiplayer don't even have the option. I suppose the FPS genre has rebuilt itself around online multiplayer, but racing games? Come on. No local multiplayer on racing games? How fucking worthless.

1. In the face of Battlefield 3, Call of Duty should be liquidated as a franchise.

That's more or less it.

Flame shield, engage!

1)I liked Wind Waker the best out of the entire Zelda series

2)I don't find Halo's storyline worthy of being put to the cross

3)The glitches and ramrod-stiff characters did nothing to break my immersion in either Bethesda-published Fallout or Oblivion

4)I found a lot (not all) of the Colossi in Shadow thereof to be unimpressive

5)I think Civilization is the one series that has constantly gotten better with every sequel (although, I am a little bit biased, seeing as Revolution was my first).

6)I couldn't care less about Half Life, and only like Portal 2. Left 4 Dead is gold, however

7)I'm not against "Casual" games in the slightest

8)I don't hate the misinformed "Watchdogs" constantly attacking games: It forces developers to either defend their product, take the stupid crap out of their game, or reveal themselves as spineless.

9)I think Consoles and PC's are capable of becoming totally equal, and that's a good thing.

10)I haven't thrown Duke Nukem under the bus just because of Forever.

1. Half-Life 2 is merely ok; Half-Life 1 was good for the time.
2. Bioshock is terrible.
3. Halo ODST and Reach are the only games in the series I like.
4. FF8 is the best in the series; FF6 is unbelievably bad.
5. Chrono Trigger is boring and mundane as hell.

I don't see the point of games that can't be beaten (MMORPGs, as a gigantic example).

Same with modern games with high-score systems. (I'm mainly thinking of Bulletstorm, but to a lesser extent Vanquish) Unless the game plays out in exactly the same way each time it's played (it makes sense with Space Invaders, Donkey Kong, etc.) one player could be presented with the ideal conditions to get a supreme score (eg. enemies being in convenient spots, not shooting you so much, your idiot AI companion not killing the dude you were lining up for a super-intricate skill kill) whereas other players may never be presented with that chance.

Also, Peter Molyneux should leave games alone.

Parents need to follow the rating system on games. Games are rated 'M' for a reason.
Turn off the game, go outside, do something.

1. Newer Pokemon can be better than old ones, and usually are.

2. Halo is better than every Valve game I have played (Note: I still love valve games but I think Halo is better than them all)

3. Modern Warfare 2 is actually good (Though very broken)

4. FPS's are still fun

5. I hate Final Fantasy but I like Pokemon

6. I actually enjoy regenerating health in some games

7. Portal, Dead Space, and Bioshock are works of art

8. Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time is a masterpiece

9. 1% of the XBL population is smart/enjoyable to play with

10. We need a full on Zombies game from Treyarch.

Thats a few.

1. COD is a horrible thing spawned from the very depths of hell.
2. ODST was awful (don't know how many people would agree, but Halo fanboys, bring on the hate mail).
3. Digimon>Pokemon. (Yeah, I went there.)
4. The Nintendo 64 controller can die... in a fire.
5. Wind-waker was a good game, especially for the Gamecube.
6. I liked Fable 2 and 3.
7. More games should implement a 9 point alignment system (again, don't know whether unpopular or not, just throwing it out there. A 9 points alignment system, for all you ignorant people out there, has good evil and neutral on one axis, and lawful chaotic and neutral on another).
8. I liked Red Alert 3.
9. I would like to see more unrealistic fun in shooter games, like in Saints Row 2, and other such goofy titles. Not annoying over gory bits of crap that developers shove down our throats. (I'm looking at you Gears of War)

10. And this one goes out to all you Sims 3 fanboy/girls out there! You ready?

The Sims 3 is way better without Late Night and World Adventures.

Bring the hate mail and death threats escapists, and I shall reply in kind with a few more home truths.

1. I enjoy playing casual games
2. Motion controls can be fun when done right
3. I don't hate sequels
4. I have no problems with DLC
5. Nintendo isn't the most uncreative developer out there and sometimes still does innovate
6. The quality of games isn't going down hill, it's improving.

1. I hate both of the DA games (except for that song) because I think they are shoddy crap and suspect everyone is trying to pull a fast one on me when they say they like it. And yet I like fuel of war because I loved the online even though the game was crap.

2. I think halo CE had an amazing story and the first three books were all awesome, everything after felt like riding the coattails of success, except for H2 online and H3 theater mode.

3. I think Kotor 2 was leagues better than Kotor 1 in terms of story, but mostly I like Kotor 1 better with regards to settings.

4. I dislike halo wars for having shallow game play. (the cut screens are epic though)

5. I thought the story from Enslaved OTTW was fun.

1. Diablo 3 is going to be kick-ass, fed up of people seeming like pretentious arseholes going OMFG THEYRE SELLING OUT DUE TO ONLINE AUCTION HOUSES. Shut up and play the game with your friends, and have fun, you don't need to pay any extra money to have fun on the game. People moan about the online only too? Who ever played Diablo offline for more than 1 playthrough?

2. I'm looking forward to MW3, hated MW2 for the most part but new CoDs are always really fun for the first few months before the try hards kick in.

3. League of Legends is better than DotA

4. Portal 2 entertained me more in general than Portal 1, mainly because it had more features and lasted longer than 1 sitting. (as well as having co-op)

5. New weapons on TF2 make the game more interesting

6. Halo has good multiplayer(Rule out Reach). Deal with it.

I would have agreed with you until Cataclysm came out... I get so bored on it now so I gave up playing it.

1. Pokemon Red, Green, Blue, and Yellow are the worst games in the series due to their insane number of easily-exploitable glitches, and the series has technically mainly improved over time.

2. Metroid Other M's boring gameplay and annoying control scheme may be even more grating than its terribly-executed story. (Yeah, I REALLY hate this game.)

3. Handheld games, to me, are far more enjoyable than console games.

4. Super Mario Galaxy is more fun than Mario 64.

5. The Zelda from Spirit Tracks is adorable. (I don't know how unpopular this is, but I kinda liked Spirit Tracks, and Zelda was a big reason why.)

6. I don't know how unpopular this one is either, but for multiplayer action, Donkey Kong Country Returns is better than New Super Mario Bros Wii.

7. Capcom does keep rereleasing the same game over and over again and has been since 1988, at least. That doesn't make the games less fun. :p

8. I like the new Sam & Max games. (Just saying because hardly anybody ever brings them up.)

9. Brawl is more fun to play than Melee.

I absolutely Hate it when people in MMOs refer to their characters as "toons" I'm also apparently the only person that is disgusted by the practice.

Final Fantasy 13 is actually a pretty decent game.

And along those same lines, not all RPGs need in-depth character customization. Having a well-defined central character in an RPG is not a bad thing.

- I would much rather the average game was cheaper and shorter than the opposite. I can't stand seeing a good single-player campaign (or an awful tacked-on multiplayer) become bloated and boring just to add a few hours. It happens way, way too often. Sure, there are some games that require an enormous campaign, the sort of addictive RPG where you'll willingly live in for a few weeks, but it shouldn't apply to everything.

- As hard as I try to like it, Bioshock just isn't for me.

- Red Dead Redemption was one of the most boring, repetitive and ugly games I've played this gen. I'm still having nightmares where I have to traverse all across Mexico on a goddamn horse just to play the same mission I've already played in other, better games dozens of times, but with stetsons, neckerchiefs and force-fed, uninspired writing.

- Although I find it competent in what it does and aesthetically beautiful, exactly how is Uncharted 2 one of the greatest games of all time? It just seems a bit... generic?

- Goldeneye is still good. Just because an old game plays differently to new games of the same genre doesn't suddenly make it awful.

- I have never finished a Zelda game and have no intention to.

- Mario Party > Smash Bros. Erry day.

Playing Psychonauts felt like work.

Lots of funny dialogue, yes, but most of the platforming was either lame or else brutally difficult.

I got to near the end of the game and simply quit - I was repeating the same sections of platforming over and over and over with the carrot in front of me that I might get a few good lines of dialogue for my troubles if I succeeded. I finally gave up in frustration.

Last time I was that frustrated by a game was Battletoads on NES...
