Red Faction Guerrilla is a good game, who told you otherwise? Its Armageddon that sucked. Guerrilla was all like, here is a hammer that ignores the laws of physics, have fun!

Alright, time for my unpopular beliefs! (careful, it is a long list)

Spoiler

1. Majora's Mask was the best Zelda game

2. Mario can just fuck right off

3. the Nintendo 64 controller was the second worst gaming peripheral ever

4. It feels awkward to hold Dreamcast controllers, what with only one analogue stick and all (though it is still awesome)

5. Sonic was never really that great

6. Mass Effect 2 was a good game

7. Lost Planet 2 was a good game

8. Halo: Reach was the best in the franchise, because they got rid of Master Chief (who was getting really boring when he started talking a whole bunch)

9. 2D fighting games are still fun

10. League of Legends is good (and its free!)

11. any DLC that is above 10 US dollars can fuck right off (either its over-priced - yea I'm looking at YOU Call of Duty!- or it takes up way too much hard-drive space!)

12. Being able to customize your appearance, even if it means only using pre-made skins, is a really cool idea, and should be implemented more!

Everything this man speaks is the truth. Imma go ahead and say this. I got silent hill 2 the other day. Not that scary if im honest.

Seriously, game need to cut back on the violence. Do you think there is a reason anti-games activists think gaming causes murder, because look at the the killing a typical gamer does in most game. Seriously one of the games everyone clamors about being art, Bioshock, is mostly running down hallways shooting people.

2. I like dark and gritty

3. cutscenes are not the devil (that is unless they are 5 hours long)

4. generally I think voicless is only ok if you can customize your charachter (yes there are exceptions)

5. the Wii has absolutly nothing to offer ASIDE from the obvious nintendo franchises (metroid prime 3 was amazing)

2. Minecraft is just a glorified Lego builder, nothing more.

And, Zelda: A Link To The Past is the best Zelda game ever made.

I'm liking games less and less to the point I might be "growing out of them." Roger Ebert is a brilliant writer most of the time. No game has ever lived up to my personal hype. David O Russell would have been a good fit for an Uncharted movie. Everything Hideo Kojima has done or will ever do sucks. Japanese culture is interesting, but I don't feel any game has accurately reflected it in any capacity. I don't play online multiplayer and you can't make me.

I love first person shooters, but I hate the competitive multiplayer gameplay which many shooters prioritize. Unless there's a strong focus on single-player or cooperative gameplay, I'm not interested.

If you honestly thought Duke Nukem Forever was going to be a well-polished, well put together game after the long development hell, you're either amazingly naive or Gearbox slipped mind-control drugs in your drink (yes, what is 'good' is subjective, but even if you like the game you have to admit that the overall product was pieced together rather poorly).

I know right? It just doesnt make any sense to me

I mean if anything as a fan you should have been VERY sceptical....this was a game in development hell....development hell for that long is generally NOT a good sign

1. Obsidian are amazing devs, buggy games, but great.

2. Bioware are terrible devs, thier writing is bad, gameplay nothing special and I think they are sellouts.

3. I like Halo.

4. I prefered mass effect 1s gameplay to ME2s.

5. I hate oblivion, it sucked.

6. I am not that excited about skyrim, it looks ok, nothing amazing.

7. I liked Obsidians fallout more an Bethesdas.

8. Valve are overrated, HL isnt that great people, stop fapping over it and worshiping it as the second coming of christ.

9. Minecraft is a bad game, most of it is spent grinding for resources, resources to get more resources, to get more resources... Buildng elaborate things are pointless.

Minecraft is fine in devmode (I think it's called) where you can just spawn what you need and build what you want.

Also Halo is a watered down, slowed down version of UT

COD 2 and world at war are better than any modern warfare game and always will be

bioshock 2 is narrowly better than 1

FF9 is the one FF to rule them all.

HOMM 6 looks boring uninspired and generally shit. HOMM is also whipped by kings bounty in general

Here goes...

1. I found FFVII to be undeserving of its many accolades and even painstakingly boring at times.
2. I think Oblivion was far better than Morrowind.
3. World of Warcraft is as much a grind-fest as any FarmVille or similar title.
4. COD is a great series of games, and have introduced many people to the world of online gaming.
5. Console fanboyism is childish, and graphics will be so realistic soon that how a game looks on a given platform will be irrelevant.
6. The only games truly worthy of 'art' status are made by indie developers, corporations can't make art in the same way that Pepsi can't make fine wine.
7. The tag of being a 'gamer' in the iOS age has lost whaever little meaning it once had.
