Repeat threads. I really really love repeat threads, so I came here to look for them, and lo and behold! You posted one!

Welcome to the Escapist. Please use the Search Bar, use proper grammar and read the forum guidelines found at the top of each separate forum section.

Zero Punctuation took me here, but I don't like his show that much nowadays. Mostly stay because of the forums and the other reviewers.

Zero Punctuation at first but the forums kept me coming here. They are truly international. It is nice to talk to people from around the world.

Came for Zero Punctuation, stayed for pretty much everything else.

Although I do a lot more lurking than I do posting. Given my join date and how many posts I have.

I was watching ZP before it came to The Escapist, and I had heard of The Escapist before then, so I'm not sure if I came here before or after that. I will say I've quite a history of wasting time on forums, so that's probably the main thing that has me visit from time to time.

That hourglass figure and ass that just won't quit...

Those sexy come hither eyes, and long flowing hair...

I knew I could never leave her, but then again why would I want to...

The Escapist...

I'm attracted here by the Force-100 Super Magno-Beam that they have here. The Escapist knows how to harness the iron in every man's blood.

I was referred here to see Yahtzee. I stayed due to the fact that he's a harsh reviewer, as well as unskippable, and the forums.

I was told about Zero Punctuation by a friend, but didn't really get into it until seeing a Resident Evil one when I was searching the web for...something on the matter. Ended up on some RE blog with the vid. Then I got into Unskippable via the DIRGE of CERBERUS vid, so I keep up with those two now. I think I learned of There Will Be Brawl being here from a badge (or whatever they're called), but I haven't bothered to catch up on the series (left off around the fourth one, give or take). How is it that ScrewAttack and now The Escapist steal mah shows from more...accessible places, like YuuTuub?

Zero Punctuation. I had been a long-time fan of Yahtzee's work and when I saw that he was doing video-game reviews I absolutly had to watch them.

I always loved the editorials that were, at one point, 50% of the site's make-up (the other half being the forum). Sadly, the editorials don't really get home page exposure anymore.

The "magazine style" presentation of the weekly articles gave a real sense of legitimacy to yet another outlet in the overcrowded space of video game journalism. I once believed this site's content and structure to be the colors flying above the heads of all intelligent gamers in the fight for acceptance of the medium.

Thankfully the content is still there if you care to look for it, but it's too bad the most visible thing this site seems to have is the comedic game reviews.

I'm always a little shocked when I think of this site as growing considering the strongest value proposition has been obscured almost completely. But then again, I guess there's always room for jell-o...
